Templavoila - Extra space in content when "Typoscript Only" or "Object Path" - typo3

This has been bothering me a little for a while and I couldn't find any other mention of that problem anywhere. It is not really important, but maybe there's a simple solution that I'm missing.
When creating a FCE, some Elements are Typoscript only or Typoscript Object Path.
When I set those, I get blank extra space in the content (In picture, see between Content and Description). This is an empty <div class="form-section">, just like the other fields but empty.
Is there a way to prevent Templavoilà Plus from displaying a field if no content is required from the redactor, meaning if they are an Typoscript Object Path for exemple?

please create an issue report about this on https://github.com/pluspol-interactive/templavoilaplus/issues and post an example DataStructure for this.
Thanks

XML Sitemap with typoscript makes wrong URLs

According to http://www.typo3-probleme.de/2018/07/11/typo3-sitemap-mit-typoscript-erstellen-2285/ I let TYPO3 V8.7.24 generate the sitemap.xml file. So far it works. But in the file there are not proper URL's. On every URLs end is "?type=500001", for example an URL looks like "https://www.domain.ch/angebot/online-marketing/?type=500001". As a side note , there is also Ext:Realurl in use.
My request is, how can you remove the segment "?type=500001" ? Is the reason typoscript or the extension Realurl? How can I analyse it?
Any hint is welcome. Thanks in advance for your help.
It's the link generation inside of TYPO3. that is configured by typoscript, so you could see typoscript as the culprit.
If you want to know whether realurl (or any other extension) is the culprit: disable the extension in mind. if the error is gone there is a reason to suspect this extension.
When links are generated by TYPO3 it holds some parameter to stay in the current context. Which paramaters should be considered is a configuration (so it is grounded in typoscript).
Have a look (TSOB) at config.linkVars in general (it is copied implicit to every page object) or of your page object page.config.linkVars (in your case: xml_sitemap.config.linkVars)
There is a note in the manual:
Do not include the type parameter in the linkVars list, as this can result in unexpected behavior.
Other option would be to explicit set &type=0 to every link. But don't forget to set config.uniqueLinkVars = 1 (or xml_sitemap.config.uniqueLinkVars = 1)

Changing Templavoila field names

In the process of cleaning up some Templavoila Plus FCE, I created a new FCE template that will replace several others. To do so, I created some new field names to replace the old ones. (I noticed you can't change the name of a field after creating it).
For example, I had field_title_A for FCE A, field_title_B for FCE B, etc… Now I just have field_title in my new FCE template.
The problem is that if I change the FCE / Template Object for an existing content, the title field is now empty. It doesn't understand that field_title_A is now field_title.
I seriously doubt that there is a solution, but I still hope there is one.
Is there something I can do to tell TV to move the content of field_title_A to field_title or to tell it field_title_A is now field_title? Is there another way to achieve that?
If I'm not using some terms properly, please, feel free to edit.
no, there is no such support present yet. You could open a feature request for that, but I don't think I could work out a sollution in the next 2 years.

Pre-populating form fields with model data in Sightly/HTL

I've tried all the HTL context parameters (even 'unsafe'). When I inspect the input, I can see the value intact, but you can't see the value pre-populated in the field. I tried different types of values, different contexts, and different types of input fields. [AEM 6.2]
<input type="email" name="senderEmail" value="${userProfile.email # context='text'}"/>
If the value is rendered in page source and also visible in browser inspector, could it be that it's hidden by some weird CSS? Something like color:transparent
There are many possible causes. I'll pitch in one, to help get you thinking. Is userProfile available via the use api?
I've made this mistake before:
<div data-sly-use.bean="com.beans.Bean">
${bean.value}
</div>
// ... other code
${bean.value}
The "Bean" isn't available later, outside it's host element.
If I understand your question correctly this isn't actually about HTL, but rather about the HTML input element itself. You have an input element with a value attribute set, yet that value is not displaying in the box. If that's correct, then I'd recommend doing some investigation around HTML input value not displaying when set, rather than sightly context issues.
Some possible answer would include css styles hiding the input text or javascript clearing out the values after page load. There are certainly more potential causes, but we'd need to know more about your page to provide a better answer.
To do some of your investigation you can try loading a component with only that input in it and see if that works, that would eliminate any css or js executing elsewhere on the page.

Cannot add a third content field

I'm kinda new to typo, so maybe I am just missing something.
I'm trying to add a third content field to Typo3 4.5.
What I've done so far.
Edit my template and added a new block
Added the block via TemplatVoila > Update Mapping > Modify DS / TO with Element Preset "Page-Content Elements [Pos.: 0]
Mapped it to the new block in the template
But I am missing something as the new field isn't showing up in the Page edit screen.
EDIT: I've found the Block in the "Edit page properties" but how to show it on standard edit screen?
Any added content area will appear automatically in your TV-View-module. So if you dont see it in there, then
you may have duplicate fields names
wrong column positions
or the existing template is using a »beLayout«-section, which shows only the first two content areas (see example in reference http://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/extensions/templavoila/ExtTemplavoila/StaticDataStructures/ExampleForBelayout/Index.html)
The TemplaVoila template is split into TS (TemplaVoilà Template Object) and DS (TemplaVoilà Data Structure) records, may you paste the content of the field „Data Structure XML“ of the DS record here? In there are all necessary information.
The two template files should be located in your general storage folder, your TypoScript root file should be there as well.

How to fusion two content elements? / Does an all in one content element exist?

I need a content element that cointains apsects from the "Textpic" and the "Media" content elements.
Basically I need the whole palette of input masks of the textpic CE (headline, rte text, images) plus the media tab (swf, mp4, mov) from the media content element.
This special requirements for our project comes from the need that we can only use one content element for our specific javascript content slieder. So I can not use like a Textpic and underneath a media CE. No it really has to be just one CE which can handle the textpic + the media CE stuff.
Generally I ask you: Is there already a extension, trick, modification or a framework which I can/should be use to achive that i can "fusionate" content elements? Like an "all-in-one"-content element, a multi content element?
Ps: I do not use Templavoila. My Typo3 version is 4.5
I think this is the tutorial you're looking for:
http://castironcoding.com/resources/our-blog/sp/view/single/post/reason-6-for-choosing-typo3-custom-content-elements-and-extbase-again-part-23.html
Follow step 2 and 3.
You'll also need to add a specific rendering config in Typoscript ie: tt_content._your-ce_
But it can be copied from out of tt_content.textpic and tt_content.media. You can find the expample typoscript of before mentioned CE's in: typo3/sysext/css_styled_content/static/setup.txt. Just don't alter it there, but make a copy and alter in your own file.
As you seem to only talk about reusing already exisiting fields, you really only need to change the backend interface (big keyword: "showitem"). You'll need the database names of the fields (peek into the tt_content table of some records where you know the contents), alternatively visit the module Admin Tools / Configuration, select TCA in top dropdown menu, open tt_content and columns.
Try http://blog.chandanweb.com/typo3/adding-new-fields-to-existing-typo3-tables-at-desired-location, you'll of course have to substitue tt_content for tt_news etc.
You might also want to make a new type (the above recipe is for changing a preexisitent), but I'm sorry, I'm currently out of time for explaining that. It's not very hard, though, and the castiron link by Koopa will help you on your way.
Perhaps you can wrap the content column in another div? You can use that outer div for your content slider. Now you actually use all content elements seperately, but combine then for usage.
