Integrate Paypal in multi merchant website - paypal

I have a multi merchant website and in that what i need to do is when customer purchase a product 5% of the money is gone to website paypal account for service and rest of the money will be gone to seller paypal account. I need to integrate paypal in that. As paypal adaptive payments is deprecated and paypal is not providing any other solution to do that.
Can anyone please tell me any paypal service which can make it possible.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need marketplace APIs. If you need PayPal APIs in specific, you can look into PayPal for Marketplaces. Braintree (A PayPal service) has better APIs here.
Stripe Connect is also a competitor with good reputation.
With all these APIs, you can control funds disbursement by specifying percentages as you mentioned in your post. I don't know what your complete use case is. So I'd suggest researching all 3 of these and choosing the one that best fits your budget and business model.

Create a mathematical equation to give you the difference between
the total and your 5% (or the seller's 95%).
Process the entire amount into your account.
Pay the seller their (95%) share by transferring that amount to their account.

Recurring payment on PayPal Express Checkout

Im trying set up recurring payment on my site by using Paypal Express Checkout. I did read through the official docs and I couldnt find anything useful related to recurring payment.
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/direct/express-checkout/integration-jsv4/add-paypal-button/
Im just wondering does Express Checkout support recurring payment? If so, how can I achieve that or Where can I get some good example to start with?
Thank you for your help in advance. Much appreciated
Cheers
We have a similar issue before. You might wanted to take a look at this thread.
I'm trying to understand the use case here. When you say recurring payment for express checkout,it has to be something a customer is buying regularly like restocking an item, in that case it's not an express checkout, it's a recurring purchase by a returning customer. They must have opted to restock at a regular interval like every 30 days, 2 months etc. They also must be registered users on your website.
So your logic must include — Checking all the customers who have set up an automatic purchase for an item.
—Check their frequency of purchase and charge them for the amount of the item at that frequency.
—For this purpose PayPal has a REST API :
This is the accurate place to look for to implement PayPal recurring payments:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/payments/#payment_create
In case they also allow you to authorize payments through the following API
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/payments/#authorization
you could use it as well.
But at least this narrows down your choices in terms of regular payment authorization.
This API will allow you to request PayPal services to authorize payment on a regular basis for that customer. You will still have to have your own logic to check the 'subscription' for your products and the intervals.
—The CreateRecurringPaymentsProfile API Operation (NVP) at the link below looks to be for personal payments. For example something an Inventory Management System will do.
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/merchant/CreateRecurringPaymentsProfile_API_Operation_NVP/
It's an API specific to adding recurring payments functionality.
Since you're a developer, PayPal Developers' Resources will answer any queries you have regarding the API functionality and usage. You will have to just know what to ask for. You are their B2B customer trying to understand their API system. You can also file a bug on their Developer portal if you're not getting proper answers.

PayPal Recurring payments/subscription

I need to create a subscriptions system in my app, where users can subscribe to a certain package and they must be billed monthly.
Moreover, I need to charge their credit card automatically, and without requiring them to have a PayPal account.
I read about https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=merchant/erp_overview, but is seems it's not available anymore as I click on sign up and it gives me an error ("Sorry, this feature is not available at this time.").
Then I've read about PayPal Standard Payments, which have a subscription method (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-standard/integration-guide/subscribe_buttons/)
From what I can read there is that this is what is suitable for my use case, and it says that I need to enable the above mentioned service, which it doesn't work.
Can someone point me in the right direction on what service should I use from PayPal in order to implement recurring payments (basically my users will subscribe themselves to a service on my website, and I need to charge them monthly).
Thank you.
If you're wanting to handle credit cards directly I would highly recommend going with Payments Pro w/ Recurring Payments APIs.
You'll have to pay a monthly fee to get it all activated, and it's a little bit more expensive than what you were looking at, but it will give you much greater flexibility building your application(s) into various experiences for your buyers.

Chargify vs Amazon's, Google's and PayPal's payment service?

I wanna build a web store for selling people's second hand products.
A customer adds the products into a shopping cart.
He/she pays (credit card, bank account) for it and I get the money.
The seller sends the bought products to the customer.
I get send the money to the seller (and have taken a fee for it).
People tend to mention Amazon's, Google's and PayPal's payment service but recently I came across services like Chargify and Recurly.
My questions:
How do these two differ from the other three?
Which one would support the above mentioned transaction process?
How should I set up the above transaction process?
The "big 3" require an account. How do I charge with just a credit card or bank account only?
Thanks!
Thanks for thinking of Chargify.
We're not the right thing for your need... we focus on helping a business manage many things involved in recurring billing of customers.
For what you want to do, I think one of the "Big 3" is the way to go. You've got the extra "wrinkle" of this, however: you're essentially collecting money on behalf of each Seller, and each Seller may be selling very different things and will have different levels of honesty, etc.
All of my experience is with merchants that have a traditional merchant account and payment gateway, which together allow them to charge credit cards. But the banks that issue merchant accounts want to know what each merchant (each Seller) is about. I'm 99% sure the banks dislike a single merchant account being used to sell / collect credit card payments for more than one merchant.
Anyway, to the degree that it's useful, I wrote a blog post last year about merchant accounts and payment gateways. It may be helpful to you as you explore options:
https://lancewalley.wordpress.com/2010/06/22/merchant-accounts-payment-gateways/
See my answer in Online payments for a middleman.
PayPal Adaptive Payments allows you to accept guest payments, without requiring buyers to have a PayPal account.
Another thing to think about is regional availability; Amazon / Google may sound interesting, but are not very useful if you don't live in the US or UK. Whereas PayPal Adaptive Payments is available pretty much globally (with the exception of a few countries where PayPal hasn't launched yet).

Accept recurring payments with PayPal PayFlow Link

I am looking to set up a recurring payment option for my website. I was thinking of going with PayFlow since it does not require expensive SSL. But I am not sure how to set up a recurrence payment where if the user decides to change the account type, we can automatically set up recurring payment for them to get charged next month. Not sure if this is possible?
A few problems, they charge almost $60/month and they require to have a Merchant Account (any suggestions)?
Can some one help with what type of service should I use? I am looking to not have credit card acceptance on my webpage because SSL is really expensive.
The webpage is in php.
PayPal Express Checkout does this, and more. While Payflow Link is generally a good and robust solution, Express Checkout has a bit more to offers in terms of features. It also redirects your buyers to a PayPal landing page for entering their card details.
I assume you can simply delete / disable a recurring payments profile and set up a new one whenever someone switches plans, right? In that case you'll want to look at the CreateRecurringPaymentsProfile API.
Have a look at https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_api_ECRecurringPayments and https://www.x.com/docs/DOC-1168
Do keep in mind however, that recurring payments on Express Checkout only works with existing PayPal accounts. Someone who doesn't have a PayPal account yet, will have to create one during checkout.
Paypal is usually a great solution. There is no problem with billing recurring payments (subscriptions).
You can read all about it here:

Authorize.net, Paypal or Google Checkout, which one should I go with?

Which payment gateway should I choose from among Authorize.net, PayPal & Google Checkout?
Is there anything wrong if I provide all ? I'm planning for express checkout methods in all the three services, the direct credit card accepting service.
The more choices you offer, the more choices your customers have, so no, there is nothing wrong with offering all three.
If you potentially have customers from the EU or Asia, you may want to investigate options that are popular in those regions as well.
Keep in mind, PayPal tends to freeze money in account for some reason and have huge problems even answering email with 24 hours.
Paypal is of course the most well known and respected, however the answer actually depends on the amount of revenue your company will make (monthly and yearly averages), the average price per transaction and the number of debit card vs credit card payments you are likly to take. Without these figures it's nigh on impssible to determine which one is cheapest for you.
Authorize.Net is only a payment gateway, not a payment processor. You need to have a US based merchant account to use with Authorize.Net.
Paypal and Google Checkout are third party payment processors. They essentially are the payment gateway and merchant account rolled into one package.
It's worth noting, from the research I've done, using PayPal is cheaper than credit card processing directly. They charge less of a fee (I'm assuming because they process everything themselves, and don't go through some third party to get to the credit card company).
