Using Prospects Theory in Netlogo - netlogo

:I have problems when I use the Prospects theorem into my merges pricing model. so, I want to ask for you help.
Q1: I don't know how to define the relative change in merges price if we used the Prospects theory.
Q2: This paper"PRICING MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS USING AGENT-BASED MODELING" inspires me a lot. But It's difficult to come true in Netlogo , If you have the some interesting in the Pricing of merges using Prospects theory, Please contacts me, and help together. thanks

This is not really a suitable question for StackOverflow. The purpose is to help you with problems fixing a specific piece of code. That is, you need to have some draft code that doesn't do what you want it to do and a description of what you want it to do. Instead, you are asking for someone to work with you to design and then build a model.

AS/RS simulation in Anylogic Simulation Software

I need to simulate a fully functional AS/RS in warehousing. Moreover, I am a complete beginner in this field. Can some please let me know if I could get readymade simulation file? Or if not, please let me know how to learn to do it.
I have checked out the Anylogic website and it's tutorials (They are too lengthy).
fortunately for you, i have developed an AS/RS example that is a ready-made downloadable model for you, available at https://cloud.anylogic.com/model/1f5c7d1f-8782-40ac-957d-d3ba97bf6bf0?mode=SETTINGS
In general, when you want a model example, the first thing you should do is check the anylogic cloud, and if you are lucky the model is downloadable. Unfortunately, most people don't share
It really depends on what type of ASRS you are modeling (shuttle versus unit load) and level of detail you need. Do you need specific slotting and inventory tracking, or simplier black box delays with the assumption inventory is always available? The level of detail you need depends on questions you are asking, and should be addressed prior to starting development. If results from the model are critical and urgent, and you need anything more than simple black box delays, you should consider outsourcing to an experienced professional until you can get your AnyLogic skills up to speed.

Looking for an example to execute milkrun in last mile

I am a beginner to this Anylogic software. I have tried some ways to make my model work for milkrun in last mile delivery. I used statecharts and modeling library in constructing the logic, but have not successfully cracked the logic. I have looked into anylogic cloud, it helped in learning bits and pieces. But could not find a model in this case. Any ideas or example models would be much helpful to realize my model.
Thank you:)
There are lots of supply chain-type models in the examples that ship with the tool. You can also check out YouTube for in-depth tutorials, here is one that could be relevant to your case.

How to process with ABM

In my bachalar work I am supossed to build an model of terrorist attack in Tokyo in 1995 (sarin gas). I have never done heard anything about ABM until about a month ago. Now I am even able to do some simple models.
However I would welcome some ideas about how to even start with the model. I only need to model one train of 5 from the attack. Should I start with the environment, defining agents...? And is there anybody who could provide me kind of a support if I need to know something?
Also should I model everything with statecharts, or is It possible to model the train with Trail library using flowcharts and passengers with statecharts?
best idea is to check out the example models that come with AnyLogic (Menu/Help/Example Models).
Get a feeling for a good number and start pulling together techniques and items that were used to achieve similar things.
Otherwise, your questions are far too broad for StackOverFlow, I am afraid.
Best modelling advise in a nutshell: Start (super)simple and add features as you go along (and your skills increase)

matlab object detection and tracking

I m doing a research project on "Object detection using my a digital camera".
Some suggestion on how to build and program the Matlab code.
In particular, I have a picture of one object, say a screen of my laptop. Than I rotate the laptop and I shot a new picture. I would like to know the difference on the position of the screen. I think I can use the edge detection after a subtraction of the two images but... it is quite difficult for me to implement it.

That largely depends on the goal you want to achieve. Can you be more specific? Are you streaming the frames or are you tracking offline?

There are many ways to do this, and an extensive litterature on the subject. I don't believe anyone would write up the equivalent of a survey paper on the subject as an answer on StackOverflow. Why don't you get started with an object tracking survey paper and then ask a more precise question?
hi, I m doing a reasearch project on "Object detection using my a digital camera". [...] I think i can use the edge detection after a subtraction of the two images but...is quite difficult for me to implement it.
What is your question? Are you asking us if this is a good way to track objects? Are you asking us if this is a new approach and has never been done? Are you asking someone to implement it for you?
Object tracking is a hard problem. I doubt that technique would succeed in any but the most basic scenarios. However, if you look at a survey paper, you might be pointed to a paper that already implemented this an presents results. Finally, I think you should brush up your programming skills because most (successful) object tracking techniques are not trivial to implement. If you don't want to program it yourself, there are online services where you can hire people. StackOverflow is not one of those places.
EDIT: I could deduce that you're new to both programming (in MATLAB) and in object tracking, hence in my answer. Don't mis-understand me, I'm trying to help. Let me re-phrase my suggestions as list:
Your question is far too general. You will get a lot more help from the SO community if you ask more precise questions for two reasons: A) general question result in general answers; and B) the way you asked your question could easily be interpreted as "someone, please do my work for me" even if that's not what you think you're asking.
Get acquainted with the problem domain. To ask more precise questions, you must be close to your answer. For good knowledge on the "object detection and tracking", find a good survey paper. If you're starting off on a research project, people in your lab should be of help to point you to a good one.
Learn to program simple things first. All of the most proficient (effective and efficient) programmers I've ever met struggled with the bubble sort when they were introduced to sorting. None of them would have been able to program an object detection algorithm as a first assignment. Get yourself a good image processing book that has exercises in MATLAB, go through execises one by one. If you can't do them all, choose those that are relevant to what you're trying to accomplish.

Understanding a software system

I recently became part of a complex embedded project team for which I will be developing a part. For the part which is my responsibility there is only old code and not much documentation.
I am keen to make a good start but shyness and fear of appearing stupid makes it difficult to ask questions. How to ask questions ?
I wanted to ask what techniques do you guys use to understand a project ? I mean there are of lots of technical details which one must remember and keep in context in order to make a design. Your read the code and get some facts but how to move ahead ?
For instance you read the code and the document(s) and get some facts A and fact B . How to reach suitable conclusion X for which you may or may not have needed to take into account facts C and D also ?
Code-reading can be particularly difficult if there is not enough documentation and the code is poorly documented and badly written. I guess the best way now is to find the entry point of the code, and slowly understand its flows and what data it uses. I would keep a look out for
Structure - are there any partitioning of entities/system? Where in the code (and how) do they communicate with each other?
Data - what sort of structures are used to hold the global data? How are the data accessed and saved?
If you are doing C or C++, it is also important to find out how memory is handled and for C++ (and other related non-managed memory OOP languages, I guess), how are object ownership contained.
Since it is an embedded project, are there any non-standard code or coding constructs used?
Reading the code is balanced by writing the documentation.
Write the documentation that your replacement will need. Imagine someone who knows less than you. Explain it for that person.
When you cannot explain something to your replacement, ask questions.
When you have a complete description, you will "know" the system.
And you will have produced complete documentation.
You don't mention what kind of tests exist. If there are test cases, modify them and trace how this would affect the end result.
You might want to look at diagrams which give the entire picture of the logical structure of the system, like, for example, looking at class diagrams in an OOP system would be of great help. Looking at the design diagrams of large and complex apps gives you a clear understanding of how the internal modules of the system are organized and this way its makes the task of figuring out what functionality does a particular piece of code does much much easier. In the absence of diagrams, you're best bet would be to start from the entry point of the app, like main() and proceed from there while you draw(literally draw or write down on paper) your own conclusions about the system(this way you can have your own documentation) and ask your peers if they're correct.
My experience is that it's best to start with some kind of task -- a bug fix or other small change. That will provide focus to your learning. I find it hard to read through a binder or sift through pages of source code or documentation without having a way to apply it.
If you have a sandbox where you can play with changes that you've made without messing up the code base, that can be even more helpful.
