Yeoman error after clicking download button on new node serverless app - ibm-cloud

I have created a a new node serverless app (the lite one), created a DB in the associated cloudant service and clicked the download code button.
It spun for a while and then I got the following error
[SCAFF] Yeo generation failed due to error in generating a generator.
Anyone got a hint on how to debug/resolve please?
I'm just following the Knowledge guide to get familiar with the tooling.
Thanks,
M.

This is what I tried and worked.
I navigated to https://cloud.ibm.com/developer/appservice/apps and created a NodeJS + Cloudant serverless app in Washington DC region and I am able to download the code.
Alternatively, You can also download the app code from the CLI using the following command
ibmcloud dev code <APPLICATION_NAME>

Error Accessing Bluemix Node-RED Editor

I'm using Node-RED Starter to build my app. My app URL can be accessed here.
should appear on my browser, but I got an
instead.
The app however seems to be working fine on my dashboard. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.
Your app is throwing a 500 error which basically means that your app is very much broken. How did you build it? Which starter did you use?
As you are running in the IBM Cloud, I would drop what you already have, and recreate using the starter from the IBM Cloud catalog. Unless of course if that is what you used to create it in the first place. In which case as per the other suggestions look at the server side logs, from the options on IBM Cloud for your application.

How to connect the back end and the front end and use the Discovery API in IBM cloud app services?

I am very new to using APIs so please excuse me. I am currently using a Python-Django App service from IBM cloud app services and the IBM Watson Discovery resouce. I have followed all the steps given here:
https://console.bluemix.net/docs/apps/tutorials/tutorial_web.html#before-you-begin
I have a machine that has docker and so the app got built successfully. However I am lost as to how I am supposed to get the front end ( which I am writing in bootstrap, javascript ) to connect to the backend and link the API.
EDIT
For example : I want my app to accept documents, feed them in Discovery, extract the keywords and sentiments and display them in the UI. How do I know what to access from the server side code and what to link where in the UI.
It is a very broad question but its a compulsory project I need to do and I am clueless. Pleaassee Help !
Before you try to integrate an API, you will need to be familiar with Python and Django. If that is not the case, then you really need to go through a series of tutorials.
Then before deploying to the cloud, you will be better off running your Django app locally on your laptop. Use pip to install the watson-developer-cloud pypi module and use the API documentation to build the python code in your Django application - https://www.ibm.com/watson/developercloud/discovery/api/v1/python.html?python#query
If none of this makes sense, then you need to brush up on your knowledge of Python, Pip, and Django.
When you have the app running on your machine, then you will be ready to package it up into either a docker image or cloud foundry container and deploy to the cloud.

IBM Internet of Things Platform Starter application create fails with BXNUI0005E

I am trying to create an application in IBM Internet of Things Platform Starter and getting following message:
BXNUI0005E: The 'xxxxxx' app wasn't created because a problem occurred contacting Cloud Foundry.
Try again later. If you see this message again, go to the IBM Cloud status page to check whether a service or component has an issue. If the problem continues, go to IBM Cloud Support.
I've had exactly the same problem. It's usually because you've gone over the limit of app / database instances for your account.
In my case, I was using NodeRed. I created one instance successfully, deleted it, but then couldn't create another. It turned out that the first app had created an empty database instance and the second one was trying to do the same. Deleting the database from my dashboard resolved the problem.

Cannot Sign In to OpenShift using Eclipse IDE

I am currently learning OpenShift and would like to experiment with a few examples. I have created an OpenShift account (using my github account as a login) and was able to create a new project and deploy an application online. Note that I'm using OpenShift Online (Developer Preview) which I think is OpenShift 3.
Now, I'd like to import that OpenShift project into Eclipse IDE. However, I cannot sign in to connect to the online server.
I tried both the versions 2 and 3 of the OpenShift server unsuccessfully. Attached is a screenshot of the error I'm getting
As shown on the screenshot, I can get a token when clicking the retrieve link (which does take me to the OpenShift site, with a token generated. This shows that eclipse does connect to https//console.preview.openshift.com).
I've also tried authentication with both username and password, leading to the same outcome.
Any help is appreciated.
This error is because you are using the free version. You need to use you console address in 'Server:' that you get after clicking the 'Open Web Console' button that you get after logging in to openshift.
This url should be something like this: "https://console.starter-us-east-1.openshift.com/console/catalog". You may use just "https://console.starter-us-east-1.openshift.com". And then click 'Next', it should work.

quickstart Apache DayTrader

I am trying to get the Apache DayTrader benchmarking app on OpenShift quickstart working see link https://openshift.redhat.com/app/console/application_type/quickstart!17609
I have a free 3 gear openshift online account and the quickstart starts up but then after a while posts the message
"Application creation is taking longer than expected. Please wait a few minutes, then refresh this page."
Waiting and refreshing the page shows the whole application rolled back and removed from the gear.
I suspected it might need a larger gear but I can build an openshift gear manually with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6 and PostgreSQL 9.2 as per requirements in a small gear
I tried manually building the application via jboss developer studio and downloaded the git locally, imported it as a general project, converted to Mavern project, started openshift application wizard and choose the jbosseap-6 app type with postgresql-9.2 cartridge and went through using the existing daytrader project.
That all seemed to work and the app was created in my openshift online gear
Cartridges
JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6
Status: Started
Gears
1 small, Storage 1 GB PostgreSQL 9.2
the account webpage then displays
"Welcome to your JBoss EAP application on OpenShift"
but I cant seem to access the daytrader index.jsp or app from there.
If anyone has successfully built Daytrader on openshift either manually or via quickstart could they please post the steps.
I am just starting with jboss and the solution may be an absurdly simple oversight on my part.
Much appreciated John
I am assuming this is not your cartridge. If that is the case, you should try logging an issue on the github project that feeds into that quickstart here: https://github.com/gvijayar/daytrader
The creator of the cartridge should be able to help you out.
I posted ( some time ago ) the issue in github for gvijayar but there has been no reponse. I have managed to build via command line as per "Deploying from Source" making allowance for the error.
The application name needs to change in the create command to be consistent across all the commands you list.
ex:
rhc app create -a daytradereap -t jbosseap-6 -g large
but the quickstart still fails consistently.
