If I copy an API/content type from one Strapi project to another it works, but if I try to add another Content type I get an error.
I use MongoDB. I used mongodump/mongorestore to get transfer the data. The databases are named the same.
Error message: "an error has occured"
The new content type is listed under CONTENT TYPES on the navigation bar, but not within content type builder.
What is the correct way to copy an api?
Detailed description:
Computer 1: Startet new strapi project with "strapi new". Choose Mongodb. Added content types after "strapi start". Created content types and data. Testet and used together with react. Mongodumped db. Uploaded project to private git repository. Git ignored node_modules folder.
Computer 2: Cloned git repository to another computer where I also use strapi. Yarn to install dependencies. Yarn is uptodate. Startet strapi successfully. Needed to add new username/password. Same as used on the other computer. The content of the content types were empty. Mongorestore to db. Content types now have the same data as in computer 1. Needed to set roles & permission because that was not transferred. Testet together with react. Tried to add a new content type thru content type builder. First noticed in green something like "content type saved successfully". Normally this takes longer. Reloaded page and error occured.

I cannot figure out how to use the ftp-kr extension for VS Code properly. I have read and re-read the GitHub Wiki and the README documentation and cannot find any other help for my issue. I posted this question to the project Issues on GitHub but have yet to receive a response.
ftp-kr is just a simple extension for editing files via FTP that are located on a remote server. Many other users seem to be using the extension with no issue.
I installed the extension, and then I successfully edited the connection settings (in ftp-kr.json) and successfully made a connection to the remote server I am trying to edit files on.
I opened the FTP-KR: EXPLORER pane to look at all of the files on the server, but if I double-click any of the files to open them and then try to edit them, I am unable to type and just get a warning in VS Code that says "Cannot edit in read-only editor".
I have tried right-clicking on files and clicking the "Download This" button, thinking that maybe I need to download a local copy of the files to edit before uploading the changes. However, whenever I click the "Download This" option on any file in the ftp-kr Explorer, it just gives me an error message that says "[file_name] is not in remotePath".
I tried running the >ftp-kr: Download All command, but it just spits out a notice that says "Nothing to DO".
How do I edit files located on the remote server and save those changes to the server?
P.S. I have tried the solutions found in this question but unfortunately none of them seem to work. Particularly, "code-runner: Run in terminal" is not in my settings and "Edit in Local" is not a context menu item that appears in my editor.
After a number of months, I finally have a solution to this thanks to the developer eventually responding on GitHub. There are a few things going on here.
Any file that a user wishes to modify must be downloaded as a local copy on the user's machine first and then that copy can be uploaded to the webserver via FTP.
ftp-kr cannot auto-download individual files. (Either when they are double-clicked on or through any other method.) It can only download entire directories, and those directories can be changed by using the localPath and ignore options in the configuration file, then stopping and restarting the ftp connection.
The "Download This" context menu option that appears is a piece of non-implemented code. It will not do anything.
>ftp-kr: Download All is the preferred way (by the developer's intent) to download the remote files onto the user's computer. The fact that it was returning an error before was a bug which has now been fixed.
Confusingly, the user can view the filenames and context of every file on the remote file system using a convenient tree view, you just cannot simply download any of those files individually.
In all, this plugin does not provide the functionality that I hoped it would have. (Namely, being able to easily download, modify, and upload individual files.) So I know how to properly use it, I will just be switching to a different plugin for my purposes.
I am trying to sign the plugin I am working on, but no matter what I have tried it always says grafana is unable to load it because it is “modified”.
I made a brand new backend datasource plugin, ran the basic yarn install and build commands, then the go and mage commands from the readme, then signed it using the docs procedure for the private key, and nothing else. Still says its modified.
Even checked that the hashes of the files in the manifest were the same as what the manifest had, but no matter what it is always marked as modified.
Discovered and fixed the issue. So the issue was with an img/logo.svg path being "", but I couldn’t modify it in the manifest file by hand after the signature process since that would make it invalid. And resigning would make the \ appear again. So the simple fix is removing the img folder and moving the logo.svg to the /src folder with the other files. Made the change in the logo paths set in the src/plugin.json as well. Then when plugin is signed the manifest file just has logo.svg instead of img\logo.svg and it passes and is viewable from grafana dashboard.
Here is a link to the grafana forum post where we went through this issue in more detail: https://community.grafana.com/t/signed-backend-plugin-keeps-throwing-modified-signature-error/39687
Using Xcode File/Swift Packages/Add Package Dependency menu option I am able to add a local package by giving the url as file:///Users/saran/Desktop/Temp/NetworkUtility
Since it takes absolute path in my machine, would affect team development when a team member checkout my commit.
Is there a way I can mention the file url as relative path to the depending local package.
Having my consuming app in a folder sibling to NetworkUtility
I tried file://$(SRCROOT)/../NetworkUtility, but only getting popup "An unknown error occurred"
Not sure from which directory it is trying to resolve.
Any help is much appreciated.
I installed a copy of a TYPO3 project. So, I'm using an existing TYPO3 database.
When running the home page of the site, I get the 'standard error':
Service Unavailable (503)
The page is not configured! [type=0][]. This means that there is no TypoScript object of type PAGE with typeNum=0 configured.
More information regarding this error might be available online.
which refers to following site: https://wiki.typo3.org/Exception/CMS/1294587217
But when I modify the setup of the template of the root as given in the link. I get an empty page with "HELLO WORLD" and the whole website is gone.
The old root setup code was:
config.contentObjectExceptionHandler = 0
page.meta.description.data = page:description
page.meta.keywords.data = page:keywords
How can I solve this problem without losing the rest of the website? Using TYPO3 8.7
Addition to the db install I also copied the extension folders to the typo3conf/ext folder and edited the PackageStates.php with the path to the extensions.
I see the extensions in the extensions tab the status is 'local'.
1st: make sure you have the correct configuration of all domains (as it is a copy it can not run with the same domain, otherwise you will switch between servers unpredictably.
2nd: enter list mode and look for multiple template records in your web root page. Multiple records will result in ignoring all but one record. maybe you just edit the wrong one. Normally the content is not lost but only inaccessible for the moment.
3rd: have you activated all the extensions which are active in the source installation? especially any site extension, which probably include the configuration for the TypoScript page object.
4th: you can use the TSOB (TypoScript Object Browser) and the template analyzer to view the active or resulting typoscript.
We have TFS version control in which the following folder structure is adopted.
The following is the folder structure that we use:
In the above image, delta is the TFS server name, TempProjects is the project collection and DetBarShapeEngine is one of the team project. Main is the branch name and ProjectSource is a special folder under which all files managed by development team are stored. We label at the ProjectSource level and hence it is a kind of root folder for every project source.
When I ran tf labels /collection:"https://delta:443/tfs/TempProjects" /owner:*, I saw a huge list of labels from all the project collections including DetBarShapeEngine.
I modified the above command line to include the team project in the project collection URL tf labels /collection:"https://delta:443/tfs/TempProjects/DetBarShapeEngine" /owner:*, I receive:
TF31002: Unable to connect to this Team Foundation Server .... ....
Technical information (for administrator): The remote server returned
an error: (404) Not Found.
I tried increasing the depth of the path of the project collection URL till ProjectSource, but I still get the same 404 error.
Question:
How do I get labels of a sub folder under a team project?
Note:
I cannot change this folder structure for any reason what so ever.
We use TFS 2013.
After struggling a lot, I stumbled on a blog showing sample about using scope in some other command. I tried to use that scope string to TF labels command and it was a success!
Here is the command line that I used:
tf labels /collection:"https://delta:443/tfs/CadsProjects" *#$/DetBarShapeEngine/Main/ProjectSource /owner:*
