i installed and configured open project on my ubuntu 18.04 server. I have one little problem, maybe someone can help me:
I configured a SMTP Server in the email notification settings. Testmail and sending email notification is working. But images are not visible inside the email. I only see a boarder with a question mark as you can see in the picture.
When I open the email in the editor and decode the base64 string I can see that the image url show to "/openproject/api/v3/attachments/10/content". I think the hostname is missing, but the hostname is configured correctly in the settings.
Whats the problem here.
It looks like it is (still) a bug but work has been started today.

i wanna obfuscate an email address to prevent spam-bots from sniffing it on my contact page.
I tried to use html_email function in href but the email address remained unchanged.
E-mail: My email
Anyone have any idea why the html_email function doesn't work.
Maybe another solution to obfuscate a email address in october?
It is working. If you look at the source file it is obfuscated. I believe bots sniff the source file. You are looking at the rendered html which displays the email correctly. Also if you use google chrome you can do ctrl-u to look at the source file. Firefox I just right click and click on view source and etc with more browsers.
I am using mailchimp embedded sign up form. It displays Email Account, First Name and Last Name, but captcha is not showing. I enabled captcha from Settings->List Name and Defaults.
What other steps do I need? Captcha is not showing in Preview Mode Option.
Please help, getting lot of fake emails. Double opt in is also enabled.
Had the same problem. Make sure its V2(checkbox) NOT V3. Documentation here: https://mailchimp.com/help/about-recaptcha-for-signup-forms/
The Sign-up forms have invisible not checkbox re-captcha.

You can find the summary in the below image.
I came here looking for an answer. Followed the instructions to enable the reCaptcha. After reloading website could not see it. After finally trying to submit the form it took me to a mailchimp external page with the reCaptcha showing. Makes sense when you think about doing some kind of server side check for a reCaptcha with minimal installation fuss.
I've run into the same problem, and this is what I have found.
I set the url to https://s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/mc-validate.js, not sure if that helped, but it's one less spot for failure
You might need to announce somewhere to allow for pop-up's to be allowed on the page when the captcha shows. It seems that when that option is enabled that it opens up a new windows for the confirmation.
I'm currently trying to get my github pages site up and running.
I actually went through with the process about a month ago without a hitch.
I left it alone between now and then, but when I went to start messing with it again today, I found that the site wasn't publishing for some reason. I just get a "server DNS address could not be found" when I try to navigate to it.
I tried deleting the repo and recreating it, but that doesn't seem to work.
And of course, I've insured that the repo name matches my username (case-sensitive).
Additionally, I contacted Github support and they said that they could load the page just fine.
Here's the link if anyone would like to try it themselves.
EDIT: This is a "User" Page as opposed to a "Project" Page, so it shouldn't require a CNAME configuration.
Any ideas?
It looks like everything is working now. If you are still experiencing issues, please clarify a bit what it is you want to achieve.
In case you want to set up the site with a custom URL, you need to add a CNAME file to the repository. See the instructions here: https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-your-pages-site-repository/
I got a confluence 3.5 installation (but I am fine too, if you tell me there is such an option in 4.2). There is a share button that let you email a page to a bunch of recipients. Sadly all recipients are entered as BCC (or the email task is executed one time for every recipient). Problem: I want to let the recipients know to whom the page has been shared too.
I cannot believe that I could not find anyhting about that topic (just that description: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/E-mailing+a+Page). So, if this is a silly question for you confluence cracks out there, I am sorry, but happy, if you leave me a hint.
Thank you!
Yep, this was added in Confluence 4.2 and it's really handy!
Now the email you get shows an 'Also shared with' section that has the name and avatar of everyone else.
