Flutter keyboard gif support - flutter

I'm looking for a way to receive gifs from keyboards in Flutter. When I try to select a gif I get the following message in my application:
Appname doesn't support image insertion here

Inserting image and GIF using phones built-in keyboard is not yet supported in Flutter. In fact, there is an open GitHub ticket regarding this issue.
To summarize, Flutter's TextField, TextFormField or any text input boxes do not accept characters other than the ones specified in Unicode.
But according to this GitHub thread, you may explore using extended_text_field. It provides a widget named SpecialText and ImageSpan widget which could be use to add images in the text field (including GIFs).

How to add text label to a MapMarker? MapViewPins have poor perfomance apparently

I'd like to add custom markers with text labels on my map. I can use MapViewPins for this, but they "tremble" when map is being moved. Even one MapViewPin behaves like this in official Here example, so it is probably not an optimization issue.
When i load PNG image and use it as a MapMarker, it works perfectly. But i don't know how to add text to a marker.
I am using Here SDK for Flutter (Navigate Edition) 4.12.4.0 with Flutter 3.3.2
GIF below is an example. Cyan circles are MapMarkers, markers with icons and label are MapViewPins. Is there any solution to this problem?
Unfortunately, the MapViewPins, being widgets embedded in the MapView surface, need to be relocated to the fixed coordinates every time the map is interacted with by gestures, which is why you notice this "strange" behavior.
However, what you mention about using MapMarkers would be the best solution but in this case instead of using PNG files, you could use SVG files in which you enter the text you want to display.
There is currently no other way available to do what you mention using the HERE SDK (Navigate Edition).
Here is a link to our most up-to-date HERE SDK (Navigate Edition) documentation: https://developer.here.com/documentation/flutter-sdk-navigate/dev_guide/index.html

Create a shareable Image/ certificate in Flutter

In my Flutter app, I want to be able to create some kind of certificate of completion. The layout will be always the same, but picture and text in it should change. This certificate should be created in a jpg format, so I can share it with other apps.
Does anyone have an idea how this could be accomplished?
The only way I can imagine is that I create a Screen template where I put in text and picture, then let the phone take a screenshot and save that screenshot automatically. But this might lead to unwanted content in the picture and different image sizes. I have searched for Widgets/ ways to create an image in Flutter but could not find anything.
You will need to create a widget with constructors (Image and text).
Then use a flutter package called screenshot to capture the parent widget as image and save it to the users phone.

Can text in a Flutter web app be made searchable?

Problem:
When I run a Flutter app as a web app in a browser, I can use the browser's text search function Ctrl + F to search for text on the page. The search function finds all of the instances of the search term that are currently shown on screen, but it does not find all of the other instances of the text that are currently out of view.
Example:
In the example below I am searching for the word tile, which is used 8 times in total: 4 times in the blue tiles and another 4 times in the purple tiles.
However, when I search for the word tile, the browser only finds the 4 instances of the word that are currently shown on the screen at the time of the search. It ignores all instances of the word that are not rendered on the screen at the time of the search.
Documentation:
The Flutter and Dart documentation does not have any information on searchable text and I do not see any other similar widgets or properties available.
Attempts: I have tried using a SelectableText widget, but the same problem persists.
You can use element = document.getElementById('searchable_text') and element.textContent || a.innerText. See JavaScript tutorial on W3Schools.
Resources:
To create a list and assign it an Id, look at Get Started from Dart docs.
To select elements of the HTML document, read querySelector on Dart docs.

This is something not supported by Flutter web yet (tracked here https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/53585).
One workaround can be to provide an in-app search bar for list views.
As flutter draws everything on canvas in web, android and ios so far so it doesn't support it.Means whatever you see, Text, images, etc on any flutter app it is just the drawing made on canvas.
If you scroll your page to the bottom before making a search, you should be able to find all the records you expect.
I believe those contents are not in the DOM until they enter the buffer of your viewport.
Meaning, they don't exists to the browser almost until you see them on your screen.
As for infinite lists, Flutter generates the rest of the DOM objects of your page while you scroll.
After scrolling, I can search and find all the words I'm reading, I see them highlighted.
The browser in not able to center on it when hitting Return or UP and DOWN arrows.

Using contentEditable inside Flutter's webview

For an application I need a document that is able to record and display among each other any type (text, audio, video, HTML, maybe PDF) that the user enters or inserts.
At first I wanted to use a listview with different types of widgets (textfields, video via plugin, webview via plugin etc.), but it seemed much too complicated to me. For example, how could I have selected parts of a text field, the following image and parts of the next text field at the same time?
Actually, the document format that I need already exists: HTML. If you set the attribute "contentEditable" accordingly, it is not a big problem to let the user change the document in any way with the help of JS. And this is exactly my problem: If I use the Webview (Developer Preview) of the Flutter team (webview_flutter), the attribute "contentEditable" is apparently ignored. I can't mark text and no keyboard appears.
Am I doing something wrong or does the plugin not (yet) support this attribute? Otherwise, is there an alternative? I have to say that I am an absolute beginner in Flutter.

How to select text in DTAttributedTextView?

I'm using DTCoreText DTAttributedTextView in my app to highlight the urls in my text. My other criteria is to be able to select by tapping and holding similar to UITextView. However, DTAttributedTextView doesn't seem to to use a UITextView as a placeholder. Anybody has an idea how I can achieve this?
Thanks
That's a feature that's only available via the paid version of DTCoreText.
from the github page
This is useful for drawing simple rich text like any HTML document without having to use a UIWebView. For text selection and highlighting (as you might need for an Editor or Reader) there is the commercial DTRichTextEditor component which can be purchased in the Cocoanetics Parts Store.
