I am trying to set up a text widget in my flutter app, and have the value change based on other widgets.
I can only find tips on how to change a TextField, but I don't want this to be editable by the user, only by code.
I can't set the data value of the widget, because it's final.
Is there any way to make this work in Flutter?

I am using a DropdownButton in a Flutter app, and when you click it and the drop down appears, it overlays a webview that I'm using.
That all works perfectly, however webviews in Flutter, when run as a web app (which this is) trap all UI interactions and don't allow clicks to flow through to the Flutter UI elements.
There is a PointerInterceptor component that handles this perfectly, all I need to be able to do is wrap all of the DropdownMenuItems that appear inside of a single pointer interceptor (because if I individually wrap them then there is a really bad performance hit).
However - the DropdownMenuItems appear in the widget tree directly under the MaterialApp widget - and that is too high in the tree for me to wrap in a PointerInterceptor.
That is the reason that I want to know :
Is it possible to specify where in the widget tree the DropdownMenuItem widgets' appear when a DropdownMenuButton is clicked ?
I want to show my own page on dropdown button tap, then item selected on page should be set as dropdown button value.
So basically, I need DropdownButton without any popup on tap. When I use onTap still default popup will be shown, how to prevent that?
why you don't use a button instead? or you can try to create an Inkwell put a container on its child and make it look like a button and write your code inside Inkwell OnTap(){}
1- Pass null to items parameter to disable the button.
2- You'll notice icon's color will be grey with disabled button, you can change it by setting color of the icon you send to icon parameter or send color directly to iconDisabledColor parameter.
3- You'll not use value parameter, instead you'll just use hint to show both your hint and your value. and update it using your state management after you pick new value from your own page.
4- Wrap your DropdownButton with GestureDetector or InkWell to show your own page when you tap on the button.

I want to add a buttombar to my application Contains only just one text with background color .
I need it to write the copyright in my application, but I find just that I have to add At least a two-item

In your case you do not need a bottombar widget.
you can create a container with specific height and background color and center a text widget in the container.
If you are looking to add bottomNavigationBar with one item only you can just write your own widget in the bottom navigation bar like a Container and set a background of your choice and give it a child widget wrapped in an INKWELL or GESTUREDETECTOR and if it overlaps with the Phone's GUI you can wrap the inkwell with SAFEAREA widget
Here I added Stack widget in scaffold body. I added full screen image as background image and set edit text widget functionality on image.
I want to add Multiple Text Widget with delete and add widget functionality on button click in flutter. I mean when I Press on any particular Text widget it become enable and if I press on delete Icon, this particular selected widget delete on the stack widget.
How it could be possible in flutter? Any suggestion for it or I should use any other widget rather than Stack widget for this functionality.
Any idea of how I might place a widget under a text selection in flutter?
