Need to add Filter panels as a vizualation and combine it as one
Just drag and drop fields together. Remember that auto suggester can set chart in such a scenario just change to Table. In table you can make selections of all fields together,

I have 2 tables in my visualization. One is a list of tasks to be done, and one is a list of repairs that have been done at each location. I want to be able to filter the repairs table by the locations of the highlighted tasks. Ergo if you marked a task that takes place at location 1, the second table would filter to only show repairs for location 1. Is that something that's doable?
Thanks in advance
This is pretty easy to do. You need to create a relation on the Location column between your two tables (Data table properties, Relations tab). Then create a details visualization (right click on "parent" table and select details visualization). Because you have created the relation already, it will ask you which table you want to be the "child". After selecting which table, you will be able to click on the parent, and it will filter in the child table. Also note, using the right click menu is engaging the data limiting with marking, which you will be able to see in the properties dialog, data menu. You don't have to use the right click menu to setup details visualizations. It's just easy.
I've written a lot about how to use relations and column matches. See links below. Relations integrate filtering, which is what you want. Column matches integrate marking.

Is it possible to merge duplicates in a sapui5 smart table?
In a smarttable (with a responsive table) we are grouping values by supplier and would like to merge duplicated values into one cell to get a better readability of the responsive table.
Outside of Fiori elements (smarttable) this can be done in the column definition in XML using mergeDuplicates: true.
Should be possible to merge duplicates via SAP UI5 Visual Editor, the properties of controls are available there.
Not all properties are subject to change. Only properties that have been enabled for editing may be changed.
Best,
Shanir
I'm using the basic work item process in Azure DevOps.
If I look at my backlog without any filters, then it shows me a hierarchy, with epics as the top-level items, then issues and then work items.
If I filter this to only show items that are to do or doing, it shows them as a flat list, not a hierarchy.
Is there any way to see the items as a hierarchy, but filter out done items?
Update following Shayki Abramczyk's comment
The options button doesn't include an option to show parents...
Go to the Work Item Query tab and create a work item query. Configure it to Tree view and let it follow the parent/child relation.
You can filter on the top level (top part of the query editor) and the lower levels (bottom part of the query editor). Use the State in filter to select multiple states. You can't multi-select them in the UI, so typing is required:
PS: The , is the list separator in most languages, but sometimes you need to use ;.
If you want to see parents when ANY child leaf is still open, set the Filter: Match top-level items first to Filter: Match child-level items first.
To specify the order, add the Backlog Priority field to the query and use the table header to sort by it:
Or use the Sorting option in the "Choose Columns" fly-out:
Note: The exact field name differs per Process template. Backlog Priority is for the Scrum Template, Stackrank for CMMI and Agile and Basic:
An easy way to get started is to take the board view closest to what you want and save it as a work item query.
I have a table built with AG Grid which needs to display different columns depending on the type of data we give it. This is proving slightly difficult, as I can't find a proper interface in AG Grid which allows you setup new columns in existing column groups, and without blowing up user-driven changes (hidden columns, resizing, pinning, etc).
The biggest issue is that I can't figure out how to access column group definitions.
gridOptions.api.getAllColumns()
This function from aggrid does not directly provide column groups, just the child columns. Looping through the columns via this function, they have a parent property, but that does not include the coldef for the column group, which means there isn't even really a way to reconstruct the coldef based on the data you get from it (also, the parent property is private in typescript).
Here is a rough plunker, modified from one of the ag grid documentation examples which illustrates it
https://plnkr.co/edit/C8TrwlkFDg5O5V1RJkng?p=preview
I did try having all the columns present in the table at all times, and hiding them programmatically based on the incoming data, however that creates several issues with the default column show/hide functionality (you can manually show the invalid columns). Using the initial coldefs won't work too well either, since that will discard any modifications the user has made to the columns.
Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?
If I remove one Column using a sap.m.Table from a standard view the corresponding items are still available. The problem here is that the ordering is wrong after I delete a column here.
Lets say I want to delete the "Historie"-Column, the corresponding items are still available. How can I delete one column with the items of one column here?
The problem here looks like that:
As you can see in the picture below I have deleted some columns and also the "Historie"-Column. The corresponding items are still available.
How to solve this and delete the matching items here using sap.m.Table?
I tried to remove the Columns by removeColumn(oCol) from the API: sap.m.Table
I think this is a bug with sap.m.Table.
For your problem, you can use the visible property of column to hide the column from view. Though it will not remove the column from the table.
var oTable = this.byId('idTable');
var oDeleteColumn = oTable.getColumns()[0]; //fetch the column you want to hide
oDeleteColumn.setVisible(false);
removeColumn() removes the column only from the table's <column> aggregation, but not from the data.
If it is an option for you, than use Table Personalization:
Table personalization can be used to modify the display and settings
of a table.
It is a UI pattern that is used to change one or more of the following
attributes:
Visibility of columns
Order of columns
Sorting
Grouping
Filtering
