I am using Visual studio Code and when entering a new code a space bar triggers insertion of suggested auto complete. (which is the default behaviour). I still want auto complete just with tab or enter only. Note I have the C# extension. When I press a space bar I would like a space.
Is there a way to get this behaviour?
Have looked through all the Settings and see that the Tap is optional but not the space bar.
Go to file > preferences > keyboard shortcuts and look for acceptSelectedSuggestion to disable this shortcut.

Is it possible to get tabs instead of the select list when using multiple terminals from the "integrated terminal" window?
Terminal "tabs" appear to be coming to v1.56. See Terminal Tabs release notes. They are vertical tabs - always visible, if you want, in a resizable view to the left or right. Not like traditional tabs across the top like a browser though.
Tabs in the terminal [are] available as a preview feature and can be
enabled with the following setting:
"terminal.integrated.tabs.enabled": true
The tabs view is a split pane to the right of two split terminals. It
contains icons and labels for each terminal instance.
When enabled, the new tabs view will only show by default when there
is at least 2 terminals.
We've tried to mostly align how the new tabs behave with how the
explorer works, here are some of the other behaviors:
Double clicking the empty space will create a new terminal.
Double clicking the sash will toggle the tabs view width between the "ideal" size which displays all the titles without truncating and a
narrow view that shows only the icons.
The tabs can be moved to the left side using the terminal.integrated.tabs.location setting.
Various other configuration settings available under terminal.integrated.tabs.
Terminal Statuses
Along with tabs, we have introduced the concept of statuses to the
terminal. A terminal can have many statuses, each of which represents
a state the terminal can be in temporarily, with the highest severity
one being displayed next to the tab. Status icons appear to the right
of the terminal title in the tabs view. On hover, details of the
status and any associated actions are presented.
On a tab associated with a terminal that requires a relaunch, a
yellow triangle with an exclamation mark is to the right of the
terminal title.
For now, these states are supported:
Relaunch needed: A warning icon status is used if extensions want to change a terminal's environment.
Disconnected: A plug icon status is used when the terminal loses its connection with its process.
Bell: A bell icon appears when the bell is enabled via the terminal.integrated.enableBell setting and the terminal bell
triggers.
We plan to support task states soon so that task run status is
available at a glance even without activating the tab.

If enough space, you can press it multiple times. However, as always, extensions might be more sophisticated for the job.
They are called "Terminal Tabs" and you can un-check them to turn them off. Go to your VS code setting User->Features->Terminal and look for the section called "Integrated > Tabs:Enabled" and un-check it.

How can I make this window bigger in VS Code?
I cant see the continued of the methods
Goto the View menu, then Appearance and Zoom In (Ctrl++). This will make the quick suggestions window bigger.
Afterwards, in the Settings.json you can reduce the "editor.fontSize" again until it fits your needs.
You can also try Full screen mode along with other options.
Press Ctrl+K and then Z to open editor in full screen without explorer and terminal, etc.
And you can use Ctrl+B to show/hide side bar and Ctrl+J to show terminal and console panel.
I often double-click to select followed by ctrl+c to copy. I am finding in vscode that ctrl press with the mouse over a word can perform an action. In some cases it selects the whole line, and in others it jumps to the definition of what is underneath. Is there a way to turn this off?
Note that if you move the mouse cursor off the word then it appears the action is not performed.
You could click on Visual Studio code->Preferences->KeyBoard Shortcuts. Keyboard Shortcuts page opens up. You could change any of the keyboard short cuts, by click on edit icon on the left as shown below
You can change the behavior of these features or disable them altogether by going to Tools > Options > Text Editor.

Tab key is not working for abbreviation in visual studio code.I have tried lot.How can I fix the problem?I am frustrated.Thinking of using Bracket instead of visual studio code.
In my case
Using (Ctrl + M) return Tab button to its normal working status.
I think you may be asking about this setting:

That is set to false by default, change it to true.
Don't change any keyboard shortcut or something else. You should change the language mod right bottom on the editor. It was selected javascript by default. You should change with Javascript React after that this changes all emmets suggestions is working.
For Visual Studio code version 1.33, go to File > Preferences > Settings Search for tabcompletion and by default it is off, select on, that is it, you are done.
Pressing Ctrl+M did not disable the mode for me, however the right side of the bar along the bottom of vs-code shows Tab Moves Focus as enabled, which you can click to disable.
