I am new to the sage 50 and not able to find any proper documentation on this. I have created account in sage 50 also registered developer and have developerId and applicationId. According to this documentation "http://qa-developer-portal-50cloud.sageaccountantscloud.com/how-to/" created passcode but not able to find the option in account to use this passcode.
The passcode needs to be entered into the Sage 50Cloud application in:
Settings->Sage Data Integration Settings->Add Integration
This should then send a call back to your application if you have registered the callback url or an email to your developer account if you have not.

I'm currently working on an IOS app and I'm using Firebase to deal with all the logging in and authentication.
I would like to set up email verification but every tutorial online says that my Dynamic Link needs to be registered in Xcode as an "Associated Domain". It doesn't seem I can do that without a developer account which I don't want to buy just yet
Is there any way that I can set up email verification without paying for a developer account?
Thank you,
Ethan
You can use Firebase Authentication's email verification without setting up an associated domain The only difference is that in that case you can't automatically re-open the app when the user clicks the link, as that requires the domain association. So the user will have to (re) open the app themselves, but aside from that email verification itself will work fine.
We are trying to implement a google home action and it needs access to customer's email.
I can see the documentation on this page mentioned we need to have explicit consent from the user. https://developers.google.com/actions/policies/general-policies
Just wondering what sort of consent do we need to implement in order to get customer's email?
Can I please get a sample consent?
Thanks,
Yihan
You will need to implement Account Linking in some form. If you have an existing service that gets their email address, you need to link the Action to the account they have established on your service already.
If you don't have an existing service, you can take advantage of Google Sign In for Assistant, which is a streamlined way you can get permission to access their Google Profile and, if they have one, their registered email address.
When I do a Paypal API signature request under business profile, the generated api is using my old website ---whateverAPI.my-old-website.com
I've updated all of my business information and see no instances of the old url in my paypal account or the developer or sandbox accounts.
I do not have the old login information for developer area where I created the original API information as it was changed to my new login/business.
I need to change the URL associated with my account so the api generated has the apicode.new-website.com
I know this is a low level expertise for most of you compared to what you are coding but I am completely stuck and have tried everything I can think of.
Thanks for taking the time to read!
When the API is first requested on an account, it is generated based on the email address associated with the account at the time. Even if you remove the email address and request new API credentials, it will still use that original email address. There is no need for concern, you only set this in your API call or in your shopping cart to use. Buyers are not going to see it or anything, and it's not something you would regularly share or have to use all that often. Once you set it in your code, you don't really mess with it again unless you need to set up the API credentials again.
So I was able to test CreateAndSend Successfully in sandbox, and have now moved my credentials to the live versions.
I created a new business account for using the live version, and have gotten my api credentials for it.
Replaced API ID,PASS,SIGNATURE with those credentials.
Connecting to svcs.paypal.com/Invoice/CreateAndSendnvoice.
and an error I'm getting back is user is not allowed to perform this action.
I set the merchant and payeremail to my email (I tried the paypal email and then the api1 email)
I was wondering if my paypal account needs to be verified to do this API call.
Thank you.
Make sure that you have a live app id and that it is approved for this feature.
Following up on this. Having my business account verified fixed the "user is not allowed to perform this action" problem I was having.
I have created an app on developer.paypal.com
But my app status shows:
Status: Need more info
When i try to click to accepts payment, the site shows the message:
At least one capability must be turned ON.
Update:
Hardly discovered that the problem is in support to other countries. The rest api currently only works for the United States
Is this for your classic API app or access to REST credentials?
There is a messaging system through the classic API app site that you can use to respond to inquiries from the App Review team.
When you set up your account to submit apps did you add a first and last name? There is an issue with users without that information included being unable to submit an app.
