I would like to override a method of TYPO3 system extension "instal" -> Class TYPO3\CMS\Install\SystemEnvironment\Check with my own class VENDOR\Examples\Xclass\Backend\Check but it's not working.
Other classes in the system extesion for example as TYPO3\CMS\Backend\Controller\LoginController or TYPO3\CMS\Backend\Template\DocumentTemplate can I without problems with the help of XLASS overwrite.
It is generally possible to overwrite the install tools classes from own extension?

This is not possible as the class is not called via GeneralUtility::makeInstance. Furthermore it is also stated in the class:
#internal This class is only meant to be used within EXT:install and
is not part of the TYPO3 Core API.

I recently started programming with Zend Framework.I want to change module name, controller name and action name of a module in my framework through coding, while coding in the same framework.
Its name is Application(module & controller) and I want to change it to Institute. Is this possible through coding?
I searched through Google for help, but either i couldn't find it or understand it properly. Any help would be appreciated.
This is really just a case of renaming things:
Update all namespaces from Application to Institute in all the classes in the module including the Module.php
Update the name of the controller and it's entry in config/module.config.php
Make sure you update the name of your view directory if you have one in the module, ie view/application/index etc to view/institute/index and make sure you update the entry in module.config.php to the same path
Update name of Application directory to Institute
Update the name in the array of modules in modules.config.php or if you are using an earlier version application.config.php from under the modules key.

This can be run like

I've only done renaming the module here and renaming the namespace in the Module.php
to finish this off you would need to recursively find all .php files in the Application directory and loop over applying the string replace (which should be improved really). Then you could update the view and application level config too with similar logic and using the steps above.

There was a lot of problem in the use of serviceLocator in ZF2, Zend tech' did a great job by removing the serviceLocatorAware from the framework, and remove the serviceManager from controllers.
Why ?
Just because some entry and experienced developpers used it in an ugly way, and way too much.
From my point of view, the serviceLocator is meant to be used only in factories.
That's why i keep advising other developper to create factories, without using anonymous function.

You can do a factory for almost all of your component, even form, you just need to declare those as factories in your config like this :

Your last error means that your controller is not correctly instanciated, you not give the LoginForm instance, maybe because you didn't create a factory ? Is your controller declared as an invokables ?
For an in depth discussion on deprecating the ServiceLocatorAwareInterface, please read this article by Matthew Weier O'Phinney. Basically, you should avoid hidden dependencies in your controllers by simply setter injecting them through factories as mentioned previously by Hooli.

This error appears because yii\web\View class simply does not have the method beginWidget().
For working with forms in Yii2 use ActiveForm widget.

1) is the class included before you call it?
2) Are you creating an instance of the class and calling the class from that instance variable?

Not possible out of the box, all magento front-end forms are hard coded. As you can see in the class you provided it is part of the Adminhtml module (Mage_Adminhtml_Block_Widget_Form), which is for the administration dashboard within magento.
The amount of development to integrate a form class like in your code is not worth the time or flexibility of a hardcoded front-end form ... in most cases. If the majority of your continued development revolved around forms, then I'd reconsider building out abstract form classes to help in the creation of your forms via the controller.
On a higher note, Magento does provide a fairly decent javascript validation system for your front-end.
You should look into Zend_Form, which came around after Magento/Varien's original form implementation.

create Data.php in models directory and add this simple class

You need to setup a resource Autoloader in your Bootstrap, something like this:
