I am opening an existing Excel file using SpreadsheetGear, using the following code:
SpreadsheetGear.IWorkbook xlBook = SpreadsheetGear.Factory.GetWorkbook(fileName, System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture);
xlBook.SaveAs(fileNameCSV, SpreadsheetGear.FileFormat.CSV);
This works, but the saved CSV file contains the wrong sheet.
Can anyone help with a code snippet on how to open an Excel file in SpreadsheetGear, then save only a SPECIFIC sheet to a CSV file.
Please note I am working with SpreadsheetGear and want a solution for that library. Thanks!
The IWorksheet interface includes a SaveAs(...) method for just this purpose:
using SpreadsheetGear;
using System.Globalization;
...
IWorkbook xlBook = Factory.GetWorkbook(fileName, CultureInfo.CurrentCulture);
xlBook.Worksheets["My Sheet"].SaveAs(fileNameCSV, FileFormat.CSV);
I'll also mention that there is also an IRange.SaveAs(...) method if you want to save just a particular range to CSV / UnicodeText (tab-delimited).

I'm using TCPDF to create two separate reports in different parts of my website. I would like that, in the end of the first report, the second report should be loaded.
It's different than import a PDF file, because the second report is also generated by TCPDF. Is there a way to do this?
I assume from your question that what you ultimately want to provide is one PDF file that consists of the first PDF concatenated with the second PDF.
One quick and dirty solution is to utilize the pdftk command line PDF processor and call it from within your PHP code using the exec() function. The pdftk command has many features and concatenating files is only one of them, but it does an awesome job. Depending on your hosting situation, this may or may not be an option for you.
The other option would be to use FPDI to import the two PDF files and concatenate them within your PHP code and then send the concatenated version to the user.

Given that you're already using TCPDF, importing the pre-existing file that you want to concatenate with the one you've just created shouldn't be too difficult.
Just add FPDI to your project/composer from:

FPDI support all the methods of tcpdf, just used new FPDI() instead new tcpdf() the result will be the same in your report, after you create your report marge the files with the code from this page:

I am working on an experiment that take a lot of data samples and save it to different video files. For example, I take data and save it to a file called "slowmotion.avi" and then I take another set of data and save it to another file called "normalspeed.avi".
I am trying to find a way that I could change the name of file being saved without editing the code. The way I am using right now makes me have to open the code and change the name of the file directory within the code and then save the code. I want to make it a lot faster and easier to use.
I have tried the following code to fix this problem but it doesn't work.

vidObj = VideoWriter('%3.1f.avi\n',graph);

A possible solution:
graph=input('Graph of experiment: ','s');
vidObj = VideoWriter([graph,'.avi']);
The 's' in the input() function indicates that the expected input is a string, and [graph,'.avi'] simply concatenates both strings.

Is it possible to generate xlsx using webutil(Text_io) or by using java beans?

In my opinion and experience it is best using UTL_File to generate text file then open it with Excel. You can use Text_IO also. If I find the example I will post it.

The trick in the code sample that you have mentioned to dynamically generate an Excel file is based on the fact that documents can be converted from Word/Excel to HTML (File->Save As) and vice versa. Essentially a HTML page containing Office XML is created & in a web application a file download is triggered with the help of the following Response.AppendHeader statements -
Response.AppendHeader("Content-Type", "application/vnd.ms-excel");
Response.AppendHeader("Content-disposition", "attachment; filename=my.xls");
If you want to use this technique in a Winforms application, just save the string content as a text file and give the file an extension of ".xls". Instead of the last 3 lines in the sample's Page_Load method, replace it with this line -
System.IO.File.WriteAllText(#"C:\Report.xls", strBody);
