Migrating from Netbeans to VSCode - visual-studio-code

I'm migrating from Netbeans to VSCode, and after some time of use, I don't understand how can I see all my projects into the navigator so I can work in some project I need and sometimes copy files between projects too. Actually, I've just can open some folder or I can just open the root folder of all my projects, okay, but with it, I can't sync each project with some FTP server using the third-party ftp-simple plugin for FTP connections.
This is vscode Version: 1.37.1 using macos.

Problems creating a project with CodenameOne in Netbeans

Install Netbeans 12.6 on a Windows 10 machine. I was able to install the CodenameOne plugin with no problem. When creating a project I get the following error message:
Cannot invoke "org.openide.filesystems.FileObject.getFileObject(String)" because "folder" is null
I've been surfing the internet and can't find a way to fix it.
Thank you for your support.
This approach is no longer supported. The plugin is only used for legacy applications and no longer works in newer IDEs due to breaking changes in almost all IDEs.
Starting with Codename One 7.x we moved to maven projects which don't require the plugin and can be created in https://start.codenameone.com/
I have followed the instructions in the manual and it mentions as important:
"Before opening the project in NetBeans, you need to copy the contents of the tools/netbeans directory into the root project directory. These files are required by NetBeans to build, run, and debug the project correctly. "
But I can't find this folder in netbeans version 12.6.

Removing worklight server config files for new eclipse project

I have installed worklight/IBM Mobile first plugin in my eclipse. But I want to enable the worklight server only to specific projects. The issue is, if I create a new eclipse project, the worklight automatically creates the config files in my new eclipse project. I don't want this unnecessary config files to my other projects, only it should be enabled in worklight projects.
I tried deleting the worklight server in server view and deleted files from folders, but when I restart the eclipse, it is again creating the config files.
Is there anyway to disable worklight in eclipse in default?
You could try to untick the Project >> Build automatically option, but I doubt this will help and even if it will help it is not recommended to untick it as it is needed.
The other option would of course to use another Eclipse instance where you do not have the MobileFirst Studio plug-in installed.

How to Use Eclipse Project Path with Different Users in Server

I have responsibility on develepment an Application which created in Eclipse. I am able to open project in my computer with Andorid studio after the configuration of project library on Eclipse. In summery i have to setup Eclipse first, configurate libraries path. and then it is possible to import through Android Studio at least l am geting more logical Exceptions or errors.
We have a server with different users.Other user already has Eclipse and able to make changes on his side. MY QUESTION is I want to setup Android Studio on my user but should i need to setup Eclipse too? Is it possible to use other users project path on Eclipse. little bit complicated but hope and one had this experiences before. Thank you.
(For Garry)

NetBeans code synchronisation

How can I sync code between my pc and my laptop. I'm using NetBeans for developing most of my projects. Now, I upload .zip ( or use dropbox ), but it is so annoying always to make a new project in NetBeans and add the source. Can't I just save the project on my PC and the project automatically synchronise to my laptop?
It's time for you to use Git or SubVersioN or CVS, and possibly Maven.
All these versioning systems and project management system (Maven) are supported by NetBeans IDE.
Ideally you want to use Revision (source) Control
There are plenty of free SVN services out there (see: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59791/free-online-private-svn-repositories )
Working with SVN through netbeans is a breeze.

Select > Upload FTP Solution for Eclipse

in Netbeans, you can select a file on the project explorer and upload it directly to the ftp and it finds where to upload properly (amongst the folders and sub-folders,since the remote project is the copy of local project with the same folder, sub-folders and etc.) which provides quick solution when working on both local and remote.
I am wondering whether the same functionality is also available on Eclipse? I don't need anything complicated. This feature is what I only need. So if you know such plugin and how to use it, please enlighten me.
I am using Eclipse for PHP, my version of Eclipse is PDT
Aptana Studio 3 (standalone or plugin) has FTP download/upload functionality. And much more.
Eclipse has a Build in FTP. Go Windows->Open Perspective ->Other->Remote System Explorer.Create New Connection . Right Click on Explorer->New Connection ->FTP.
Note:(For Eclipse Helios and above)
