How to push file from SharePoint Online to on- premise FTP location? - push

I have to try to push a file from SharePoint Online to on-premise FTP location.

SharePoint Onine is part of Azure public cloud. Public cloud has its own network and if you are looking to connect to your organization private network FTP then below are the ways -
1. Use Micrsoft flow (can run on SP event or recurring), create file using MS. flow and push to the SFTP location if your SFTP is public and can be accessible over the internet.
Use Azure logic app and by using SFTP connector, push the file to on premise FTP location.
You can also try by using on-premise gateway connector. I hope it helps you.

How to use Azure Data Factory, Key Vaults and ADF Private Endpoints together

I've created new ADF instance on Azure with Managed Virtual Network integration enabled.
I planned to connect to Azure Key Vault to retrieve credentials for my pipeline’s source and sink systems using Key Vault Private Endpoint. I was able to successfully create it using Azure Data Factory Studio. I have also created Azure Key Vault linked service.
However, when I try to configure another Linked Services for source and destination systems the only option available for retrieving credentials from Key Vault is AVK Linked Service. I'm not able to select related Private Endpoint anywhere (please see below screen).
Do I miss something?
Are there any additional configuration steps required? Is the scenario I've described possible at all?
Any help will be appreciated!
UPDATE: Screen comparing 2 linked services (one with managed network and private endpoint selected and another one where I'm not able to set this options up):
Managed Virtual Network integration enabled, Make sure check which region you are using unfortunately ADF managed virtual network is not supported for East Asia.
I have tried in my environment even that option is not available
So, I have gathered some information even if you create a private endpoint for Key Vault, this column is always shown as blank .it validates URL format but doesn't do any network operation
As per official document if you want to use new link service, instead of key vault try to create other database services like azure sql, azure synapse service like as below

Having issue determining credentials used when connecting to SoftLayer ObjectStorage using SFTP

I'm having trouble connecting to the Bluemix Object Store using the instructions presented by this link: https://knowledgelayer.softlayer.com/procedure/connect-object-storage-using-sftp
It's unclear to me what the username and account ID are so I would appreciate it if someone can clarify
The instructions are valid
Where I can find the values for SLOS/IBMOS etc?
I do not have access to the Softlayer customer portal as this service as created in Bluemix.
I can confirm that an sftp server is listening at the appropriate region endpoint.
Brien, it is not possible to use SFTP to access the Bluemix Object Storage if you create it from the Services catalog area of the Bluemix UI:
https://console.ng.bluemix.net/catalog/services/object-storage
This one can be accessed via swift cli or REST API.
To use SFTP to access your Object Storage you need to create it from the Infrastructure are of the Bluemix UI - that is the legacy Softayer that is now integrated with Bluemix.
https://console.ng.bluemix.net/catalog/infrastructure/object_storage/
Also, to create the Object Storage from the Infrastructure catalog you need to first link your Bluemix and Softlayer accounts:
https://console.ng.bluemix.net/docs/admin/softlayerlink.html

Programmatically download RDP file of Azure Resource Manager VM

I am able to create VM from a custom image using Azure resource management sdk for .net. Now, I want to download the RDP file for virtual machine programmatically. I have searched and able to find Rest API for azure 'Classic' deployments which contains an api call to download RDP file but i can't find the same in Rest API for 'ARM' deployment. Also, I can't find any such Method in .net sdk for azure.
Does there any way exist to achieve that? Please guide..
I don't know of a way to get the RDP file, but you can get all the information you need from the deployment itself. On the deployment, you can set outputs for the values you need like the publicIp dns. See this:
https://github.com/bmoore-msft/AzureRM-Samples/blob/master/VMCSEInstallFilePS/azuredeploy.json#L213-215
If your environment is more complex (load balancers, network security groups) you need to account for port numbers, etc.

Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Im kinda new to Windows server, but have been checking out Microsoft Azure and like the IaaS.
Just a question about SSO verse Azure Active Directory Sync.
Im moving my infrastructure into Azure, my base is a AD server, "dirsync" or AD FS server and a few web servers etc. We use Google Apps for Email, Calendar and Drive.
So I see that there are two ways to keep my AD directory and Azure directory in sync. SSO and Azure Active Directory Sync.
If I use Azure Active Directory Sync and not setup AD FS on a server with SSO, will I still be able to use SSO with my Azure Directory to Apps the Microsoft have in the Azure portal?
The only reason I would need a AD FS server if I had Apps/Services on site that I wanted to use SSO with, correct?
I plan to run, kayako and CrashPlan in two VM's in Azure. Both will use LDAP/AD for usernames/password authentication. But would be cool to get SSO for both webapps so employees can sing-on via the myapps.microsoft.com portal.
The two ways are DirSync and AAD Sync. Refer: Synchronization Previews Now Available for Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
Sync = Same Sign On between on-premise and cloud
Sync + ADFS = Single Sign On between on-premise and cloud
Update
myapps.microsoft.com is for third-party vendors like SalesForce who have asked Microsoft to add them as a SaaS application to AAD. It's not for company specific apps.
For company specific apps., you need ADFS as above.
Having done that, if your user SSO's into your app. and then wants to use e.g. SalesForce, they won't have to login again.

How to Connect Virtual Machines in a Cloud Service using REST

I'm working with Virtual Machines on Windows Azure and according to the following link:
http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/manage/windows/how-to-guides/connect-to-a-cloud-service/
it is possible to link various Virtual Machines to the same cloud service. The provided link clearly explains how to do it by means of the Windows Azure Management Portal. Nevertheless, in my case, I want to do the same using the REST API. Anyone knows how can it be done?
Thank you so much in advance,
Abel.
I believe you need to "add role" to add a new VM to an existing IaaS Cloud service: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/jj157186.aspx
