I am trying to set up Cloudkit-JS to access an existing Cloudkit database through a web browser. The db itself works fine and I have an iOS app which connects to the db without any problems.
I've generated an API Token in the Cloudkit Dashboard and I've set it to allow any domain. I don't know if its significant but I'm trying to get this working through a local html file. It's not running on a web server.
CloudKit.configure({
containers: [{
containerIdentifier: 'iCloud.com.[My App]',
apiToken: '[API Token]',
environment: 'development'
}]
});
var container = CloudKit.getDefaultContainer();
The call to getDefaultContainer() triggers the following error message in the browser console.
ckErrorCode: CONFIGURATION_ERROR
extensionErrorCode: undefined
isCKError: true
isError: true
isServerError: true
isServerExtensionError: true
message: CONFIGURATION_ERROR: Please configure CloudKit
name: Error
reason: CONFIGURATION_ERROR: Please configure CloudKit
recordName: undefined
redirectURL: undefined
retryAfter: undefined
serverErrorCode: undefined
subscriptionID: undefined
uuid: undefined
zoneID: undefined
]
getDefaultContainer (cloudkit.js:12:1146)
Global Code (index.html:29)
Any ideas on what to try next?
Turns out to be a rookie error. I was trying to call getDefaultContainer() before the authentication had completed asynchronously.

Beginner here trying out t3 stack app with trpc-openapi. Prisma provider is using mongodb. I can connect to MongoDB but when I make the call http://localhost:3000/api/all from http://localhost:3000/api-docs I get error
{
"message": "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'prisma')",
"code": "INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR"
}
Source for the app is at https://github.com/firefoxNX/cosmic_monk.
I don't see any other error in the server console.
I was not passing the context which holds the prisma client in multiple places where createOpenApiNextHandler was being used.
import {createTRPCContext} from "../../server/api/trpc";
...
return createOpenApiNextHandler({router: appRouter, createContext: createTRPCContext})(req, res);
I'm trying to make a request to the testnet but getting the following error:

The base64 decoded script is:
import FungibleToken from 0x9a0766d93b6608b7
import FUSD from 0xe223d8a629e49c68
pub fun main(address: Address): UFix64 {
let account = getAccount(address)
let vaultRef = account.getCapability(/public/fusdBalance)!
.borrow<&FUSD.Vault{FungibleToken.Balance}>()
?? panic("Could not borrow Balance reference to the Vault")
return vaultRef.balance
}
and the arguments are:
{"type":"Address","value":"0x580622e745183b16"}
When I run the following command in the cli, it works: flow scripts execute -n testnet scripts/getFUSDBalance.cdc --arg "Address:580622e745183b16"
not sure why I'm getting issues with this
EDIT:
didn't mention that the error is coming from FCL
Here's the code I'm using to interact with Flow:
async getFUSDBalance(): Promise<Result<number, string>> {
const scriptText = getFUSDBalance as string;
const user = await this.getCurrentUser();
return await flow.query<number>({
cadence: scriptText,
payer: fcl.authz,
authorizations: [fcl.authz],
args: (arg, t) => [
arg(user.addr, t.Address)
]
})
}
flow.query<T> is just a wrapper for fcl.query
It works in the CLI but not from FCL
EDIT 2:
So I found that the real issue I was facing was I was getting this error:
Fetch API cannot load access.devnet.nodes.onflow.org:9000/v1/scripts?block_height=sealed. URL scheme "access.devnet.nodes.onflow.org" is not supported
access.devnet.nodes.onflow.org:9000 is gRPC (I think). I should have been using https://rest-testnet.onflow.org. However, when I change to that I get a CORS violation. I think I read somewhere that you can't access the testnet from localhost (why?), but I deployed to a *.app domain and I'm getting the same error No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Is the CORS policy not set up for *.app domains?
So turns out changing to https://rest-testnet.onflow.org for the accessNode.api value did work. Not sure why it didn't when I posted the second edit, but whatever. This works for localhost too.
I was deploying my java contract to the Mastery network through the frontend by using a MERN stack app and came across the following error while compiling:
Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'fs' in '/home/parina/Documents/aion-counter/node_modules/aion-web3-eth/src'
To rectify this, I added
node: {
fs: "empty"
},
to my webpack.config.js file.
After this, I was successfully able to compile my project and start the server but on opening the project in the browser, the contract was not deployed and I got the following error in the console:
TypeError: fs.readFileSync is not a function at Contract.deploy (index.js?60f4:244) at _callee$ (Main.js?1523:40) at tryCatch (runtime.js?280d:65) at Generator.invoke [as _invoke] (runtime.js?280d:303) at Generator.prototype.<computed> [as next] (runtime.js?280d:117) at step (Main.js?1523:9) at eval (Main.js?1523:9) at new Promise (<anonymous>) at eval (Main.js?1523:9) at deploy (Main.js?1523:19)
After searching on various forums, I found out that fs is not supposed to be used on the frontend and I was suggested alternatives to it. But it here it is being used by the Aion node modules and not directly and therefore I can’t seem to find the way around it.
As you mentioned since, fs is a server-side module, the file can be uploaded (through react or whatever is the clientside module) to the server and executed server-side and response returned to the client.
So I would suggest to get the encoded byte code of the jar along with the deployment arguments and set the transaction data field to the encoded data.
For example, assuming you are deploying the counter sample contract(https://docs.aion.network/docs/deploy-a-contract#section-example-script):

The issue got resolved here:

Since fs cannot be used on the client-side, I shifted the deployment function in my MERN dApp on the server-side while doing the rest of the interactions on the client-side.
I have created a JHipster microservices application and want to do some frontend development on it. Launching the whole microservices stack in the ./docker-compose/ directory with docker-compose up -d works as expected. Registry shows all microservices, the gateway and an UAA instance with status 'up'. No exceptions thrown. Login to http://localhost:8080 works as expected.
Launching yarn start in the gateway project directory launches the development server via webpack and browsersync. Hot reload works as expected when pointing the browser at http://localhost:9000.
Now to my problem/question: logging into http://localhost:9000 as user/user doesn't work, as the account cannot be retrieved. The thrown exception is irrelevant because it just states that the account is null:
webpack-internal:///…fesm5/core.js:16064 ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise):
TypeError: Cannot read property 'langKey' of null
TypeError: Cannot read property 'langKey' of null
at LoginService.setPreferredLanguage (webpack-internal:///…
login.service.ts:34)
....
But when I point the browser back to http://localhost:8080, I'm logged in as 'user'. Which means that the login on the backend worked.
Being new to docker and microservices, I'm suspecting that I'm conceptually missing something (networks/ports/etc..). Any ideas that could point to finding a solution? Or what is the suggested setup/practices for developing the frontend in a JHipster/microservices configuration.
There has been an error in the webpack.dev.js configuration file and because UAA was added later to the project, the UAA module was missing in the contexts to be proxies:
devServer: {
contentBase: './build/www',
proxy: [{
context: [
'/microservice1',
'/microservice2',
'/microserviceuaa', /* !!! was missing !!! */
/* jhipster-needle-add-entity-to-webpack - JHipster will add entity api paths here */
'/api',
'/management',
'/swagger-resources',
'/v2/api-docs',
'/h2-console',
'/auth'
],
target: `http${options.tls ? 's' : ''}://127.0.0.1:8080`,
secure: false,
changeOrigin: options.tls,
headers: { host: 'localhost:9000' }
}],
I have an Cloud-SQL instance restarted by itself for no reason. In any case, the restart failed with the following error:

Looking at Cloud-SQL instance console, all action links were greyed out and my instance is showing a yellow warning sign. The operation and logs on the console displayed:
Feb 8, 2018, 3:50:48 PM Restart An unknown error occurred.
Click on users and database tab, I've got this:
Users/Database cannot be loaded from MySQL at this time. Make sure your instance is runnable.
I am unable to restart the instance via console or gcloud cl:
$ gcloud sql instances restart xxxxxxxx
The instance will shut down and start up again immediately if its
activation policy is "always." If "on demand," the instance will start
up again when a new connection request is made.
Do you want to continue (Y/n)? y
ERROR: (gcloud.sql.instances.restart) HTTPError 409: The instance or operation is not in an appropriate state to handle the request.
Query using MySQL workbench via ip is still working but my Firebase Cloud Function was not able to access the MySQL DB via socket path.
Not sure what to do to get back my instance, shall I just create another instance and try to restore?
