AZURE DevOps the date a story moves into a column (swimlane) - azure-devops

I would like to display the date a story moves into a different column / swim lane on the story card so everyone looking at the board can see the length of time a story is in a column / swim lane.

There is currently no field in the cards setting that can show the changed date for the column/swimlane.
The Changed Date field here is not only for column / swimlane changes, but also for other item changes.
In addition, the date displayed in the card can only be accurate to a certain day, not the specific time.
So, if you want to track the specific date of column/swimlane changes, you need to click into the story card and view it in History.

Google Sheets - Protect monthly range script needs monthly triggers at specified date and time

I would like to request help with a script Im trying to put together.
Linked is my test spreadsheet including the script I currently have on the second sheet.
The idea is that this sheet will be copied individually to a group of people. Each person will get their own sheet, editable only by them and myself. It does not get shared any further. Each day the person will add a value into the corresponding day's cell.
On the last day of each month at 8pm, I would like to protect (lock) the cells for that month, to stop the person changing any values that they previously entered.
I have put a repeating script together with a function for each month, covering each range. The problem I'm having is creating triggers that will run the function on the required day. If I set a monthly trigger, they will all trigger at the same time at the end of the first month. Ideally I need individual triggers that will run once a year on the specified date and time for each individual function.
Is this possible? Is there a better way of doing this?
I also realise that I will need to give permissions for each function run, and possibly for each individual copy of the sheet I give to said persons. Is there a clever way around that?
Im also thinking another approach would be for the script to trigger each monthly function 'on open' if the relative date has passed. For example, on Open, if Date is Feb 1st, lock January range, and so on.
Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
(Note: the true sheet I copied my script and layout from starts this section at Column U, which is why I have minimised Columns A-T).

Tableau dashboard filter action excluding date but including clients represented in date clicked

I have a bar chart below that shows the sum of clients by month. I want to be able to click on a month and use a dashboard action to navigate to all data for each of the clients represented in the month that was clicked. Basically, I want to exclude the date portion of the filtering.
I currently do this by navigating to a sheet that includes client_id and filters for the single month and then I select all client_ids and action to another sheet that filters by the selected client_ids and not date. I want to remove the middle step.
If the above selected month is April 2020 and represented 64 clients, my current action takes me to a sheet that has each client on a row and shows me their sum of invoices for April 2020. I want to see those same 64 clients for all months they have transactions in.
This one may be tough to accomplish, but I definitely see what you're setting out to do. If you're using a date dimension on your action it will use that data to filter.
However, there may be some other options depending on what you're needing. If don't need to see the invoice ids and only want to see the sum of invoices for all months you could use a LOD (Level of Detail) calculated field.
You would create a calculated field like:
{ FIXED [client_id] : SUM([your invoice amount measure])}
Use this as a new column to get the sum of all invoices in your data set for each client.

Is there any way to set the action to focus on the most recent updated date on tableau?

Is there any way to set the action to focus on the most recent updated date? Every Time when tableau extract refreshes, the new date value will be added, and the default action will not update and always focus on the value that along with the published format.
According to the image the default action was set to 2012, therefore, the image below was reflecting the value of 2012. However, when the extract is updated, the bar graph will have one extra bar that represents 2013. How to let the cube image reflex the value from 2013?

Displaying different sheets at user's demand in a single dashboard -- Tableau

I am new to Tableau. I am not sure if I can use Tableau to create the following type of interactive dashboard.
Say I have two almost irrelevant data sources. The first one contains daily revenue for some department stores.
Store Name Date Revenue
-----------------------------
Macy 6/29/16 50,000
Century 21 6/29/16 46,000
Macy 6/28/16 45,000
Century 21 6/28/16 48,000
...
I want to use line chart to study the Revenue. So I would use Date as the horizontal axis, and Revenue as the measure, while using Store Name as the color dimension. As a result, it will render several color lines to capture the revenue in terms of date.
For my other data source, it contains similar things. But instead of doing department stores, it contains information about fast food chain restaurants.
Restaurant Date Revenue
----------------------------
KFC 5/1/16 50,000
McDonald 5/1/16 46,000
KFC 5/2/16 45,000
McDonald 5/2/16 48,000
...
I use line chart to study the revenue again.
Now with the dashboard, is there any way I can have a control with menu Fast Food and Department Store, so that if the user clicks Fast Food, the line chart involving Fast Food appears and if the user clicks Department Store, the line chart involving Department Store appears?
So far, I've been able to use this helpful article http://kb.tableau.com/articles/knowledgebase/multiple-sources-one-worksheet to display Fast Food and Department Store at request. But if the user clicks Fast Food, he will get only one line, instead of multiple lines (one for each restaurant).
I hope I have described my problem clearly.
You can fairly easily do this using a parameter control and using it as a filter in your sheets.
First, create a parameter control "View Control":
Next, create a calculated field based on the parameter for each data source:
The calculation should match the data source ('Fast Food' for the fast food source, and so on)
Then place the calculated fields in the filter card and set to True. This should hide one of the sheets and show the other. They should never be shown or hidden at the same time.
Lastly, place both sheets and the parameter control onto a dashboard. It is best to place the two sheets within the same layout container. You should get the following result:
change parameter:

Excel - Insert "day" on a cell and format it to date with current month and year

I am working on a home accounting template (and could not find any good one :-/), so I am creating one for each month. Both in my expenses and my incomes, I would like to have a date column where I just have to insert the "day" (e.g.: 22) and it automatically fills the rest with the current month and year (or I could set them in another cell).
For example: 22 + ENTER would return: 22/12/2014
If I do this, I automatically get a default date: 22/01/1900
I do not know if it is possible to change this defaul date depending on the current one or any other value.
I have tried with a different strategy: if the amount column is not empty, fill in with today's date: =IF(A3="";"";TODAY())
The problem is that I do not always register today's expenses, so I need to change it manually. I was just wondering if this is possible and there is a better way (maybe a macro?).
You need Excel to modify the cell contents after you press ENTER. The only option seems to be a Macro using the Worksheet_Change event.
Please check out this other question. I think that will help.
This can be achieved with simple formatting and use of controls that are available in Excel. VBA will give you drastically more flexibility, however the request above can be accomplished without learning VBA.
I have included a sample file here.
Steps to recreate:
Create a range of months. I created a range including the current month through 12/2014
Insert a combo box from the developer tab. Right click and select Format Control. On the Control tab, input the range you just created and then select a "linked cell". This will insert an integer to indicate which item you picked in the list, starting at 1.
Use the attached formula to add the DAY that you enter in the first column and VLOOKUP the month and year from the value chosen in the combo box.
Enhancements: I used conditional formatting to change the text color of the days you enter to WHITE. This way you won't see them. I also included some checking in the VLOOKUP formula: the day you enter must be a number and must be non-blank for a date to populate.
