I want to setup a server as a backend for my android/web app with mongodb(nosql) (Just like Firebase) on my own laptop/desktop with all the functionality and API.
I read something about creating a server with apache but not sure what to do.
And please tell if there is anything to do of parse server.
Can anyone suggest a video or give great description for this.
Parse Server needs NodeJS not Apache.

I have been working on a NativeScript project that uses an API. The API project is on my MacBook and haven't deployed to anywhere yet. It's based on Laravel and I use Laravel Valet as development environment.
I can't test the mobile app on iPhone because the app can't connect to local API URL. I know Valet has "share" command, but because the API consumes another API -which has IP restrictions-, it doesn't work for me. Sharing a local domain via Valet's share command is something like a proxy as I understand, so the consumed API doesn't work on that proxy.
I also checked articles about how to share Macbook's network with iPhone, but it only shares the same network. I can't access the local API still.
Is there any other way that can resolve my issue? Maybe a Docker based solution? I am not that good at Docker, but I can give a try if it is possible with it.

I need to edit application developed by somebody else in Meteor.js deployed on Digitalocean. I have an access to digitalocean account, but have no idea how to access code and the whole folder where is application stored. Is this even possible ? Should I ask him for github repo with the app to get it instead ? Thanks.
Ask for the repo. The server may only contain the built version of the app (since that's all that's needed to run it) and that's no good for developing. You can't edit that directly.
I have bought a VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) that Windows Server 2008 is installed on it. I needed to use server because I have developed a C# console application that can read data by TCP socket and write them in the MySQL database.
Now I need to start a website on this server. I think WAMP server is so easy for me.
Maybe in future a lot of people visit my website.
Is it a good idea to use WAMP server as a web server?
In principal there is nothing wrong with using WAMPServer as a LIVE webserver.
However, not the out of the box version.
Out of the box WAMPServer and XAMPP for that matter expect to be used as a single seat developer tool and while that is great for a click and go solution to get a developer up and running on Apache/MySQL and PHP in a few minutes it is not secure enough to be considered as a LIVE web facing webserver.
Now if you have the knowledge and experience to create an user account on Windows Server that has access to only what Apache needs to do its work, and can get Apache to run in that account instead of its default account (which has way to many privilages for a live server) and are prepared to explore all the Apache security features/modules that would be required for a web facing server then it is possible. However this is not a trivial task, and any mistakes or ommissions will leave your server open to the simplest of hacks.
In short, unless you really know what you are doing with Windows Server and Apache, you would be far better to pay for a professionally configured and managed web server environment.
I'm having difficulty in integrating AEM 5.6.1 with Site Catalyst. It allows me to connect in the configuration successfully, but does not work on the framework setup.
I've followed the standard procedure to connect AEM to SC and it accepts my login in the configuration, but fails on the framework set up with the browser message 'We were not able to login to SiteCatalyst. Please check your credentials and try again.'. Behind the scenes in the server log;

I've tried accessing via the API Explorer and it works.
I've tried the troubleshooting guide without success.
I can log in to Site Catalyst, I'm an admin, I am in the web services access group.
I've tried using a clean install of CQ5.6.1 with geometrixx - it doesn't work either.
I've tried this from a server and from a localhost/dev machine with the same results. No proxy. I've even tried using the shared secret as the password but then it doesn't connect at all, and fails on the configuration screen.
What might cause this to fail?
If it doesn't work with a fresh install and Geometrixx, then it's probably an Adobe bug. That's typically the first thing support will ask you about.
I would also verify using Geometrixx Outdoors, or a more recent demo site, on your fresh install, just to ensure it's not an outdated ClientLib issue.
I know this isn't a direct answer to your question, but honestly, I would approach the integration differently. I've worked with the AEM-SC framework and it's buggy at best. It's very finicky, it doesn't REALLY work the way the documentation claims, and it requires that you're very specific about what Clientlibs are on the page.
Moving forward, I think using Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager is the better approach, for many reasons. My understanding is that it's Adobe's recommendation as well. I'd consider moving to that. In AEM 5.6.1, you'll have to customize your integration with DTM, but it's not very hard.

it also seems to work with newer API versions such as https://api3.omniture.com/admin/1.3/rest/
It would appear that for 5.6.1 it ignores the OSGi configuration, at least for the configuration screens. With this extra property, the framework page loads without error and allows selection of the RSID.
I have a completed meteor project and is currently deployed on the meteor website. I would like to move it to my own website, which is currently hosted by GoDaddy.
How do I install Node and Mongo on my server (linux) and then run my meteor project? I received ssh access to my server, so I assume I can do this, but I'm just not sure how.
So how exactly do I proceed?

Discover Meteor has a chapter on deployment which helps to answer this question. For ubuntu-based servers they recommend meteor-up. I haven't used it, but it's probably worth checking out. Previous versions of the book recommended meteoric.
I wrote my own set of bash scripts using a few ideas from meteoric, but I already had a lot of experience doing deployment scripting. Frankly there's nothing quite like figuring it all out yourself, but doing sysadmin tasks doesn't appeal to everyone and it can be hard to pick up in a hurry.
