Apache-Kafka: Issue in creating topic using windows cmd - apache-kafka

I am new to Apache-Kafka.I am using:
zookeeper-3.6.0
kafka-2.13-2.4.1
Windows-7
Earlier i was able to create and list topics on the same machine.
After i restarted my system, i am unable to create and list topics.
I am getting below errors.
Create error:
Topic create error
List error:
List Topic Error
The error looks pretty simple. I googled a lot but unfortunately, i am not able to get a solution to this.
I followed the below link for configurations:
http://programming-tips.in/kafka-set-up-apache-kafka-on-windows/
Looking forward for some expert advice.

Type it out manually and it will work.
There is something wrong with the '-' in the example code.

Azure Data Factory CICD error: The document creation or update failed because of invalid reference

All, when running a build pipeline using Azure Devops with ARM template, the process is consistently failing when trying to deploy a dataset or a reference to a dataset with this error:
ARM Template deployment: Resource Group scope (AzureResourceManagerTemplateDeployment)
BadRequest: The document creation or update failed because of invalid reference 'dataset_1'.
I've tried renaming the dataset and also recreating it to see if that would help.
I then deleted the dataset_1.json file from the repo and still get the same message so it's some reference to this dataset and not the dataset itself I think. I've looked through all the other files for references to this but they all look fine.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
thanks
try this
Looks like you have created 'myTestLinkedService' linked service, tested connection but haven't published it yet and trying to reference that linked service in the new dataset that you are trying to create using Powershell.
In order to reference any data factory entity from Powershell, please make sure those entities are published first. Please try publishing the linked service first from the portal and then try to run your Powershell script to create the new dataset/actvitiy.
I think I found the issue. When I went into the detailed logs I found that in addition to this error there was an error message about an invalid SQL connection string, so I though it may be related since the dataset in question uses Azure SQL database linked service.
I adjusted the connection string and this seems to have solved the issue.

UI console to browse topics on Message Hub

I have a Message Hub instance on Bluemix, and am able to produce / consume messages off it. I was looking for a quick, reasonable way to browse topics / messages to see what's going on. Something along the lines of kafka-topics-ui.
I installed kafka-topics-ui locally, but could not get it to connect to Message Hub. I used the kafka-rest-url value from the MessageHub credentials in the kafka-topics-ui configuration file (env.js), but could not figure out where to provide the API key.
Alternatively, in the Bluemix UI, under Kibana, I can see log entries for creating the topic. Unfortunately, I could not see log entries for messages in the topic (perhaps I'm looking the wrong place or have wrong filters?).
My guess is I'm missing something basic. Is there a way to either:
configure a tool such as kafka-topics-ui to connect to MessageHub,
or,
browse topic messages easily?
Cheers.
According to Using the Kafka REST API on Bluemix you need an additional header in all API requests:
-H "X-Auth-Token: APIKEY"
A quick solution is to edit the topic-ui code and include your token in every request. Another solution would be to use a Chrome plugin that can inject the above header. For a more formal solution, i have opened a ticket on github

ADMG0007E: The configuration data type ConfigSynchronizationService is not valid

I'm trying to automize WebSphere Deployment process for zero down-time using steps which you can find in this link..
According to documentation's first step , we should disable "Automatic Synchronization" for each node. To automize it, I'm using script which given in documentation but when I try to apply the command below :
set syncServ [$AdminConfig list ConfigSynchronizationService $na_id]
I'm facing with an error that : ADMG0007E: The configuration data type ConfigSynchronizationService is not valid
As I checked IBM documentations, I couldn't see any resource which referred to this problem.
Does anyone have any workaround or direct solution for it?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
PS: I should mention that document written for zOS system but I'm trying to apply that methodology to WebSphere AS on Linux.

EPrints 500 Internal Server Error when Add a new document from existing record

EPrints Release: 3.3.15
I've been stucked cannot upload new docs for my eprints' existing record.
I CAN upload new docs if I create new Record (from Manage Deposit menu)
I've checked this troubleshooting URL https://wiki.eprints.org/w/Troubleshooting#System_gives_a_.22500_Internal_Error.22_when_viewing_advanced_search_or_submitting_a_document
Quote
System gives a "500 Internal Error" when viewing advanced search or
submitting a document
Possible cause: No Subjects, Bug in code.
Solution: Run generate_subjects
If this fails: Look at your apache error log for clues. If reporting a
bug, include the errors from the apache error log (often, but now
always, found at /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log)
But I CANNOT FIND the damn generate_subjects function/url/else...
I've googled around but nothing
Thanks for any helps/solutions
