My goal is to have a local notification vibrate the phone without sound.
I have been googling around and am leaning towards using a sound file that is a blank (nothing to hear) sound. But I am curious if there is a better way?

As far as I can tell vibrate and sound come hand in hand so your sugeestion of the blank sound file is probably the most effective to get the result you need.

I have recently made a page on itch.io, I am wondering how I would be able to prevent people from copying the files and sending it instead of paying the $20. In other words, I want to make sure that the person who tries to run the launcher / installer has purchased the game from itch.io
What you can do is the same as mojang, create yourgameaccount#gmail.com and yourgameusertag. That way you can prevent maybe. Try to do like minecraft where you require registered account to play the game.

I have finished an online course in iOS development on Udemy and I'm ready to start developing my first (real) app.
My goal is to make a teleprompter app similar to: https://itunes.apple.com/dk/app/video-teleprompter-lite/id1031079244?mt=8
To start with, I would like to create just the moving text. I have looked at various concepts such as Core Animation, Text View, Segue from one view controller to another etc. But none of them seem to be able to display the moving text in the proper "teleprompter way".
I would really appreciate suggestions as to how to start/which relevant concepts to look at in this context.
Try reading up on UIDynamics, UIPushBehavior.

i've been searching on this for some days now. I've found how to connect devices with the multipeer connectivity protocol (http://techmaster.vn/2013/09/multipeer-connectivity-quick-tutorial/) and i've manage to send text or images. What i want to do is to stream video and audio from the camera of the one device (master) to the other device(slave) in real time and show it on the slave's screen. I've found ways to save the video from the camera to the device in a file but there is nothing about streaming. Any ideas? I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

I am developing an app in which I need to put my iPhone on any surface and detect the taps on that surface. Please provide me any link or idea regarding that.
Thanks.
See sample code out there for using the accelerometer to detect movement.
Then test varying amounts of detected movement and determine what you think is "tap".
As a suggestion - you could use the accelerometer in the phone to detect vibrations. I'm not sure if it will be accurate enough for you, and you will need to do some processing of the results to filter for the correct type of vibration.
This isn't simple, so if you were hoping for some code or library to do this I don't think you'll find what you need.
If you do manage to do it, you could open source your implementation and help the next person who comes along.
