Sort diagrams alphabetically in Doxygen using doxyfile configuration - doxygen

While generating documentation using doxygen (Environment Ubuntu 20.04), I can observe the sequence diagrams (as a subpage) are not listed in numerical order (i.e. improperly sorted).

2. What I've tried
In the doxyfile that I use, I set YES to the flags listed below.
SORT_BRIEF_DOCS
SORT_BY_SCOPE_NAME
SORT_GROUP_NAMES
SORT_MEMBERS_CTORS_1ST
SORT_MEMBER_DOCS
Now, you might wonder why I did that. Since I am new to generating documentation with doxygen, and the flag name "SORT" caught my attention, I tried to set these flags to YES. However, the end result was not what I expected. It is evident that I am doing something that is incorrect, and it would be great if someone could point me towards the proper direction.

Can I generate in-routine documentation that will appear in doxygen report?

I've just started using doxygen to document some legacy C code and I'm very impressed about what in can do even with un-marked up code. I've gotten the basics, annotating routines: brief, description, param, return, see, etc. That all appears (beautifully) in the generated documentation for the function. My question is: Can I put doxygen markup inside the routine, interspersed in the actual code, so comments that explain the "upcoming" section of code, can also be included in the documentation. Providing a stepwise overview of what the function does without having to copy those comments to the top of the routine?

Removing annotations from a Modelica model

I'm developing a Modelica library and need to produce a document with source code listings. I'd like to be able to include the source of the Modelica models without annotations.
I could manually edit them out, but I'm looking for a more automated strategy. I'm guessing the most convenient and straightforward approach is to use some tool to save .mo files with no annotations and include those in my document (I'm using \lstinputlisting in LaTeX).
Is it possible to do this? I have access to Dymola, OpenModelica and JModelica. Dymola is obviously capable of producing such a listing, as it's able to include it in the automatically generated documentation (File > Export > HTML...). I've been looking into scripting with Dymola and OpenModelica, but haven't found a way to do this either.
JModelica seems like it could be a good option, but I don't have experience working with Python. If this is possible and someone gives me some pointers, I'm willing to look into it myself. I found a mention to a prettyprint function that might do the job, but I'm not sure where to start. I can't even find reference to that function in the latest documentation.
It would also be more convenient for me to find a way of doing it with Dymola/OpenModelica (whether through the UI or by using a script). Have I missed something?
I think you could use saveTotalModel("total.mo", MyModelName) in OpenModelica. This will strip most annotations (not ones used for code generation if I remember correctly) and pretty-print the source code including all dependencies. Then you just copy-paste the models/packages that you want to include in the listing. Or if you prefer, you can do something like the following to only include code for a particular model:
loadModel(Modelica);
loadFile("MyModel.mo");
saveTotalModel("total.mo", MyModel.A.B);
clear();
loadFile(MyModel);
str := list(MyModel.A.B);
writeFile("MyModel.A.B.listing", str);

Automatic documentation of an OO MATLAB project with mtoc++/Doxygen

I have an OO project in MATLAB and would like to automatically produce some documentation.
After some research I have found a convenient tool called mtoc++ which apparently produces a documentation using Doxygen (I have no experience with).
My only question is whether in order to use the tool I need to write comments in MATLAB using a specific format (language?) so that mtoc++/Doxygen could understand and document my comments?
If so, then what this format/ language is and where I can find its description?
After correctly installing and configuring mtoc++/Doxygen, the documentation is created automatically.

Look under the heading Configuration options for the mtoc++ filter.
What you have to do is to edit the mtocpp.conf file, located in tools/config folder, and the format you'll be using is this:
add(params) = <parameter1_name> => """Your parameter1 description text in triple quotes""";
An example would be:
add(params) = myVariable => """This variable is defined by me""";
So you can define personalized comments for your Parameters, Fields, Extra Documentation and Global Settings.
I am sure there must be other workarounds to add comments and documentation.

Xcode (10.7) -- clGetProgramBinaries results unreadable

I have an OpenCL kernel that runs well but I want to look at the intermediate code. I use getprograminfo to pull out the binary and save it to a text file. I've tried this with nVidia, AMD, an i7 and a Xeon.
In all of these cases the binary is unreadable.
I understand that on OS X the chunk of data returned is actually a binary plist. I've found instructions for using plutil to convert it to xml, and they work.
It's still unreadable ... though I've seen instructions online that this is where you find the PTX code (in the case of my AMD 5870). There's the expected clBinaryData key but the data under that key is still one big chunk of stuff, not readable IL instructions in text form.
I'd really like to examine the intermediate language to assess inefficiencies in my use of the gpu. Is this simply not possible under Xcode? Or, what am I doing wrong?

If you run your program with following environmental variable set you should see .IL and .ISA files in your directory.
$ GPU_DUMP_DEVICE_KERNEL=3 ./my-program
Another way is to use AMD APP Kernel Analyzer (which comes along with AMD APP SDK) to look at the Intermediate file i.e IL and ISA.
(I am not sure whether AMD APP SDK available for MAC or not).
One more option according to APP SDK documentation, put the below in your host code.
putenv("GPU_DUMP_DEVICE_KERNEL=3");

ocluser's answer was very helpful, in that it was enlightening and caused great learning, though it did not, alas, solve the problem.
I've verified that the environment variable described is being set, and is available to my application when run from within xcode. However, it does not have (under OSX) the highly desirable effect it has under Linux.
But, I now know how to set environment variables in 7 of 8 different ways. I also set "tracer" envars to tell me which methods are effective within the scope of my application. From the below, you can see that both the method of "edit scheme" to add arguments works, as does the "putenv" suggested by ocluser. What didn't set it in that scope: ~/.MACOS/environment.plist, app-specific plist, .profile, and adding a build phase to run a custom script (I found at least one other way within xcode to set one but forgot what I called the tracer and can't find it now; maybe it's on another machine....)

MATLAB profiler. DetailLevel: mmex?

My question is: What is DetailLevel for ? What does the default value mmex mean? I couldn't find an explanation of these keywords on the official documentation.
It's for an old feature of the profiler, which is now undocumented. The DetailLevel property controls which functions are profiled; if it is 'mmex' then M-functions, subfunctions and MEX-functions will be profiled, while if it is 'builtin', builtins will be profiled as well.
