Swift NavBar Hide NavBarItem - swift

Inside of my view controller I have a navBar with an item on the left side and right side. I also have 2 buttons inside of the view controller. I have it so each button does different functionality. I also have the swift file connected to the view.
My issue is that when I do either of the code below inside of my button actions the NavBar Items do not change. I don't know how to remove and add the item back, I also dont understand what Im doing wrong.

This will hide Button

This will show Button

The answer of #dharmesh works, if you create the button programmatically:
let btn = UIButton(type: .system)
btn.setTitle("Indietro", for: btn.state)
btn.addTarget(self, action: #selector(annulla), for: .touchUpInside)
self.navigationItem.leftBarButtonItem = UIBarButtonItem(customView: btn)
If you use the one from the IDE it depends on the IDE itself to store the values to hide or change it

How can I add two images (one at the left and one on the right side) in a button in Xcode programaticly? I need also a title of a button

Found the next solution: Made a custom UIView and added two images and label as a subview of customView. Did the constraints programaticly. Just added UITapGestureRecognizer (addGestureRecognizer) at the entire view and its all elements are clickable. The design and functionality are satisfied.

UIButton doesn't work in child view controller

UIButton gestures doesn't recognize in child view controller.
UIButton add targer work (button get target action)
User interaction is turned on everywhere, button size is okay. I try to set childVC as main, and then all work good, debug view hierarchy said that button view over other elements. IDK where is problem. I can provide more code, just tell me.
Add target code:

The problem was with
childVC.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false
(in mainVC)
When i remove it, childVC recognise my tap
and i dont set additional size for childVC, view of childVC is display correct but not childVC. (as i think)

Nav button needs to go form the last view to the first view

Hello, I have provided the link above to show a visual view of what I am trying to accomplish. So each button is a segue to the next view except the last button is not which is intended. The last two views with the back buttons at the top that are automatically included because of the nav controller I want to have those back buttons go to the first view controller. How can I do this either with xcode and swift?
If you want to remove all the navigation controller then use this code
Put this code in the button selector method

Swift UIButton not appearing on screen

I have a view in my tabbar controller where I would like to show a button. I create this button programmatically based of a condition, therefore I use the following code but nothing is appearing:

I am clueless on what I am doing wrong. Anyone got suggestions? Cause it does print out "Button created" so it definitely runs the code inside the noConnected() method.
Add a background color to your UIButton and add a tint color to the title. This will resolve the problem
Try moving the code to viewDidAppear and see if the button is showing up.
The frame is not correctly set when in viewDidLoad. Use the method viewDidLayoutSubviews for the earliest possible time where the frame is correctly setup for a ViewController.
With this code change, you will need some additional logic for when your button should be added as a subview though.
A programmatically created button may not show up because of more reasons, e.g:
the tint color is not set
the background color is not set
the button is not added to the view hierarchy
the button is hidden
In your case, you should change the tint color or the background color of your button.
E.g.:

You can re-check the button properties in the storyboard that it is not hidden.

How to enable the userinteraction only in the barbutton item of the navigation bar?

I have an application which is having the new Facebook App like UI. In that, a side menu controller is there. It has a button on the navigation bar while clicking on to it will give u the menu. But my problem is in the sample I am using the navigation bar is also can be movable, I fix this by setting userinteractionenabled=no in the navigation bar. But I need to enable the userinteraction only in the buttons in the navigation bar. If I do like what I did the whole navigation bar is became not clickable. Can anybody help me in achieving this?
