Headers are repeating when exporting Crystal Report to .csv format - crystal-reports

I am using Visual Studio to develop a crystal report. I create the application in Visual Studio and then upload the file in some other application where when exporting in .csv, the headers are repeating for every data row.
I googled this and one solution I got was this that under the File Menu, I have to select the export option and for .csv i have to select Isolate page/report section.
But i can't find the export option under the file menu in visual studio.
I am using SAP crystal report plugin in visual studio for development purpose.

Can Visual Studio Code with OmniPascal handle bdsproj files?

I have a couple of projects with bdsproj files and I know they were created with Borland Delphi 2005. Is there a way to open these projects in Visual Studio Code? What settings must be present?
There is no support for .bdsproj files in OmniPascal.
You can load the corresponding .dpr files of the projects in order to get code completion etc but there is no support for automatic generation of build tasks.

Where JasperStudio stores .jrxml files?

I am migrating from Jasper 5.5.x to 6.4.0, using Jaspersoft Studio (no more iReport), but I noticed that after modifying a few reports, JRXML files are not modified (at least not in the folder where .jrxml and .jasper are, from where I opened it). they are in the "workspace".
How can I make Studio to save the jrxml in the same place that .jaspers?
Usually they are saved in the same folder but I don't have experience in migrating from iReport.
You can change the directory where Jasersoft Studio saves the files by right-clicking on your project in the Project Explorer and selecting Properties.
On the left side you select Resources->Linked Resources. Under Path Variables you can set the PROJECT_LOC variable.
Hope this helps

How can I choose the destination of the generated .jasper file into Jaspersoft Studio 6.1?

I am absolutly new in JasperReports and I have the following problem: I am woking on a project that generate an Excel file into Jaspersoft Studio 6.1.0.
After that I save my .jrxml file project and build it, so it seems that it generate the related .jasper file into the Desktop folder of my Windows system.
How can I choose the directory into wich generate this .jasper file?
Unfortunately you can not as in ireport choose where the .jasper is build.
Quoting mrabbi (jasper report staff)
currently in Jaspersoft Studio when compiled the JRXML produces the
.jasper file in the same folder position where they are. This is an
implementation choice.
You can hide them if you don't like to see them and you can configure an "additional" output directory on build (jasper will be copied to this).
In IReport it was Tools > Options > IReport > Compilation and Execution then untick "Use Report Directory to compile" and you could select a new one.

VS 2012 TFS Source Control Explorer - Add Item to Right Click Menu

I have written a PowerShell script that takes a single file as an argument and runs a compare to another file in the background. I'd like to be able to right click a file in Team Foundation Server's Solution Explorer, and choose that file as the argument for my script. I've done the exact same thing for files in the Windows Explorer, but I can't quite figure out how to do it for TFS.
I thought the registry items to be edited would be located at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\TeamFoundation\SourceControl\, but I added an item the same way I added it to the Windows Explorer shell, to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I don't think adding a key to Registry will be enough, you will need to create a Visual Studio Extension for that.
Developing Visual Studio Extensions
Extend Visual Studio
Creating Extensions By Using the VSIX Project Template
There is this SO thread that shows how to do this strictly in Visual Studio using Options -> External Tools and Options->Customizing the context menu.
Add an Item to the visual studio folder right-click menu within AddIn

When deploying Jasper Reports getting error message

Hi I created a simple report using iReport 4.5.1 and when I tried to deploy the report in JasperSoft (Ver 4.5) I am getting the following error message even thought I am selecting the correct JRXML file
The selected JRXML could not be parsed. You might have selected the wrong file.
What could be the issue.
I am using iReport designer to design my reports.
Database: Oracle 11g
I have created a Data Source in JaseperSoft - test connection successfull
I am getting the error message only when I click the browse button to upload the JRXML file when i tried to upload a report file...
Please help....
This error can occur when attempting to deploy a report that uses stored procedures.
You can find this issue at http://jasperforge.org.
This article is about how to call stored procedures from JasperReports.
Try to deploy the report using the jdeploy tool on https://sourceforge.net/projects/jaspertools/?source=directory
Solution:
By default JasperSoft® Studio tries to save and upload the JRXML's in the latest possile JRXML version which may not be compatible with the parser on the server side. You can configure the version used by the studio. Go to Window > Preferences > Jaspersoft Studio > Compatibility and in the Source .jrxml version set the version to 6.2.1. Then open your reports, do a minor change and re-save it. This should re-generate the JRXML that is compatible with previous JasperReports version. You can also set the same compatibility setting on project level by right clicking on the project folder in the Project Explorer > Properties > Jaspersoft Studio > Compatibility

I have created an automatic build option for maven reports. Anyone that is interested please read: http://the-consultants-blog.blogspot.be/2013/06/deploy-jasperreports-with-maven.html
It might come in handy with deployment problems or with mass deployment of jrxmls.
