Eclipse wont start after update - eclipse

Today Eclipse want me to update some stuff. There were different small things in the list to update.
After that I couldn't start anymore.
It always says there is an error and I should look into the log in the metadata.
The log shows the following text:

Any ideas? Is there like a reset or the possibility to delete cache or smth?

It seems your eclipse is corrupted now. Download the latest one.
Which version are you using?

java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation when using JBoss client jar

I am trying to set up an ESB server that uses JBoss client jar. I cannot initiate it because a java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation: is being thrown. Probably because the ESB itself contains slf4j jars internally which I cannot remove.
I am using JBoss EAP 7.1 and trying to configure integration Active Artemis which packed with JBoss. ESB will act as its client
Below is the full stack trace.

How do I get rid of this?

MyEclipse 2017 CI errors with Preferences window

Resolved: I resolved this by just creating a new workspace. I'm not sure exactly what happened to corrupt my old workspace, hard to tell and hard to resolve.
I just installed MyEclipse 2017 CI and converted my old 2016 CI workspace. I did some messing around with my theme, not really sure exactly what I did, nothing out of the ordinary, restarted my Eclipse client, and now I get errors when I try to navigate to Window > Preferences.
Specifically, when I first click Preferences, I get this error, and the Preferences window doesn't open:

Not sure what is going on there, looks like the window model got messed up. In the interests of getting back to work, I suggest either opening a New Window (Window->New Window0 then closing the old window. If that doesn't work, try opening MyEclipse on a new, empty, workspace and import your projects from the old workspace. You may have to reset some preferences and define servers again but at least you'd be up and running! If you make some theme changes again, make a note of what you did as that seems like the source of the problem.

Why do I get an "invalid values" error when I try to access the network settings on Eclipse Mars?

I tried to access the eclipse marketplace and it failed, so I went to check the networking settings and got this:
If I continue the Network Connections tab does not load at first but after clicking off it and on it I can get it to load but Active Provider is blank:
I've tried restarting Eclipse, I get the same error.
I went to the workspace\.metadata\ folder and opened up the .log file, where I found the following:

Does anyone know a way to either fix or just work around this problem? Whether it's a matter of hacking the Eclipse config files or something I don't mind - I just need to get Eclipse online again!
Following the advice here I ran my eclipse with eclipse -clean and the properties window opened fine and I could access the marketplace. I restarted eclipse and everything was still working so it seems to have solved the problem.

Refactor rename reverts changes when pressing enter

I am using shift+alt+r to rename a javascript variable.
"Enter new name, press enter to refactor" comes up in a tooltip.
When I press enter, the refactoring should occur, but instead the variable name is reverted to what it was before.
Why?
I got a question about what the error log shows.
Here it comes:

I think it's clear for you now, that the refactor has failed and because it's an NPE it's probably a bug in the JavaScript Development Tools.
I'd suggest opening a bug at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?component=General&product=JSDT&resolution=--- in Product JSDT, Component General.
You'll need to provide a (preferably minimal) js file where this bug surfaces.
Meanwhile try downloading a newer Eclipse/JSDT (no need to upgrade, just create another Eclipse folder and try to refactor your code there) maybe it's already fixed you're just not using the latest version.
Also worth trying just a restart of Eclipse (close all open files prior to restart).
Note: I've moved to Sublime because the JS editor in Eclipse didn't give me proper support/was buggy.

Deferred binding failed error

I am unable to solve this exception. I am trying to implement the cell table in gwt which is in GWT showcase. Below is my exception.

I am getting here in the below part..
interface DatabaseConstants extends Constants {
String[] contactDatabaseCategories();
}
DatabaseConstants constants = GWT.create(DatabaseConstants.class);
This could be a few things first check you have a DatabaseConstants.properties file to store the values, next ensure that the key contactDatabaseCategories exists and has a comma separated list of values. Also might have to create the constants as a stand alone class
UPDATE
Move the interface to it's own .java file
Create a text file called DatabaseConstants.properties at the same level as the .java file
within that you can put
contactDatabaseCategories=Category1,Category2
That should stop that error and provide you a value for more information take a look at constants
