Microsoft Edge Chromium: How to use "Install this site as an app" (PWA) via PowerShell / Command Prompt - powershell

is there any opportunity to use the very interesting "Install this site as an app" feature of the new Microsoft Edge Chromium Web Browser via PowerShell or Command Prompt? This would be very satisfying since one could run a script-based customization so that specific intranet applications would be as easy accessible for users in Windows as usual apps.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any piece of information on that topic in Microsoft's Knowledge Base sites. Is there no dedicated (PowerShell) command or do I struggle to see the wood for the trees? :/
Thanks in advance.

Chromium would need to implement it, because Edge is based on Chromium.

Title: Automate the google chrome update through scripting for every logon using powershell.
Anyone wants to take a shot at writing the code? If not maybe guide me towards it. I have little experience.
I need google chrome to update the moment the user logs on through a script that I can push to multiple computers at the same time.
Thanks in advance! -Albert
Automagic updates (installs) can be made, but depend upon a number of factors
1) Your level of access
2) Desired level of control over version management
3) Access to network storage resources
If you could explain your environment a bit (better), we might be better able to assist in your endeavors.
I do this sort of thing all the time, but using enterprise tools such as Group Policy, SCCM, etc.
Answer these:
What is the command string to silently UNINSTALL any given version of Chrome?
What is the command string to silently INSTALL any given version of Chrome?
Do you have an .msi installer to use for group policy or SCCM-initiated installs?
Do you have an enterprise configuration management service available for use?
Do you have a domain environment? Access to group policy?
Point being, what have you done to get where you want to be?

How to run windows command in client side(accessing client machine using browser)?

I found many questions about same issue in Stackoverflow. But could not find any satisfactory answers.
My problem is:
I have to run "iperf client" in client machine(assuming windows) using command line in client windows machine and get the statistics.
Currently my server is written in PHP(I am ready to shift to any platform) given that I shall be able to run iperf command on client machine.
I searched and found that, Java applet, ActiveX control or Plugins(like Google Talk plugin). Can someone suggest me the best and easiest approach here(with some reference links if possible).
You cannot run an arbitrary command on the client side using Native Client. What you can do is invoke Pepper API functions from your extension. Another thing you can do is access the Chrome extension API from Javascript. If none of these have the information you need, feel free to suggest new features on the native-client-discuss mailing list. Note that invoking "any Windows command" cannot be reasonably made part of a client-side application, due to security issues.

Running PowerShell scripts programmatically in Azure Web Sites

I want to run PS scripts in C# exactly along the lines of Sample
This works on a Cloud Service (Web Role), on a standard server (with execution policy disabled), but not in a Azure Web Site.
Anyone know why this is so?
I don't know of any official documentation on the issue but there are multiple answers on the related forums where Microsoft employees talk about the limitations of not being able/allowed to launch external processes in Windows Azure Web Sites. See
PHP - Warning: exec(): Unable to fork
PDF Generator failing on Azure Website but not development machine
Recommended HTML to PDF Generator that works on Azure Website Reserved mode with Full Trust
You are probably trying to do that with your powershell script.
You could verify if that is in fact your issue by catching and looking at the exception(s) which should relate to security policies/permissions.

Visual Web Developer is missing from Web Platform Installer 3?

Call me blind but how exactly do we suppose to install Visual Web Developer with Web Platform Installer 3? There is no such an option. The other options do not install it, e.g. WebMatrix, MVC3.
Open Web PI and type Visual Web Developer in the search textbox, hit enter. If it is supported on your platform, you will see it in search results.

How to add additional installer to start menu using ClickOnce

I have created a solution that comprise of a WPF application and a mobile device application. What I am trying to figure out is how to facilitate the installation of the mobile application.
When I publish and install the WPF desktop application it creates a start menu folder for the application. Optimally I would like to add the mobile application .msi to this menu but I'm not sure if this is supported by ClickOnce.
Any advice or guidance would be most hopeful.
I suggest looking at Inno Setup. Its a free installer for windows applications and has a simple scripting/wizard process. It'll provide this and all the normal installer functions (install location, start menu, desktop icon etc). It also provides an uninstaller
