While installing MongoDB in Windows 10, I'm facing this unexpected error. I had already install/uninstall setup many times and also disable my antivirus while installing this setup, still same issue.
Any suggestions?

I am installing SQL Workbench in Windows. While Starting the server, the app failed in this step. I have tried to set full access permission for the folder that points to the path. However, it still failed. The details have been attached below:
What can be the reasons here? Thanks a lot for your help.
The solution that I already used to fix this problem. I used the lastest JDK version. it worked for me.
I am trying to install pgAdmin4 in my windows machine. I am getting error message of connection to server failed.
I found a similar kind of issue here but the solution doesn't work. I have been struggling with the issue and didn't found any working solution. Earlier, I have PostgreSql 15 version installed but the 15 version was not compatible with yii2 project of mine. So, I uninstalled the PostgreSQL 15 version and reinstalled PostgreSQL 13. After reinstalling I start getting this error.
I tried to restart the services of postgresql from Task Manager -> Services but didn't worked.
Can anyone suggest me what I am doing wrong or what can I do get this fixed.
Many Thanks.
I am trying to install MongoDB on Windows 7 Enterprise (32bit) VM running in VirtualBox on Windows7 Ultimate 64bit.
The MongoD.exe start up reports a missing Microsoft Hotfix, KB2731284. I downloaded and installed the hot fix on the VM. The hotfix was not required on the Host PC.
Mongod.exe still reported it was not installed. Ran the hotfix a second time and it reported that it was already installed.
I tried uninstalling an reinstalling mongoDB, no luck.
Stuck, any ideas?
MongoDB.com lists stackoverflow as the support portal.

I think you can run MongoDb without applying the Hotfix, but I would not recommend it. In long time you may run into problems. They have included some fixes in MongoDB to workaround the problem.
On Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 when applying the hotfix you get a better file allocation performance what is relevant for MongoDB
So when using mongo 2.6.0 there is workaround implemented.
Just installed latest version of Edine from nodeclipse, and in the console that is the only message outside of path information for the directory the project is stationed in. Also tried grabbing the latest default version and tried to install via New Software with similar results.
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\express-work\1406755265579/test
Unexpected Exception
Anyone had this ever work? All methods I'm finding online seem to be broken.
This is on Windows 7 64 bit.
For anyone that arrives at this question and has the same issue.
I was under the mistaken understanding that when installing Nodeclipse, it also installed node.js, express, and mongodb. This is not the case. Installing node.js and express resolved this issue.
I'm having a similar problem to one of the earlier questions, but none of the recommendations has solved the problem. Trying to install PyDev in eclipse always fails to read the necessary files. I have the latest version of Eclipse (updated), I have tried multiple PyDev links including the nightly builds, and have tried installing Aptana. All will fail with the same sort of failed to read error. Would post a picture, but can't as a new user.
So it looks like my firewall was disrupting the installation to the point that it just timed out. There weren't any indications that this was happening, but the install works fine from an unsecured network (hotspot), but consistently fails behind a corporate firewall. I retested once I was behind the firewall again, and replicated the failure. I've seen this same time-out error in multiple questions that ultimately didn't get answered, so just wanted to include the resolution for my case.
