Folder is not being included in AEM package - aem

I am trying to make a package of a specific folder "/content/diagnostics/states" to migrate it to a different instance of AEM. but it's not being included when I try to build the package, the package manager is just giving me an empty "/content/diagnostics" folder. Any idea of whats going on?
See screenshots:

Figured it out, all the nodes were there in a hidden .content.xml file

Ripple to Paket -- is there a better way?

I'm in the process of converting a handful of projects from ripple to Paket. The way I do this is install Paket, then take my ripple.config and copy my sources and nugets over to my paket.dependencies, taking care to == the versions that I have fixed. Then I .paket/paket install over and over and over again trying to resolve versioning errors that come up from that.
After that, I open all my .csproj files and add an extra ..\ to all the HintPaths before opening my project and manually resolving whatever errors pop up.
Is there a better way to do this? I know there's a ripple-to-paket converter but I not only couldn't get it to work, but many people I work with say that it's terrible.
Thank you.
1 add a paket.references file in each project's folder
In each of your project files' folder, you should create a paket.references and list there the package name (only, the other info is kept consistent in your paket.dependencies in your root folder).
2 make sure the actual reference are handled with paket
you can manually remove the reference in the project files (either from VS or edit the project file), and call paket install which will add them (according to paket.references in the project's folder) with an additional <Paket>True</Paket> node (making it clear that this reference is handled by paket itself)
I think this is it.

How to put Nuget libraries on a folder

i generally add any library from Nuget to my project like issuing this command
Install-Package Mvc3Futures
then i have seen everything related to that library just added in my project. some one told me that library can be added to folder and later we can add that folder to my project like this way tools > options > package manager - add your folder .
really i have no idea how we can add library to any folder from Nuget. if it is possible then please show me the way in step-by-steps. thanks
I cannot give you a step-by-step, but you can relocate/specify the place of the packages folder: Is it possible to change the location of packages for NuGet?. But this way all of your packages location will change, I don't think you can do that per package. During installation you can specify where you install the package from (but not to): http://docs.nuget.org/docs/reference/command-line-reference, see Install Command.

Fail to create custom UI component in ZK framework

Trying to create custom UI component going through ZK 6.0.1 Component Development Essentials.
Always got error in logs "http://localhost:8080/zk6/zkau/web/_zv2011051111/js/examples.com.foo.wpd : HTTP Status 404 - /js/examples.com.foo.wpd" when trying to use custom component.
Found the war file with this example in scala, it works OK. I have copied all files from it to my project, and got same error.
The project structure is according to tutorial. What might be wrong?
You have to put the web folder, which contains the js files, in the java classpath, that means it should be put under the src folder. More easy way is to use the ZK Maven Archetype to create the template for you.
At least the way IntelliJ IDEA does things (which I see your are using, as am I), simply placing the web folder under the src folder doesn't seem to automatically get it copied to the artifact (although I'm not sure why). So I tried manually putting it in the WEB-INF/classes folder, and that worked. So the correct path for your example is <project-root>/web/WEB-INF/classes/web/js/examples/com/foo/zk.wpd.

package folder already used in project netbeans

I am trying to create a new project in netbeans. But when I add folder in the projects it always throws error: "package folder already used in project netbeans".
I deleted all folders in c:/users/../.netbeans/6.9/var/.
Still I am getting the same issue. The error mentions a folder already packaged as some old package name, but that old package name is not available in my system folders. Can anyone please help me?
I found the solution: Actually my folder already contained a pom.xml file. Due to that it was not taking the new projects. I found this solution from this link.
If your existing project folder contains a sub folder called "nbproject" . Delete the folder and then add it .The folder contains files regarding previous net-beans related project settings.
I am importing in Net-beans 7.2 from an earlier version.
I had this problem and used all of the mentioned way but could not solve it. I change the name of folder that want to add and now it work properly.

How to use AIDL files in eclipse

I am compiling an app which is a sample app that uses an api. The api contains interface files (java files) and aidl files. Now I have problem in one of the interface file it cannot recognize the one of these aidl files exists in my project.
I have linked the whole api to the build path.
Does anyone has any idea ??
I had the same error, but it was fixed when I cleaned and rebuilded the project.
Projects -> clean project so it can automatically rebuild.
Look closely at your manifest file, check that the package etc are
spelled as you'd expect.
Also dont forget to paste the server's *.aidl and parcelable implementation (java) to your client project. These files has to have the same name and package as they were in the server project.
Here is some similar posts which might help:
ITelephony.aidl not compiling in eclipse
There are basically two possibilities.
(most likely) you need to make the folder that contains aidl files source folder. if you haven't done so, please do it.
You need a clean build.
