ECharts - Change bar chart line height - charts

I'm creating a chart using Echarts and it looks like this on my page:
This causes me two issues, the first is that it's really bad to see the data in the graph, so I need to make the bars bigger.
The second issue is that the bar labels (on the left) are being cut.
My chart config is similar to this, it only has more data in it:

the solution was simple.
After messing around with both the echarts docs and the Laravel Charts that I was using, i managed to get what I wanted by setting a height property at my chart config.
Something like this:

echarts: bar chart start at value?

echarts: bar chart bars are located left and right of the value on the category axis:
How to tell echarts to start the bar with the value on the category axis? Like this:
To clarify the problem, here ist another example. This is a chart of the hourly sum of precipitation. Every bar should show the sum from the bottom to the top of the hour, the data values are conencted to every bottom of the hour.
as you can see, the bars are not starting at 8:00, they are starting at 7:30.

You have not provided the complete chart config, so I recommend using this one. Also pay attention on method useUTC and you need to know that "By default, echarts uses local timezone to formate time labels"

Multiple bars with same category name show differently based on array of arrays or array of objects

I noticed that using
option = {

There are two bars with category as 'Sun'. But if I use

yAxis: {

I see only one bar for 'Sun' with both data elements overlapping. Why does it work with array of objects differently? Also, if instead of using inline data, if I use dataset, then both array of arrays and array of objects behave the same where there is only one bar with overlap.
The reason I am looking for clarity on this is, I have a visualMap with a different attribute for color which makes the data repeat. I am trying to figure out if I need to create separate series or use the same series.
In general is bad idea to naming data points the same name. Strange that the data in the first case did not merge... If you need make the group then in the Echarts it's named stack. For the stack you can use the same name and it will be joined into one group.
VisualMap usually the global option and affects all series but you can limit with seriesIndex.

How can configure my y-axis on chart.js?

I am trying to build graph.
My y-axis start with 0 here, I dont know how to configure it and why it is talking 0 - I see other post which mentioned scaleOverride:true, scaleStartValue:0.1, scaleStepWidth:5 - I dont know how to use that in my below code , how can configure y-axis in chart.js.
Any pointer would be

Thank you guys for helping, I observed that chart.js will automatically take value for y-axis based on your data, you can change y/x-axis setting under Options > Scales , I also needed to change step size of y-axis and get rid of x-axis grid line,"ticks" is something I was looking for, here is my sample code and steps to achieved all these.
Step 1) Canvas this is place holder where your chart will display on JSP

Step 2) Create sample datasets (this is JSON you need to create based on your requirement but make sure you provide exact the same formated JSON response as given below along with your data.

Just remove the stacked option and it will stop starting from 0 (unless your data starts from 0).

For stacked charts, Chart.js builds a list of positive and negative sums for each stack (bar) and then uses that to figure out the scale min and max values. If there are no negative values, the list of negative sums is a list of 0s. This forces the scale min to be 0.
scaleStartValue, scaleStepWidth, etc. are options from v1.x of Chart.js. You are using v2.x. See How to make integer scale in Chartjs for the 2.x equivalents.

colors for single series in highcharts

I am trying to achieve something like shown in the picture.
my code is below, in that for "90", and "130", and "110" i want to give separate colors,is there any way (fixed)

You can initialize each point as an object instead of just a value, and then supply a color attribute. For example (JSFiddle):
series: [{
data: [{ y: 7.0, color: 'orange' }, { y: 6.9, color: 'green' }, { y: 9.5, color: 'blue' }]
}]
Or you can set the series to colorByPoint and use the colors array, for example (JSFiddle):
colors: ['orange', 'green', 'blue'],

data: [7.0, 6.9, 9.5]

custom x axis label and tooltip in dojo chart

My json looks like this

the chart is rendering properly but the xaxis values are taken default (1,2,3..).
But i need to give the axis value as the Time in my json.
Xaxis should be like 02:52,02:54,02:56
Also in the tool tip it showing only the value i have given the series. But i would like to add the value+ xaxis value. Say for example 100 at 02:54.
Could someone help me on this.
You can specify custom labels for each value as follows:

You can also specify custom tooltip text as follows:

In your case since you are using a store, the JSON that feeds the store needs to have a "tooltip" attribute for each value - dojo will use that to populate the tooltip
