How to set custom location for floating action button in flutter? - flutter

Im trying to make a clone of sportify and I want to set a floating action button
Any help?

Can you put floating action button in custom location via Align Widget
Example:
Align(
alignment: Alignment.center,
child: FloatingActionButton(),
),
And you can get more specific locations through Chang center word

Try this ,
class PlayerScreen extends StatelessWidget {
const PlayerScreen({Key? key}) : super(key: key);
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return Scaffold(
body: CustomScrollView(
physics: const BouncingScrollPhysics(
parent: AlwaysScrollableScrollPhysics()),
slivers: <Widget>[
SliverAppBar(
stretch: true,
onStretchTrigger: () {
// Function callback for stretch
return Future<void>.value();
},
expandedHeight: 300.0,
flexibleSpace: FlexibleSpaceBar(
stretchModes: const <StretchMode>[
StretchMode.zoomBackground,
StretchMode.blurBackground,
StretchMode.fadeTitle,
],
centerTitle: true,
title: FloatingActionButton(
child: Icon(
Icons.play_arrow,
size: 30,
),
onPressed: () {},
backgroundColor: Colors.greenAccent[400],
),
background: Stack(
fit: StackFit.expand,
children: <Widget>[
Image.network(
'https://flutter.github.io/assets-for-api-docs/assets/widgets/owl-2.jpg',
fit: BoxFit.cover,
),
const DecoratedBox(
decoration: BoxDecoration(
gradient: LinearGradient(
begin: Alignment(0.0, 0.5),
end: Alignment.center,
colors: <Color>[
Color(0x60000000),
Color(0x00000000),
],
),
),
),
],
),
),
),
SliverList(
delegate: SliverChildBuilderDelegate((ctx, index) {
return ListTile(
leading: Icon(Icons.wb_sunny),
title: Text('Song $index'),
subtitle: Text("description"),
);
}, childCount: 20),
),
],
),
);
}
}

not overlap SliverToBoxAdapter with a transparent SliverAppBar

Is it possible for a SliverToBoxAdapter to not be overlaped with a transparentSliverAppBar when scrolled upon?
Or give up on using SliverAppBar and just use AppBar instead?
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return SafeArea(
child: Stack(
children: [
Image(
image: bkgImage,
height: MediaQuery.of(context).size.height,
width: MediaQuery.of(context).size.width,
fit: BoxFit.cover,
alignment: Alignment.centerLeft,
),
Scaffold(
backgroundColor: Colors.transparent,
body: CustomScrollView(
slivers: [
SliverAppBar(
actions: <Widget>[
IconButton(
icon: const Icon(Icons.search),
onPressed: () {},
),

snap: _snap,
floating: _floating,
expandedHeight: 160,
backgroundColor: Colors.transparent,
elevation: 0.0,

SliverList(

]),
)
],
),
),
],
),
);
}
The goal is this:
Precious view:
To get actual effect, we can use SliverPersistentHeaderDelegate. Concept is we need to pass image itself [both image must be screen size].
class MySliverHeaderDelegate extends SliverPersistentHeaderDelegate {
final double _maxExtent = 160;
final VoidCallback onActionTap;
final Image imageWidget;
MySliverHeaderDelegate({
required this.onActionTap,
required this.imageWidget,
});
#override
Widget build(
BuildContext context, double shrinkOffset, bool overlapsContent) {
debugPrint(shrinkOffset.toString());
return Stack(
children: [
Positioned(
top: 0,
left: 0,
right: 0,
child: imageWidget,
),
Align(
alignment: Alignment.bottomLeft,
child: Padding(
padding: const EdgeInsets.all(16),
child: Text(
'Panahon',
style: Theme.of(context).textTheme.titleLarge?.copyWith(
color: Colors.white,
),
),
),
),
// here provide actions
Positioned(
top: 0,
right: 0,
child: IconButton(
icon: const Icon(
Icons.search,
color: Colors.white,
),
onPressed: onActionTap,
),
),
],
);
}
#override
double get maxExtent => _maxExtent;
#override
double get minExtent => kToolbarHeight;
#override
bool shouldRebuild(covariant MySliverHeaderDelegate oldDelegate) {
return oldDelegate != this;
}
}
And use
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
final imageWidget = Image.asset(
"assets/images/image01.png",
height: MediaQuery.of(context).size.height,
width: MediaQuery.of(context).size.width,
fit: BoxFit.cover,
alignment: Alignment.centerLeft,
);
return SafeArea(
child: Stack(
children: [
imageWidget,
Scaffold(
backgroundColor: Colors.transparent,
body: CustomScrollView(
slivers: [
SliverPersistentHeader(
pinned: true,
delegate: MySliverHeaderDelegate(
imageWidget: imageWidget,
onActionTap: () {
debugPrint("on Tap");
}),
),
//.....
],
),
),
],
),
);
}
Others way to handle this situation
Being SliverAppBar's backgroundColor:Colors.transparent you are able to see though appbar.
If you provide your preferable color, that will fix the issue in this case, but you will not get background effect on appBar.
SliverAppBar(
backgroundColor: Colors.green, // the one you like
For your case, you can use CupertinoSliverNavigationBar instead of using SliverAppBar. It will still block the background on scroll and it won't get that much height.
CupertinoSliverNavigationBar(
backgroundColor: Colors.transparent,
largeTitle: const Align(
alignment: Alignment.bottomLeft,
child: SizedBox(
child: Text('Panahon'),
),
),
trailing: IconButton(
icon: const Icon(Icons.search),
onPressed: () {},
),
),

Flutter : Sliverappbar sketch scroll

I trying to create same UI/UX like this, image resize fit to appbar while scrolling, I have try using SliverAppBar and put image widget into title.
Facing issue
image now overlap under leading and action icons
due to expandedHeight , different ratio of image might get cut
SliverAppBar(
backgroundColor: Colors.black,
leading: BackIcon()
expandedHeight: context.mediaQuerySize.width,
floating: false,
pinned: true,
snap: false,
stretch: true,
flexibleSpace: FlexibleSpaceBar(
centerTitle: true,
stretchModes: [StretchMode.fadeTitle],
title: Container(
margin: EdgeInsets.only(left: 15, right: 15),
child: ClipRRect(
borderRadius: BorderRadius.circular(10),
child: CachedNetworkImage(
imageUrl: imagePath,
fit: BoxFit.cover,
),
),
),
),
actions: [
ShareIcon()
],
),
You could try influencing the size/positioning of the image or button padding with the CustomScrollView's scrollController.offset value. For example: https://i.imgur.com/T8Sq4vS.gifv
import 'dart:math';
import 'package:flutter/material.dart';
class CollapsingAvatarPage extends StatefulWidget {
const CollapsingAvatarPage({Key? key}) : super(key: key);
#override
State<CollapsingAvatarPage> createState() => _CollapsingAvatarPageState();
}
class _CollapsingAvatarPageState extends State<CollapsingAvatarPage> {
ScrollController scrollController = ScrollController();
#override
void initState() {
super.initState();
scrollController.addListener(() {
setState(() {});
});
}
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return CustomScrollView(
controller: scrollController,
slivers: [
SliverAppBar(
backgroundColor: Colors.black,
leading: const Icon(Icons.arrow_back),
actions: const [
ActionIcon(iconData: Icons.share),
ActionIcon(iconData: Icons.flag),
],
pinned: true,
stretch: true,
collapsedHeight: 80,
expandedHeight: MediaQuery.of(context).size.height * 0.55,
flexibleSpace: FlexibleSpaceBar(
background: Container(
decoration: const BoxDecoration(
gradient: LinearGradient(
colors: [Colors.white60, Colors.black],
begin: Alignment.topCenter,
end: Alignment.bottomCenter,
),
),
),
title: Container(
width: max(
100,
280 -
(scrollController.hasClients
? scrollController.offset * 0.4
: 0),
),
padding: const EdgeInsets.only(
left: 15,
right: 15,
top: 15,
),
child: ClipRRect(
borderRadius: BorderRadius.circular(10),
child: const FittedBox(
fit: BoxFit.fitHeight,
child: Image(
image: AssetImage('image.png'),
),
),
),
),
),
),
SliverList(
delegate: SliverChildBuilderDelegate(
(context, index) => const Placeholder(),
childCount: 100,
),
)
],
);
}
}
class ActionIcon extends StatelessWidget {
const ActionIcon({
Key? key,
required this.iconData,
}) : super(key: key);
final IconData iconData;
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return Padding(
padding: const EdgeInsets.symmetric(horizontal: 16),
child: Icon(iconData),
);
}
}

Shrink SliverAppBar Image animation Like Title Text in Flutter

I am trying to replicate the text shrink effect that comes naturally with a SliverAppBar with an image such that the background image of the sliverhead shrinks to a leading icon in the appbar of the sliverAppBar.
I have tried using the AnimatedPostioned flutter widget along with a scroll controller that toggles the state of the isSkrink boolean when the page is scrolled.
Below is AnimatedPosition widget:
AnimatedPositioned(
width: isShrink ? 10.0 : 200.0,
height: isShrink ? 10.0 : 200.0,
duration: Duration(seconds: 2),
curve: Curves.linear,
child: Stack(
children: [
Container(
child: Image.asset(
'assets/images/user-avatar.png'),
),
],
),
),
Below is the SliverAppBar with the AnimatedPositioned in the stack and the user icon in the leading param of the SliverAppBar
SliverAppBar(
leading: isShrink
? Padding(
padding: EdgeInsets.all(10),
child: CircleAvatar(
backgroundImage:
AssetImage('assets/images/user-avatar.png'),
backgroundColor: Colors.white,
radius: 3,
),
)
: Container(),
floating: true,
pinned: true,
flexibleSpace: FlexibleSpaceBar(
title: Row(
children: <Widget>[
Text(
"Username",
style: bodyText1Style(
context,
color: isShrink ? Colors.black : Colors.white,
fontSize: isShrink ? 18 : 15,
fontWeight: FontWeight.w600,
),
),
],
),
background: Stack(
children: <Widget>[
AnimatedPositioned(
width: isShrink ? 10.0 : 200.0,
height: isShrink ? 10.0 : 200.0,
duration: Duration(seconds: 2),
curve: Curves.linear,
child: Stack(
children: [
Container(
child: Image.asset(
'assets/images/user-avatar.png'),
),
],
),
),
],
),
),
expandedHeight: size.height * 0.35,
);
This is the result of the code above:
After a long research I was able to come with this using https://stackoverflow.com/a/59323713/3636615 as reference:
Scaffold(
body: CustomScrollView(
slivers: <Widget>[
TransitionAppBar(
// extent: 250,
extent: 300,
avatar: Container(
decoration: BoxDecoration(
image: DecorationImage(
image: AssetImage(
'assets/images/user-avatar.png'), // NetworkImage(user.imageUrl),
fit: BoxFit.cover)),
),
title: "Emmanuel Olu-Flourish",
),
SliverList(
delegate: SliverChildBuilderDelegate((context, index) {
return Container(
child: ListTile(
title: Text("${index}a"),
));
}, childCount: 25))
],
),
);
Check out the TransitionAppBar implementation here:

Below is demo of the result:

How to Give BorderRadius to SliverList

I am using SliverAppBar and SliverListView in my project.
I need BorderRadius to my SliverList that is coming bottom of my SliverAppBar.
Here is screenshot what I need :
And here is my code:
Scaffold(
body: CustomScrollView(
slivers: <Widget>[
SliverAppBar(
backgroundColor: Colors.transparent,
brightness: Brightness.dark,
actions: <Widget>[
IconButton(icon: Icon(Icons.favorite), onPressed: () {}),
IconButton(icon: Icon(Icons.share), onPressed: () {})
],
floating: false,
pinned: false,
//title: Text("Flexible space title"),
expandedHeight: getHeight(context) - MediaQuery.of(context).padding.top,
flexibleSpace: Container(
height: double.infinity,
width: double.infinity,
decoration: BoxDecoration(
image: DecorationImage(
fit: BoxFit.cover,
image: AssetImage("assets/images/Rectangle-image.png")
)
),
),
bottom: _bottomWidget(context),
),
SliverList(
delegate: SliverChildListDelegate(listview),
),
],
),
)
So, with this code the UI is coming like this...
can suggest any other approach that i can take to achieve this kind of design...
I achieved this design using SliverToBoxAdapter my code like this.
final sliver = CustomScrollView(
slivers: <Widget>[
SliverAppBar(),
SliverToBoxAdapter(
child: Container(
color: Color(0xff5c63f1),
height: 20,
child: Column(
mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.end,
children: <Widget>[
Container(
height: 20,
decoration: BoxDecoration(
color: Colors.white,
borderRadius: BorderRadius.only(
topLeft: const Radius.circular(20.0),
topRight: const Radius.circular(20.0),
),
),
),
],
),
),
),
SliverList(),
],
);
I used 2 containers inside SliverToBoxAdapter.
SliverToBoxAdapter is between the Sliver Appbar and the Sliver List.
first I create a blue (should be Appbar color) container for the corner edge.
then I create the same height white container with border-radius inside the blue container for list view.

Solution
At the time of writing, there is no widget that would support this functionality. The way to do it is with Stack widget and with your own SliveWidget
Before:
Here is your default code:
import 'package:flutter/material.dart';
void main() {
runApp(MyApp());
}
class MyApp extends StatelessWidget {
// This widget is the root of your application.
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return MaterialApp(
title: 'Flexible space title',
home: MyHomePage(),
);
}
}
class MyHomePage extends StatelessWidget {
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return DefaultTabController(
length: 2,
child: Scaffold(
body: CustomScrollView(
slivers: <Widget>[
SliverAppBar(
backgroundColor: Colors.transparent,
brightness: Brightness.dark,
actions: <Widget>[IconButton(icon: Icon(Icons.favorite), onPressed: () {}), IconButton(icon: Icon(Icons.share), onPressed: () {})],
floating: false,
pinned: false,
expandedHeight: 250 - MediaQuery.of(context).padding.top,
flexibleSpace: Container(
height: 550,
width: double.infinity,
decoration: BoxDecoration(
image: DecorationImage(
fit: BoxFit.cover,
image: NetworkImage(
'https://images.unsplash.com/photo-1561752888-21eb3b67eb4e?ixlib=rb-1.2.1&ixid=eyJhcHBfaWQiOjEyMDd9&auto=format&fit=crop&w=967&q=80'))),
),
//bottom: _bottomWidget(context),
),
SliverList(
delegate: SliverChildListDelegate(_listview(50)),
),
],
),
),
);
}
}
List _listview(int count) {
List<Widget> listItems = List();
listItems.add(Container(
color: Colors.black,
height: 50,
child: TabBar(
tabs: [FlutterLogo(), FlutterLogo()],
),
));
for (int i = 0; i < count; i++) {
listItems.add(new Padding(padding: new EdgeInsets.all(20.0), child: new Text('Item ${i.toString()}', style: new TextStyle(fontSize: 25.0))));
}
return listItems;
}
After
And here is your code done with Stack and SliveWidget widgets:
import 'package:flutter/material.dart';
import 'package:flutter/rendering.dart';
void main() {
runApp(MyApp());
}
class MyApp extends StatelessWidget {
// This widget is the root of your application.
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return MaterialApp(
title: 'Flexible space title',
home: MyHomePage(),
);
}
}
class MyHomePage extends StatelessWidget {
#override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return DefaultTabController(
length: 2,
child: Scaffold(
body: Stack(
children: [
Container(
height: 550,
width: double.infinity,
decoration: BoxDecoration(
image: DecorationImage(
fit: BoxFit.cover,
image: NetworkImage(
'https://images.unsplash.com/photo-1561752888-21eb3b67eb4e?ixlib=rb-1.2.1&ixid=eyJhcHBfaWQiOjEyMDd9&auto=format&fit=crop&w=967&q=80'))),
),
CustomScrollView(
anchor: 0.4,
slivers: <Widget>[
SliverWidget(
child: Container(
width: double.infinity,
height: 100,
decoration: BoxDecoration(
color: Colors.yellow, borderRadius: BorderRadius.only(topLeft: Radius.circular(30), topRight: Radius.circular(30))),
child: TabBar(
tabs: [FlutterLogo(), FlutterLogo()],
),
),
),
SliverList(
delegate: SliverChildListDelegate(_listview(50)),
),
],
),
],
),
),
);
}
}
List _listview(int count) {
List<Widget> listItems = List();
for (int i = 0; i < count; i++) {
listItems.add(
Container( //NOTE: workaround to prevent antialiasing according to: https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/25009
decoration: BoxDecoration(
color: Colors.white, //the color of the main container
border: Border.all(
//apply border to only that side where the line is appearing i.e. top | bottom | right | left.
width: 2.0, //depends on the width of the unintended line
color: Colors.white)),
child: Container(
padding: EdgeInsets.all(20),
color: Colors.white,
child: new Text(
'Item ${i.toString()}',
style: new TextStyle(fontSize: 25.0),
),
),
),
);
}
return listItems;
}
class SliverWidget extends SingleChildRenderObjectWidget {
SliverWidget({Widget child, Key key}) : super(child: child, key: key);
#override
RenderObject createRenderObject(BuildContext context) {
// TODO: implement createRenderObject
return RenderSliverWidget();
}
}
class RenderSliverWidget extends RenderSliverToBoxAdapter {
RenderSliverWidget({
RenderBox child,
}) : super(child: child);
#override
void performResize() {}
#override
void performLayout() {
if (child == null) {
geometry = SliverGeometry.zero;
return;
}
final SliverConstraints constraints = this.constraints;
child.layout(constraints.asBoxConstraints(/* crossAxisExtent: double.infinity */), parentUsesSize: true);
double childExtent;
switch (constraints.axis) {
case Axis.horizontal:
childExtent = child.size.width;
break;
case Axis.vertical:
childExtent = child.size.height;
break;
}
assert(childExtent != null);
final double paintedChildSize = calculatePaintOffset(constraints, from: 0.0, to: childExtent);
final double cacheExtent = calculateCacheOffset(constraints, from: 0.0, to: childExtent);
assert(paintedChildSize.isFinite);
assert(paintedChildSize >= 0.0);
geometry = SliverGeometry(
scrollExtent: childExtent,
paintExtent: 100,
paintOrigin: constraints.scrollOffset,
cacheExtent: cacheExtent,
maxPaintExtent: childExtent,
hitTestExtent: paintedChildSize,
);
setChildParentData(child, constraints, geometry);
}
}
Use Stack. It's the best and smooth way I found and used.

Worked for me!
SliverAppBar(
pinned: true,
floating: false,
centerTitle: true,
title: TextWidget(detail.title,
weight: FontWeight.bold
),
expandedHeight: MediaQuery.of(context).size.height/2.5,
flexibleSpace: FlexibleSpaceBar(
centerTitle: true,
collapseMode: CollapseMode.parallax,
background: Stack(

pagination: SwiperPagination.dots,
loop: detail.banners.length > 1,
itemBuilder: (BuildContext context, int index) {
return Image.network(
'https://image.com?image=123.png',
fit: BoxFit.cover
);
}
),
//Border radius
Align(
alignment: Alignment.bottomCenter,
child: Container(
color: Colors.transparent,
height: 20,
child: Column(
mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.end,
children: <Widget>[
Container(

topLeft: const Radius.circular(10),
topRight: const Radius.circular(10),
),
),
),
],
),
),
)
],
),
),
)
So the best way to achieve your result is to use "bottom" poperty inside SliverAppBar. This will add your rounded container to bottom of appbar / start of sliverlist
bottom: PreferredSize(
preferredSize: const Size.fromHeight(24),
child: Container(
width: double.infinity,
decoration: const BoxDecoration(
borderRadius: BorderRadius.vertical(
top: Radius.circular(12),
),
color: Colors.white,
),
child: Column(
children: [
Padding(
padding: const EdgeInsets.symmetric(vertical: 10),
child: Container(
width: 40,
height: 4,
decoration: BoxDecoration(
color: Colors.black,
borderRadius: BorderRadius.circular(2),
),
),
),
],
),
),
),
The idea is good but it looks odd in some cases.
You could give a borderRadius to your first element in your list
Container(
decoration: BoxDecoration(
borderRadius: BorderRadius.only(
topRight: Radius.circular(index == 0 ? 15 : 0),
topLeft: Radius.circular(index == 0 ? 15 : 0),
),
),
)

Gradient in SliverAppBar (Flutter)?

Has anyone used Gradient in SliverAppBar? I can do it in FlexibleSpace when it's expanded, but when it's collapsed it gets a solid color. Is it possible to treat this?
Wrap a new Container Widget in FlexibleSpaceBar, then add BoxDecoration, LinearGradient under the container.
Unless I'm missing something, this should do what you're asking.
