How to find the favicon for the New Tab page? - favicon

Just recently, Chrome seems to have updated and there is now a favicon for the New Tab page. I've been trying to find the new favicon for it, but I've had no luck. Is there any way to find it? Thanks.

favicon when opening image in new tab

When I right click on my website logo and click on open image in new tab, there is only a generic favicon.
Is there a way to pass the favicon information to this specific page?
not the websites favicon
Yes, if you have a favicon.ico file in the root directory of your website browsers should (as in: are supposed to) use this for any file served from that domain.

How to show favicon in subdomain xml file

I have a subdomain feeds.domain.com, The root Directory for this subdomain is in main domain(/public_html/feeds/), I
I have placed favicon in root(/public_html/) and subdomain root(/public_html/feeds/) directory.
Now favicon is not displayed in browser for xml files that are in subdomain, xml files in other directory are showing favicon though.
Why browser is not picking favicon for xml from subdomain.
Example url where favicon not showing is feeds.domain.com/all/index.xml
Example url where favicon showing is www.domain.com/feeds/all/index.xml, (this is sub domain directory showing favicon when accessed directly from domain)
If I enter url feeds.domain.com/favicon.ico browser displays favicon.
Please see and suggest any possible way to do this.
Thanks.
I got it solved, I deleted all browser history and cleared browser cache now it is showing favicon, I hope this helps others too with same issue.
Thanks.

Facebook Custom IFrame Tabs and Internet Explorer 8 Issue

I have created my first IFrame App in facebook (custom tab), and all the IFrame is directing to is a simple PHP page, with HTML tags stating Hello World...
However, this is showing up in Firefox and Chrome, but not in Internet Explorer - and I cannot figure out why; even tried googling it to no avail.
Please help me! I cannot move forward without solving this issue!!
did you already fixed this? I figured out that the Internet Explorer has a differend handling for parameters. I faced the same issue: my cutom tab (iframe) was working perfectly on Firefox, Opera, Chrome, but never shown IN IE7+8.
Later I realized that I added a questionmark to the URL, but w/o any parameter, like this:
http://www.mydomain.com/mypage.html?
Solution: If you just only want to embedd an html page, you don't need to do this any longer. Just create your Facebook app, go to "Facebook Integration", scroll down to "Page Tabs", add a "Tab Name" and the "Tab URL". Don't add a "?" to the Tab URL.
Once I removed the "?" the custom iframe tab is shown in Internet Explorer 7 and 8.

Favicon shows incorrect image

I have a page which was copied from another site and modified. I am referring to a favicon in my new site. When I view the page it's showing the correct favicon, but when view the source it's showing the favicon for the older site.
What could be the problem?
Favicon caching in browsers is virtually impossible to control. Even if you clear your cache, the browser probably won't clear favicons until a random time in the future it feels like doing so.
New users of your site will see the new favicon. Old users will eventually see the new icon.
