Pagination in Drop Down (Flutter) - flutter

Is there any way to use drop-down with pagination feature in flutter?. Basically, I need to update drop-down items on the API changes(with limit and offset).

If regardless you get the solution to achieve let's say, it's not a good practice to use pagination for something like a dropdown. If the response is something that gives a lot of data, it's not a great User Experience to make them scroll down to find anyways.
One approach you can take is to take the user to another screen/modal dialog/modal bottom sheet and give them the option to Search or maybe show the listing there with some filters/search.

Instantsearch filter by custom function

Due to certain limitations I am not able to index categories and subcategories so I need a way to be able to filter a list of manually created items. It's actually a two part thing:
1: I am filtering the visible results via a toggle switch
2: I now have a submenu (also manually created) with multiple items which need to be sortable as well.
So when I click on any item it filters. The behavior should be the same as in this demo.
This part, to be specific:
The issue I'm facing is that I don't know if this is possible at all. Yes, I looked at the obvious places but could not find anything helpful. Again, the list is created manually so I'd need some custom function to highjack the instantsearch results, I guess.
Any help is much appreciated.

Multiselection in CNContactPickerViewController

I am creating a food app which requires recommendation. I am adding a feature which allows me to recommend particular food to my friends in my contact list. However, upon using CNContactViewController, I am not getting the required UI for multiselection. This is the screenshot of what I am getting
This looks quite messy. I don't want the cancel and group button. Is there any way to get what I am looking for? Any Custom way to achieve it?
As you asked to recommend other libraries, this could be the better option for multiselect design, check this->EPContactsPicker
Update:
For multiselect to enable in cncontactpicker, use this method contactPicker:didSelectContacts:

What is the best way to present multiple options in a form for section 508?

I will need to provide a way for a user (who will be using a screen reader) to select multiple options within a form. Currently, these options are laid out in a two column table with checkboxes in the first column and spans with the label for the option in the second column. This isn't section 508 compliant, but it will need to be for this site. I'm trying to figure out the best way to replace this form with something better.
The options I have are to either
Use ul/lis with labels for the checkboxes
OR
Use a multi-select drop down list.
Does anyone have a preference or a better idea?
I've decided to use a muli-select dropdown. In case anyone was wondering. It seems to work fairly well with the screen reader I'm using. I did find that IE seems to be the best browser to work with and most screen readers aren't working very well with Chrome or other browsers unfortunately. I can only assume then that most people who visually disabled are probably using IE because of this.

MVC2 Multi Select drop down list

I have 2 multi-select Html.DropDownList controls with a button between them. When the user selects items from the first and presses the button they are copied to the second Html.DropDownList control via JQuery.
My problem is when the form is posted back I do not know how to obtain all the values in the second Html.DropDownList control.
This would be really easy with web forms but I have no idea how to do it with MVC2
thanks
--- Also I will need to validate the second Html.DropDownList to ensure it contains at least one item.
Okay, I can get it to work by selecting all the items in the list with JavaScript right before the post back. This feels like such a hack to me though. Surely there is a better way to do it then this. Does anyone know of a way that does not rely on JavaScript?
If relying on JavaScript is the standard way to do this sort of thing then can someone explain why this is okay... Or is this an example of the immaturity of the MVC model?
Thanks.

Design ideas for multi-select items from a long list

I'm developing a system in which I need to select, from a long list os customers, some to which an specific (batch) action will be executed. For example, I want to select "John", "Peter" and "Steve" and click the "delete" button. No more than 5 customers will be selected.
The problem is that, since there're more than 500 customers, listing all isn't a good option. So far I did an AJAX search that shows just the customers that meet the criteria, but which multiselect way you recommend?
My best idea so far is a below this list in which I could either drag-and-drop the users I want to select or double click them
Any better ideas/examples?
Thanks
I don't know whether you're using jQuery, nor whether your site's design vocabulary is suited to it -- but this jQuery autosuggest plugin is excellent.
+1 for ksr's autosuggest find. I would use this in conjunction with a list box. The user types in the autosuggest input field and when they select an item it adds it to a list box. They can then add additional names via the same method, and submit the list when they've added all the names.
I would go for the pattern used by eBay. They probably did some usability research. You can find more info here: http://quince.infragistics.com/Patterns/Multiple%20Selection%20from%20a%20Large%20List.aspx
