PhpStorm NuxJs plugins: marked as unresolved variable from component when called this.$myPlugin - plugins

PhpStorm 2021.2.2
Nuxt # v2.15.8
I'm using Nuxt plugins in my project. PhpStorm doesn't recognize the variable when I'm calling the plugin from a component.
From my component:
this.$repositories.mediaObjects
From "nuxt.config.js":
plugins: [
'#/plugins/repository',
],
From "plugins/repository.js":
import createRepository from '~/api/Repository.js'
export default (ctx, inject) => {
const repositoryWithAxios = createRepository(ctx.$axios)
const repositories = {
categories: repositoryWithAxios('categories'),
}
inject('repositories', repositories)
}
The plugin work well but PhpStorm won't recognize this.$repositories as a known variable
Does anyone has a clue on how to handle this?

How to pass options to babel plugin transform-modules-commonjs?

I create a Vue 2 project by Vue-Cli 5, then I want to remove "use strick" in the complied code.
As I Know, the #babel/plugin-transform-strick-mode may be enabled via #babel/plugin-transform-modules-commonjs, and the plugin is included in #babel/preset-env under the modules option.
But the Vue-Cli used a preset #vue/babel-preset-app by a plugin #vue/cli-plugin-babel for babel.
So my question is How pass strictMode: false as an option to the transform-modules-commonjs by #vue/babel-preset-app which preset is in the #vue/cli-plugin-babel ?
module.exports = {
presets: [["#vue/cli-plugin-babel/preset", { modules: "auto" }]],
plugins: [
// I tried this way, but it throw many errors like:
/**
ERROR in ./node_modules/axios/dist/node/axios.cjs 11:15-32
Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'stream' in 'D:\workspace\cqset_offical_website\node_modules\axios\dist\node'
BREAKING CHANGE: webpack < 5 used to include polyfills for node.js core modules by default.
This is no longer the case. Verify if you need this module and configure a polyfill for it.
If you want to include a polyfill, you need to:
- add a fallback 'resolve.fallback: { "stream": require.resolve("stream-browserify") }'
- install 'stream-browserify'
If you don't want to include a polyfill, you can use an empty module like this:
resolve.fallback: { "stream": false }
*/
["#babel/plugin-transform-modules-commonjs", {}],
[
"component",
{
libraryName: "element-ui",
styleLibraryName: "theme-chalk",
},
],
],
};

How to add babel and polyfills to a RequireJs project?

I am working on a legacy project which uses RequireJs to load and resolve all the dependencies. It works fine on modern browsers, but i need to add support for IE11.
I tried to use babel 7 with #babel/preset-env with following .babelrc
{
"presets": [
["#babel/preset-env", {
"useBuiltIns": "usage",
"corejs": 3,
"targets": {
"browsers" : ["ie>=11"]
},
"modules": false
}]
],
"compact": false
}
the import statements injected by the preset as following
import "core-js/modules/es.function.name.js";
cause error "import statements can't be used outside a module". Even when I use modules: "amd", then core-js is imported as
define(["core-js/modules/es.array.filter.js", "core-js/modules/es.object.to-string.js", "core-js/modules/es.string.includes.js", "core-js/modules/es.function.name.js", "core-js/modules/es.regexp.exec.js", "core-js/modules/es.string.split.js", "core-js/modules/es.string.small.js", "core-js/modules/es.string.search.js"], function (_esArrayFilter, _esObjectToString, _esStringIncludes, _esFunctionName, _esRegexpExec, _esStringSplit, _esStringSmall, _esStringSearch) {
"use strict";
//...
});
which throws error like "define is not defined in require.js".
When using useBuiltIns: "entry", and then including core-js as
require(["core-js", ../other modules], function(corejs, ...){
}
)
in the main.js file, it fails to correctly resolve the path of the files even though I have included the path to core-js in require.config.paths.
I tried #babel/runtime and #babel/plugin-transform-runtime but no luck there.
So my question is what would be the best way to add babel and the required polyfills in my RequireJs project so that it is compatible with IE 11?

How to deploy an generate a static site on Nuxt 3

Hello I'm creating website on Nuxt and i have created a new app on Nuxt 3. But I have an probleme for the deployement, there is no 'normal' build for 'normal server' as Nuxt 2.x.
I'm using 'Lamdba' preset.
https://v3.nuxtjs.org/docs/deployment/presets/lambda
// nuxt.config.ts
import { defineNuxtConfig } from 'nuxt3'
// https://v3.nuxtjs.org/docs/directory-structure/nuxt.config
export default defineNuxtConfig({
// Global page headers: https://go.nuxtjs.dev/config-head
nitro: {
preset: 'lambda'
},
head: {
title: 'Title',
meta: [
{ charset: 'utf-8' },
{ name: 'viewport', content: 'width=device-width, initial-scale=1' }
],
link: [
{ rel: 'icon', type: 'image/png', href: '/favicon.png' }
],
script: [
{
type: 'text/javascript',
src: '/mana.js',
}
]
},
})
And on Nuxt 2.x I used this :
// nuxt.config.js
export default {
// Disable server-side rendering: https://go.nuxtjs.dev/ssr-mode
ssr: false,
// Target: https://go.nuxtjs.dev/config-target
target: 'static'
}
What configuration i should to use on Nuxt 3 to have 'normal' export with an index.html file at the root for all server ?
Please use generate script like yarn generate this will create the .output/public and output will depend on ssr: boolean property in nuxt.config.ts.
if ssr is true which is by default, then there will be individual html for each dynamic route and that means dynamic routes are rendered at build time and whenever there is change in data or number of dynamic routes then you will need to run this command again.
if ssr is false then rendering will be done at client side, like SPA app and dynamic routes will have only one file that will do client side rendering and data will be fetched at client side that way site will show latest data.
Check static-hosting
Static deployment is not currently available for Nuxt 3
Besides adding target: 'static' in your nuxt.config.ts
export default defineNuxtConfig({
target: 'static' // default is 'server'
})
You also need to update your build script to be nuxi generate in your package.json (which was nuxi build originally)
{
"scripts": {
"build": "nuxi generate"
}
}
References: https://v3.nuxtjs.org/bridge/overview#static-target
I managed to deploy my nuxt3 project static to gh-pages. I had to overcome two obstacles.
yarn generate did not generate static routes until I explicitly forced it by setting
generate: {routes: ['/','all','my','other','routes']} ....
in nuxt.config.js as target:"static" did not work for me.
gh-pages need an empty .nojekyll file which seems currently not being generated by nuxt generate nor gh-pages. I entered the following into my package.json:
"deploy": "touch .output/.nojekyll && gh-pages --dotfiles -d .output"
This seems ugly but works for me.

Javascript in nuxt plugins folder - how to use in component?

I have a javascript variable (var testButton) in my Nuxt plugins folder. I then added the file to my nuxt.config.js plugins. In my component, I have a Buefy button, and I'm trying to call the script:
<b-button #click="testButton">Click Me</b-button>
...
<script>
export default {
mounted () {
this.$testButton()
}
}
</script>
I import the script in my script section and have tried computed and mounted lifecycles. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thank you
Check the following things, you must be missing one or more:
1. Your plugin should export a method. That method should receive an 'inject' function and use it to register your 'testButton' function.
So, in your ~/plugins/testButton.js
export default (context, inject) => {
inject('testButton', () => {
console.log('testButton works!')
})
}
2. You shuold register your plugin correctly in the nuxt.conf.js file
Do it like so:
plugins: [
{ src: '~/plugins/testButton.js' },
],
3. Call it as '$testButton()' (note that Nuxt will have added a dollar sign to your method's name).
Your '$testButton' method will now be available from anywhere in your nuxt app. You don't have to import it o create any computed property.
<b-button #click="$testButton">Click Me</b-button>
<script>
export default {
}
</script>

Babel giving Plugin/Preset did not return an object after adding #babel/helper-annotate-as-pure

I've recently added #babel/helper-annotate-as-pure to my list of babel plugins:
require('babel-plugin-macros'),
require('#babel/helper-annotate-as-pure').default,
require('babel-plugin-dev-expression'),
[
require('#babel/plugin-proposal-class-properties').default,
{
loose: true,
},
],
[require('#babel/plugin-proposal-decorators').default, { legacy: true }],
require('#babel/plugin-proposal-numeric-separator').default,
[
require('#babel/plugin-transform-runtime').default,
{
corejs: false,
helpers: true,
version: require('#babel/runtime/package.json').version,
regenerator: true,
useESModules: moduleFormat === 'esm',
} as RuntimeOptions,
],
require('#babel/plugin-syntax-dynamic-import').default,
require('#babel/plugin-proposal-optional-chaining').default,
require('#babel/plugin-proposal-nullish-coalescing-operator').default,
isDevelopment && require.resolve('react-refresh/babel'),
I previously used 'babel-plugin-annotate-pure-calls' but after adding the plugin I continually get the same error at different points:
Plugin/Preset did not return an object
If I comment out the plugin, everything works
#babel/helper-annotate-as-pure is a helper utility module that is part of Babel itself, it is not a plugin, so it cannot be used in the plugins array. All plugins in the #babel namespace start with plugin- in their name.
You'd have to see if babel-plugin-annotate-pure-calls, the original plugin you used, works properly.
