How to fix SocketException when running MongoDB for the first time? - mongodb

Question

I have installed MongoDb on Ubuntu, focal version, using tutorial from official site (https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-ubuntu/).
When I run mongo command, there is a following message:

Error: couldn't connect to server 127.0.0.1:27017, connection attempt failed: SocketException: Error connecting to 127.0.0.1:27017 :: caused by :: Connection refused :

exiting with code 1
I have tried to fix it by looking through result of a command mongod --dbpath /usr/local/var/mongodb, but I don't really understand what is going on.
