I'm currently using a Facebook Tracking pixel to determine which leads convert to the TY page but I've noticed that AdBlock is stopping all pixels from firing. Here is an example of my code
!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s)
{if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};
if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';
n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;
t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];
s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window, document,'script',
'https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');
fbq('init', '{your-pixel-id-goes-here}');
fbq('track', 'PageView');
<noscript>
<img height="1" width="1" style="display:none"
src="https://www.facebook.com/tr?id={your-pixel-id-goes-here}&ev=PageView&noscript=1"/>
</noscript>
<!-- End Facebook Pixel Code -->
Any advice on how to prevent AdBlocker from stopping this?
Thanks

i already have the pixel installed on my site:
<!-- Facebook Pixel Code --> <script> !function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s){if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod? n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n; n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0; t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window, document,'script','https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js'); fbq('init', 'XXXXXXX'); fbq('track', "PageView"); fbq('track', "Lead"); </script> <noscript><img height="1" width="1" style="display:none" src="https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=1758628277740251&ev=PageView&noscript=1" /></noscript> <!-- End Facebook Pixel Code -->
I have 2 events there, PageView and Lead.
<script>
function onClick() {
fbq('track', 'Lead');
console.log("clicou");
};
</script>
and 2 buttons that I would like to track when someone clicks to download my apps.
<img src="assets/logos/appstore.png" width="150" alt="Download from App Store" />
For some reason the pixel is being fired way more times that my app is actually being download, anyone has an idea of what might he happening ?
please remove fbq('track', "Lead"); from the pixel base code, only fire it inside the onClick so it won't get fired when the page load each time.
I'm new to Facebook advertising and i'm trying to set up basic FB Pixel tracking for my website. After setup I see that FB pixel getting loaded successfully, but what I see the PageView count is zero. Please see the attached screenshot (PageView at bottom showing 0). Guys please help what is going wrong here or it takes some time to reflect the count. TIA]1
Also here is the script which I've placed in header tag.
<script>
!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s){if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;
n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';n.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;
t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window,
document,'script','https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');
fbq('init', 'MY_PIXEL_ID');
fbq('track', "PageView");</script>
<noscript><img height="1" width="1" style="display:none"
src="https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=MY_PIXEL_ID&ev=PageView&noscript=1"
/></noscript>
I wanted to make a facebook app with an image which has 2 buttons and under the image there would be a video from youtube. But since coding is new to me I need your help. I tried different codes but none of them worked. the video is not appearing at all.
And heres the final code I came up with:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com /2008/fbml">
<script type="text/javascript">
function framesetsize(w,h){
var obj = new Object;
obj.width=w;
obj.height=h;
FB.Canvas.setSize(obj);
}
</script>
</head>
<body onload="framesetsize(520,3300)"> <!--specify the height and width for resize-->
<div id="fb-root">
<div align="center"><img src="http://fb.joma-sport.hu/jomafiuk4.jpg" width="520" height="390" border="0" usemap="#Map" /></p>
<map name="Map" id="Map">
<area shape="rect" coords="133,74,246,335" href="2.htm" target="_self" alt="Total fit" />
<area shape="rect" coords="248,43,414,339" href="3.htm" target="_self" alt="Aluminio" />
</map></div>
</div>
<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="650" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUaxZLJ0-28" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div
</div>
<!--this div is required by the Javascript SDK--><script type="text/javascript" src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
swfobject.registerObject("FlashID");
</script>
</body>
</html>
<body>
</body>
</html>
Any help would be appreciated!!!!
12minutes later.....BAAAAAH got the answer..Thanks anyway.. :)
The solution:
On youtube click the Share button (which is under your video), than click the Embed button. After that you'll get the code which you write in your HTML. I also checked Use old embed code, and I used that code in my HTML. Sorry if this wasn't clear. My first language is not English..but I hope I could help/
I want to stop the comment box from appearing when a user likes something on my page.
Is this possible?
I'm using
<div id="fb-root">
</div>
<script src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#appId=153692861385098&xfbml=1">
</script>
<fb:like href='http://www.domain.com/path/to/page.html'
send="true" layout="button_count" width="0" show_faces="false" font="">
</fb:like>
I've been trying to do the same. It's not pefect, but the only way I've found to work thus far is to use the following CSS:
.fb_edge_widget_with_comment span.fb_edge_comment_widget iframe.fb_ltr {
display: none !important;
}

Is there a way to add an iframe to a facebook page without having to do the onClick functionality?
Right now I am using this code and it works fine except you have to click the link to make it show the iframe?
<!-- Start iframe CODE -->
Like me to show the iFrame link!
<fb:visible-to-connection>
<a onClick="outside_location.setInnerFBML(link_1);" style="cursor: pointer;">Click here to show the iFrame!</a>
</fb:visible-to-connection>
<div id="outside_location"></div>
<fb:js-string var="link_1">
<fb:iframe height="500" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="width:100%; height: 1400px; border:none" src="http://apps.ignitesocialmedia.com/php/facebook/sandbox/tabs/iframe.php"></fb:iframe>
</fb:js-string>
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">
var outside_location = document.getElementById('outside_location');
</script>
<!-- End iframe CODE -->
It seems as though this has been done in a couple places but I cannot figure it out.
