Currently, I manually update the branch using
git pull and then pm2 restart app.ts.
How do I implement CI/CD from the bitbucket to trigger my VM for automated update?

we are using Azure Pipelines to build and deploy various projects. We are using Enterprise Github service connection as our git repository source which we are using as part of the build pipelines that are running on on-prem AzureDevops build agent. We are then using on-prem hosted DevOps agents to deploy the service on our on-prem servers.
If we trigger a build we then receive an email notification about all the new commits which are included in the build. Is the same information (what commits are part of the build) included somewhere in the Azure DevOps UI? I was not able to find it and it's really difficult to then determine what I'm actually deploying our various environments as I'm not always the one who triggers each build.

I have an application which I want to deploy to a number of VMS on Azure and AWS, I was working with Azure DevOps before and it provided very nice features to achieve this with deployment groups etc. Now I want to work with Github and I am really having problems to design my CI CD pipeline since Github actions do not have any feature which could be used to do deployment on a set of VMS. If there are please guys share your thoughts any article would be appreciated. Thanks
You can firstly consider to deploy application to one Virtual Machine with Github Actions.
Just in the environment of Azure, all you need is to use GitHub Action to build a virtual machine (VM) within Azure.

For multi-environment deployments either in Azure or AWS with GitHub Actions, I recommend you to use Octopus Deploy as a reference. you can still refer to Multi-environment deployments with GitHub Actions and Octopus to deploy Virtual Machine on AWS.

deploy application to multiple Vms
We recommend you to use Azure Batch to run parallel workloads. It can allow you to deploy application to multiple Vms at one time in batch in the basic of deploy application to one Virtual Machine.

I have multiple servers installed at client site. I can access all of them via anydesk. I have python project running on them. All of the source code is in azure devops. I want to create a CI CD pipeline so that whenever we merge pull request to main branch, it should automatically be deployed on client's server.
Previously, I have worked on many web API's which was deployed on azure. We had branches created for each client and whenever we merge changes into those clients branch, it automatically used to start deployment on API as our repo and branch was linked to web API.
To deploy the new code changes on server, I have to follow manual way of first logging into the client server via anydesk and then perform the git pull to pull the required changes. This is very manual thing and we sometime do mistake in it. I am looking for a way to connect the client server with the branch of the repo so that once we merge our changes to that branch, it should automatically deploy the changes. Is there any way we can do it? Is there any tool/service available for this. All the client server are Ubuntu machines. Please give some suggestions. Thanks

My problem here's I can't get it to work on a local Docker container and make it accessible to the outside world (Internet) so Azure DevOps can trigger its build action. Supposedly, it's a Docker for Windows thing which Docker handles differently from the Linux-based Docker.
Azure DevOps Pipeline
As per this link, Azure Pipelines is the CI/CD solution for any language, any platform, any cloud, it says any language, which makes me believe it's feasible to build PB2017 projects using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
The fact is that I'm totally new to CI/CD in terms of implementing it myself. I've experienced it in many projects where I wasn't responsible to implement it. Now I am. I've been on it since a few days now, and I do want it to work.

Synchronization is either done manually or via gitlab cron script (running every hour).
I would like to sync in this way my github repo and run Gitlab CI jobs using my own runners.
Is is possible to automatize sync task, i.e. via Github webhooks ? Do you know if there is any other way to do it with Gitlab infrastructure ?
I would like to avoid hacking like:
- cloning github repo in gitlab runner
- running my own cron jobs which do sync more often
Mirror does work, but it's slow. If your goal is to run gitlab-ci for a github repository, good news, gitlab has released a new version which lets you use github.com repository with gitlab-ci:
