Good afternoon everyone,
Question about Uploading file in FMS 16 but getting an Orange Security Lock.
I already installed the Filemaker Server 16 and install SSL Certificate and domain from Go Daddy.
Then try uploading an existing file in Filemaker Pro Advanced 16, after choosing local host and type the admin console credentials im getting the orange security lock and cant upload the file. (Attached image)
I read in another thread to reinstall FMS and it should change it to a green lock, but even after a fresh reinstall, it hasn't changed it to green.
I can verify the certificate is good, Am I missing something?
I already purchase SSL certificate and Domain in Go Daddy, yet im getting in webdirect an error "Certificate is not valid".
Thanks in advance for any advice.enter image description here
It looks you have entered IP address instead of domain name. That might be the reason for orange lock. SSL verifies the domain name, not IP address.
File Upload error says Encryption password is incorrect. You have enabled encryption on rest. Enter the correct encryption password. Once file uploaded, go to admin console, open the file. Enter the encryption password and save it. Hope, it fixes the issue.

I have a problem with the Safari browser complaining about unsecure transfer when adding products to the basket and fails. So, I sat the unsecure transfer to https in configurations. That helped for Safari but now I can’t log in to the Magento admin. I get: “Invalid Form Key. Please refresh the page“.
In phpMyAdmin > core_config_data I changed the unsecure transfer back to http. That didn’t help so I deleted the whole site from the server and uploaded a one-week old backup, but I still got the same error. Finally, I have deleted the backup and uploaded the original. And of course, still have the error.
I have emptied var/session, var/cache and var/reports and flushed my own cache and deleted cookies.
I have found technical solutions as https://www.tigren.com/magento-error-invalid-form-key/, but I’m a novice and on top of that not a programmer.
Now, when I try to address the site via phpMyAdmin I get “mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'username'#'localhost' (using password: YES)”.
When everything else fails for me I can e-mail the host company to work on the server. But what to write?
Could a professional please walk me through a solution?
Google Cloud SQL supplies SSL certificates. I copied them individually onto MS word and used them as "path"
destination to the queries of mysql workbench. The connection fails. I have proper names: server-ca.pem; cbossl-key.pem and cbossl-cert.pem. Google in "access control" where new ssl is turned on, I used the name "cbossl-cert.pem". This is the same name given to the copy of ssl to my PC word. Kindly help me to identify my error in using ssl. The document suffix .doc - it is not
acceptable doc for the path designation? If so, how do I do?
MS Word doc format is not a valid format for SSL certificates and keys. MySQL clients expect these files to be as they are (Plain text with no formatting at all). My advice is
Create a new client key and cert on "SSL Certificates" section in the instance's "Access Control" tab on Developers Console.
Download the Client key ("Download client-key.pem"), the client ("Download client-cert.pem") and the server ("Download server-cert.pem") certificates and save them as they are into known locations.
Click on the "Restart and Close" button
Configure your MySQL workbench to use the files you downloaded at 2.
I'm trying to access my owncloud address book using Thunderbird and the SoGo connector under Windows.
Under Linux I have no issues whatsoever - it works perfectly.
Under Windows however I'm never being prompted for any credentials after I added a new remote address book and I'm therefore unable to retrieve my address book.
I tried deleting and recreating the address book several times, restarting Thunderbird and Windows itself, but I never got a credentials prompt.
I checked the 'saved passwords' section in the Thunderbird settings to ensure that no wrong credentials are stored (because SoGo fails silently if the credentials are incorrect).
The owncloud address book URL is correct as well.
I'm using Thunderbird 31.1.1 and SoGo 24.0.6
Thanks in advance for any hints.
Ok, I resolved it myself by downgrading to SoGo Connector 10.0.6.
After you installed the addon, restarted thunderbird and entered the uri to you owncloud addressbook, restart thunderbird again. SoGo Connector should then ask for the credentials.
SoGo Connector never asks for CardDAV credentials in Thunderbird 38 under Windows, probably a bug in TB, Lightning or SoGo.
Resolved by downgrading to Thunderbird 31, there everything works as expected.
I solved this problem by first removing the SOGo Connector and then installing the Saved Password Manager Addon for Thunderbird and created a new username / password of type annotations (or similar..). Afterwards I reinstalled the SOGo Connector and it worked right away. I found the solution on this german Webmail-Site. The proposed way of installing the Saved Password Manager afterwards didn't work. They suggest this workaround if you get asked for the password everytime, I wasn't asked a single time.
So, I have a phpBB forum on CentOS 6, however there is a problem. E-mails are simply not working.
I tried using e-mails on domain such as admin#domain.com, and I would get this error:
E-mail error
» EMAIL/PHP/mail()
/adm/index.php
so I trued using SMTP with different SMTP hosts and settings, nothing has worked, I would simply get this error:
E-mail error
» EMAIL/SMTP
/adm/index.php
Could not connect to smtp host : 0 : php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution
Errno 2: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution at [ROOT]/includes/functions_messenger.php line 1030<br />
Errno 2: fsockopen(): unable to connect to smtp.mail.com:25 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution) at [ROOT]/includes/functions_messenger.php line 1030
I got the errors from PHP Error Log from PHP
Oddly enough, the e-mails appear on my VPS in var/spool/mail/root file.
2 people have told be that this may be a DNS issue, I suspect this being true, as I, for some reason, couldn't use "wget" on my VPS, so I set Nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf and suddenly another problem I was experiencing, "could not get latest phpBB version" or something like that, was fixed. So, if that was fixed with such a solution, I would assume this would have something to do with it too.
And, I asked my host about it, they said "everything is virtualized" and how they have no actual control over it (in a sense that it is their configuration's fault) and how they do not support 3rd party software, even though this is not a software issue. And prior to that they said that they talked to "level 3 Linux admin" and how the admin said it is PHP/Apache issue.
I am losing my mind over this. It is a good machine for a good price with a game panel as we are hosting a game server, and it would really be a bother to move it all elsewhere.
Also, full talk and information on phpBB forums can be found here:

Check your SMTP settings, make sure its set to the correct client (both on your DNS and within phpbb in General-Client Communication-Email Settings). If you have to use an authenticated account, verify that the username and password you are using is correct by typing it into a word doc to see spelling and copy/pasting it into the fields. In some cases, SMTP will only work with authenticated accounts.
Having a tough time with this issue. Not sure how but my ApplicationPoolIdentity is broken.
Currently I'm running IIS 8 on Windows 8 with Visual Studio 2012. When trying to debug an application from Visual Studio, or just navigating to the site in a browser I get the following error logged and a 503 error.
Application pool 'DefaultAppPool' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.
If I check out the Application error logs, I find the following error from the User Profile Service.
Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, and that your network is functioning correctly.
DETAIL - The system cannot find the path specified.
Upon looking into the details I find that the User Profile Service is trying to load up a profile with the Id
S-1-5-82-3006700770-424185619-1745488364-794895919-4004696415
Now I opened up the registry to try and find the profile with that UserId. However there's nothing in the Profile list that helps.
So digging around a little more I've found that this issue can be resolved by either
A) Set the Load User Profile of the Application Pool to false.
B) Use a different account for the application pool.
C) Fix the account.
Seeing how this is the built in account, I'd prefer to fix the issue rather than fix the sympton.
What I have tried
aspnet_regiis -i
Removing IIS from windows and reinstalling.
Attempted to follow the guide here but I don't know the account password :P
My hunch
Somehow the ApplicationPoolIdentity got messed up. Is there any physical folders for the built-in accounts? I know that the Network and Local service profiles physical directories exist at C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\. It is possible to recreate the ApplicationPoolIdentity profile? Or am I way off on what the real issue is?
C) Here is what i did to fix the account
Go in regedit at key
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
There is a setting called "Default". You have to make sure that the data value point to an existing directory on the drive.
By default it contains "%SystemDrive%\Users\Default". In my company the default is changed to a custom profile. Somehow, someone deleted that user profile. So when the defaultAppPool user tryed to create an accound for himself, it was unable to do so because windows cannot provide him with a default user profile.
You can also diagnose this error when looking at the Event Viewer under the Application folder. You will get a message of that type:
Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a
temporary profile. changes you make to this profile will be lost when
you log off.
