I would like to know how to track link clicks for posts on a Facebook account that has private access, but I'm not finding sufficient results.
Reproduction steps:
I make a post on my FB page and included in that post is any link
When a user clicks that link, I am notified or the API keeps track of how many people clicked this link.
Is there anyway to achieve this tracking without using a paid third party tool?

I want to create a website where users can like one-another's Facebook page posts and get points. After getting points, they can use these points to add their own Facebook page post. When users want to add their post from their page, they select their page and all their posts are displayed so that they can easily choose which post to add. For this purpose, I made use of the Page Public Content Access feature. However, when I submit my app for review I am getting the following:
Not Approved
Your screencast doesn't show how the use of this permission directly improves the user experience in your app. Unfortunately, we also weren't able to determine this from testing your app manually.
All permissions data must be visibly used within your app. We do not accept permission requests for data that you may decide to use later.

but I can't find what is wrong with my submission. I would be glad if you can help. This is how my submission looks like:
Tell us how you're using this permission or feature
My app is for new starters who want their Facebook page to address greater audience. In this app, users can earn points liking posts of one-another's Facebook pages and use these points to advertise posts of their Facebook Pages. I use Page Public Content Access to help people choose post from all posts that they shared in their Facebook Page. They choose post that they want to display in my website and in this way this post addresses greater audience. First, user chooses his or her Facebook page which the post belongs to, then, all the posts of this Facebook Page are displayed using Page Public Content Access, so that they can choose easily. They choose the post that they want to add to website.
Demonstrate how your selected platforms will use this permission or feature
1.Click Login in Home page
2.Click Facebook and Login your Facebook
3.Confirm your Username
4.Click Facebook in navbar and Choose "Add Post"
5. Choose your page in which you shared the post
6. Click "Choose Post" which will display your posts where you can select the post which you want to add to the website
7. Choose 10 Points and click Add Post

EDIT: I am using page access token:

I am currently implementing Facebook on an eCommerce store.
I have a Facebook page for the actual store and I also have links on each of the product pages where visitors can "Like" the individual products.
Now, I know that when someone "likes" the actual Facebook Page of the store, they receive status updates whenever that page makes a post on their wall.
Is there any way to integrate this also if someone only likes a product, instead of the entire Page, they also receive status updates of the Page?
Or do they need to like the actual Page in order to receive updates.
I hope someone with experience in integrating this can help me. Thank you very much :)
The question is: Building a relationship with a user visiting your page or an opportunity to reach to friends of that particular user.
If the user likes a post, link or an article on your web page this is a one time action and after some time this action will disappear from his/her friends' news feed. And the opportunity to interact with that user one more time will disappear as well. But if that user likes your page so you will have one more fan who will receive your updates every time you post them (Actually this is not always as Facebook news feed algorithm can filter your post).
But what can I suggest is: Put a separate Like Box in your web page to gain more likes for your Facebook page. This like will be more targeted and relevant, as they know what they are doing and they will not be surprised if they see some posts from your page on their news feed. This could be a better experience for your page. And secondly put separate like button on each product with correct meta tags and if it interests particular users they will go to your web page and if they like it, they will also connect to your Facebook page.
I have an application that posts on the users' friends walls. clicking on the wall post will cause the user to navigate to out website.
I want to track how many users signed up for the website having reached it by clicking on a facebook post. Is there a way to do it using google analytics and if so how can it be done?
When you post something to the user's wall, add the ref parameter in. When someone clicks on the link, the ref parameter will get sent back to your site so you know the user came from facebook. Then it's up to you to detect this and log it in Google Analytics.
You should be using Facebook Insights to track stats like this. You can read lots more about it here:

This may be a controversial topic.
I have an app that just banned by Facebook, which is reported that the app violates Facebook App Policy (VI. 1)
Your app gates content behind or incentivizes users to use Facebook
social channels. (FPP IV.1)
Here is the Facebook App Flow:
Click "Page Tab App" icon
Enter the landing page, check whether the user installs the App or not; If not installed, install the App
Enter the checking page, check whether the user likes a Fans page, share to wall & send friend requests; If not, the user will not allow to go to next step.
Next page is a questionnaire; user has to complete the questionnaire to go to next step
Last page is a Thank You page
The whole idea is, the user has to complete the flow to enter a lucky draw (prize will be given to winners).
My question is, how to avoid violating the rule?
It's pretty straight forward...
You are telling the user that he must like a page, share to his wall and invite his friends, all of those are social channels which you "force" the user to go through in order to use your app.
You can ask your users to like your page, you can ask them to invite their friends (or better yet offer them a better experience when their friends join), but you can not (and that's the policy violation) incentivize them to do so by saying "do that or don't use the app"
I'm tring to send customized news to my users via Facebook.
I've tried posting private posts to their walls, so they show up on their news feed, but people got upset by the new posts on their wall (even though noone else can see them)
Is there a way to do this?
I considered building a page per user and suggest to the user to follow it - can this be done via API?
Can a user follow updates on just any page (non fan page) that he Liked, or that has a FB comments box?
Alternatively, can I programatically send Facebook notifications?
You can try creating a single Page for your app. Then when a user connects with your app, auto-follow that page so that all posts to that page show up in the user's feed.
Now just add new posts to that Page with privacy settings targetted at just that user.
Thats my off the cuff answer.
