I have been trying to install Eclipse BIRT from Eclipse website but none of the version I install works ( unidentified error ), I don't care what version of eclipse I install all I need is a working version, can someone please help? is there anywhere I can install a working version?
Does anyone know how to install Graphviz on Eclipse?
I installed it from http://www.graphviz.org/Download_windows.php for Windows (.msi). The installation was successful but (maybe I added to Eclipse wrongly) it gaves me this error when I tried to compile it with my project:
Couldn't create graphs with 'dot'. Is graphviz installed? Is graphviz/bin added to the system variables?
Can someone help me?
today I opened my eclipse as usual but I wasn't able to do anything. All menus except the preferences are grayed out, disabled.
I'm on a Mac Mavericks Beta 6 & Eclipse Kepler
Do u have any hints for me? Restart of Eclipse or the complete mac didn't solve the problem
Did you by any chance install the Mavericks beta 6? This is a known issue, Apple messed up Java. The work around is to install the full JDK http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572. Solved the problem for me.
Change eclipse startup jvm (Oracle jdk ) will fix this problem, i use oracle jdk 1.7.0_25 and all menu are ok now.
Add this line into Eclipse.ini
-vm
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_25.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java

I am running on Mac OS X 10.5.8.
The problem is that the "g" toolbar icon does not show up after I finish installing GPE 4.2 and GWT SDK 2.4 plugin. When I go to "preferences", there should be a google tab, but that does not show up either.
There was no problems with the installation. If I go to "Install new software..."->"already installed...", both GPE 4.2 and GWT SDK 2.4 are listed.
Can anyone kindly help me resolve this issue?
Mac was 64bit. Needed to install 64bit version of Eclipse.
While trying to install foxbeans plugin on netbeans 6.8 I am getting this problem.
The plugin Editor Library is requested in version >= 2.10.2.10.2 but only 1.44.1.9.2 was found.
I am not able to find the above mentioned plugin that is hindering the installation of foxbeans.
For Netbeans 6.8 please install this version http://member.teesoft.info/foxbeans/com-teesoft-foxbeans-1.0.1.33.nbm as mentioned in http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/PluginDetailPage.jsp?pluginid=4209
It worked for me.
