Okay, so I'm trying to code & upload to an Arduino with VS Code (Visual Studio Code). When I try to upload or verify my Arduino code, this error pops up:
If you cannot see that, it says:
[Starting] Verify sketch - ir_remote\ir_remote.ino [Warning] Output path is not specified. Unable to reuse previously compiled files. Verify could be slow. See README. Arduino: This application was configured to use a bundled Java Runtime Environment but the runtime is missing or corrupted. [Error] Exit with code=1
Help will be greatly appreciated. I started messing around with the Arduino a few weeks ago, and I've been using VS Code for a long time.
ALSO:
Code works completely fine on Arduino IDE, I want to be able to code and upload to an Arduino with VS Code.
I also tried posting this on the Arduino Forum, and no one replied.
I was able to solve the issue sharing here to help,
I installed Arduino from MS App Store, and i got exactly same error, i uninstalled the Arduino and downloaded installer from Arduino web site, i installed Arduino set the path by pointing to in VS Code settings > extensions > Arduino Configurations > Arduino Path, paste here path to installation folder. And it was all good.
Under project files .vscode folder be sure arduino.json has path set to
"output": "../ArduinoOutput",
Remember that you have to select Development board, Programmer and Serial Port as well in VS Code IDE.

I had the same problem and after following the very nice instructions of the author and what Jack said, I found this:
Add "output": "./build" (or wherever you want) to your ".vscode/arduino.json" file, just as Jack mentioned.
Delete ".vscode/c_cpp_properties.json" file. (If you don't do this, the intellisense won't work).
Build the project again (via verification or upload buttons).
Enjoy (And hope the bests for me in the case your problem is done following this routine!)
need some help here.
Im new to linux and all the stuff.
My main problem is to run a specific project from Github(https://puffycv.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Installation.html)
I'm useing a raspberry pi 4 with raspbain buster on it.
Dont know what i am doing wrog here.
Would be awesome if somebody could test the project on a similar system and gide me trough thx. :D
Okay the main point iam stuck with is when is have to run the ./enumerate_cams.sh file.
if i open it Raspbain is showing me a message to execute the file.
but if i click on that noting happens.
I ve also try to click run in terminal but theres also nothing happend thx.
Edit:
Summary, I tried to follow only the steps listed in the below two links as applies to windows:
https://github.com/mapbox/mapbox-gl-js/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md
https://github.com/stackgl/headless-gl#windows
Here I have reattached the screenshot of the commands that I had problems with:
https://imgur.com/RCQCNU5
One more step I took that I should mention is I also did not find the headless gl when I downloaded the repository, when the install headless gl command did not work I manually copied the file and put it in my local copy under the nodemodules directory thinking it would work but it didnt solve anything. I do think this is related to access issues but I dont know what else I should try to get it working?
First, let's clarify your problem: you want a version of mapbox-gl.js which contains a recently fixed bug.
Your best option is to just wait a couple of weeks for a release.
Failing that, you should build your own, from master. You don't need to set up a debug server for that. You can skip straight to the "Creating a Standalone Build" section.
If the steps for building on Windows don't work for some reason, you could set up a local virtual machine running Ubuntu and use that.
But honestly, just wait a couple of weeks. :)
Just in case some one else need to run this on local server.
After clone
Run npm install
npm run start-debug
It will start listening on port 9966.
Test the debug html files entering to
localhost:9966/debug/FILE_NAME_TO_TEST.html
Because of cross domain issues I need to run my code (which is HTML & JS) via a server in WebStorm. None of the instructions I can find are simple and straight forward. Can someone give me an idiots' guide to doing this?
Alternatively, I have got Tomcat up and running in Eclipse, but I can't figure out how to import a non-java project into it. Again, instructions that a bear of little brain can follow would be appreciated.
WebStorm comes with a built-in static web server, listening on localhost:63342. All you need to do to run your code on it is right-clicking your .html file and choosing Run.

I am totally new to K2 and its very basic. I have installed the Incident Management accelerator. I am struggling hard to locate the workflow called “Incident Resolution” under the rules "when create button is clicked". I would like to modify this workflow to fit my purpose. Can anybody help to locate the workflow in K2 Studio? Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Regards
George
First let me tell that it is not obvious, so new or not to K2, your question is legit :) It is very easy to do... once you know :)
If you already installed the accelerator, I suppose you already unzipped the package and used the K2 Package and Deploy to install it on your server.
Your first stop will be the K2 Workspace. For this, you must use Internet Explorer. The URL will usually be http://yourserver:81/Workspace
On your system, the port may differ dependending on your installation.
In the workspace, go to Management/Management console.
Expand your server then go to Workflow Server/Processes/Operations/Incident Resolution/Versions
By default, you should see a single version. Notice the download link next to the version. It allows you to download the process.
Download the process and save it somewhere. You will get a self-exctratible zip (.exe). Run that .exe and choose where the process should be extracted. It can be anywhere.
Browse to this location on your file system.
Double click the .k2proj project file. This will open the project containing the process using K2 Studio.
From here, you can now modify the process and deploy a new version on the server.
Please note, that at any time, if your new process ends up being 'not that good', you can go back to the versions screen in order to set another version of the process as the default one (the one that will be opened by the SmartForms). That gives you them time to fix your process and deploy a new version of the process that works better.
Let me know how it goes.
