How to Implement Microsoft graphapi using scala language in azure databricks? - scala

I was trying implement Microsoft graphApi to send mail notification from Azure Databricks to our mailbox. I am having my codes in scala language so, If I need to send a mail I should call graphApi
That also need to be scala language.
For this I need to call HTTP POST request in scala as OAuth2. As my codes are directly in databricks, I don't have a maven/sbt/gradle project. But what I think to make a api call in scala some libraries/packages. I am not sure how to add libraries in databricks.

how do I call salesforce APEX From rest api

I find tons of articles explaining how to call rest apis from APEX - but I'm accessing salesforce from an integration system using the Salesforce REST API, and want to it the other way around.
ie -
I've found functionality (record merging) - that is not available from the rest API, but IS available from apex. Is there any way to run an apex statement or script from the rest API?
NOTE: I'm aware that the functionality also available from the SOAP api, but we really don't want to go near that for various reasons.
you want to REST API endpoints in APEX, so that you can call this endpoint from anywhere, Right? if so then you need to check this article.
After reading above article, you are able to create GET, POST, DELETE endpoint in your Salesforce Org and you can use this endpoints.

Integrate Custom built chatbot with Skype

I have built a chatbot having NLP and AI features in Java language. I have built restful webservices for interaction with the chatbot's AI engine.
The rest API will send the user's query and in return will get an answer by the bot.
I want to integrate this chatbot with Skype. As in there should be a chatbot account and then whenever a person types their query, it should be sent to my server via rest api call and then in turn the response message should be shown in skype chat window.
In my findings, I have seen skype integration with bots built bu Microsoft Bot Framework. Can anyone suggest how can I integrate this custom bot.
If anybody feels I haven't added right tags to reach the exact audience, please add the tags.
I think you need to create a MS Chatbot (in Azure) which allows to deploy it on Skype (and other channels ie Teams), then define a WebHook to invoke your service.
This service needs to "speak" with the MS Bot framework, so you will need to serialise/deserialise the payload, but in the backend you existing endpoint can be used as you need.
Hope it helps.

How to get Outlook Access token?

I'm using the outlook calendar rest api from Salesforce. To continuously leverage the calendar API I need to get authorisation code, access and refresh token.
I have been able to get the Authorisation code by hitting the API. How to get the access token using development code to use the outlook calendar rest API.
Please find the list of AAD authentication libraries here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/active-directory-authentication-libraries
I found this tutorial in Python very helpful for getting access codes:
This tutorial uses Microsoft Graph (which covers several Microsoft products including Microsoft Outlook) rather than the outlook REST API (which covers just Outlook).
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/rest/python-tutorial
At first, I thought setting up a Django server was overkill. Then I realized that I wanted a way for my Python instance to capture the access code after going through single-sign-on. (I MUST use my browser for single-sign-on because my institution uses multi-factor authentation.) Having a Django server is a natural way to do this.
So I created a new PyCharm Django project (which is straight-forward in PyCharm) and began following the tutorial.
I found it essential to continue following the tutorial all the way through displaying my emails to avoid getting authentication errors -- deviate from the tutorial, and I got error messages (such as this one) that were unpenetrable.

SugarCRM get_entry_list REST API call using REST client or POSTMAN

I am going thru the documentation and examples related to calling REST APIs for SugarCRM using Chrome REST client or PostMan but most of the examples are PHP and I am not finding a good way to find a proper request and other parameters to be mentioned so that I can get the successful response from the API. I was trying get_entry_list. Can someone please help by providing a working REST API request for this API which I can run on REST client or postman?
I also would like to know if I want to build a SugarCRM connector for my application, which set of APIs I should use? Should I go with REST or SOAP and any supporting arguments to choose one over another?
Thanks

API call from post trigger of DocumentDB

I need to make an API call from post trigger of Azure DocumentDB.
I tried calling external APIs - but found that such calls are blocked in DocumentDB. If I host an API on Azure's same account will that API is allowed to be called from the post trigger ? If not what can be the alternatives.
Server-side code runs in a sandboxed environment and cannot make external calls. You can, instead, make the same call from your client after your request is acknowledged by the service (indicating your post-trigger succeeded/failed).
DocumentDB now supports a private preview of server side change feed. Using this model you can pull down all the changes from a DocumentDB collection and execute custom logic to perform desired post processing like invoking web services.
Please email askdocdb at Microsoft dot com if you want to learn more about this pattern.
In server-side scripts you can use all JavaScript functionality and CRUD/Query API for DocumentDB. Other "hosting" API is not exposed. For instance, JavaScript by itself doesn't have built-in support for file system or web API, functionality like needs to be provided by host (IE, cscript, etc). DocumentDB doesn't provide additional API other than CRUD/Query API.
