I Can't use font of two words in flutter - flutter

Can I ask how to add a font to flutter consisting of two words, do I put _ or put a space or write the two words next to each other?
I mean like 'Arima' it's a font from one word so when I add it to pubspec.yaml I will write -family: Arima so if I have a font like 'Cormorant SC' what should I write in pubspec.yaml -family: Cormorant_Sc or -family: CormorantSc or what ?

Try to write
CormorantSC
in your pubspec.yaml file

Both will work.. if you notice the example in pubspec file you will also see a font name with space
  #   - family: Trajan Pro
  #     fonts:
  #       - asset: fonts/TrajanPro.ttf
  #       - asset: fonts/TrajanPro_Bold.ttf
  #         weight: 700

Display larger indentation for files that are indented with just two spaces

I'm working on a project that is using 2 spaces as indentation.
I have a hard time reading code with such small indentation, so my question is:
Question: Can I make vscode show the two spaces as if they were wider (for example double the width)?
(I could of course solve it in a hackish way, by converting each file on checkout, and convert it back before i commit it, but that would be very tedious and error prone. I could also try to convince the project to convert the whole project to tabs, so that everyone can use their own preferred indentation. But I don't want to go into that discussion for every project I work on :) )
I have written the extension Indent Whitespace that decorates each space used in indentation with additional spaces (cursor will skip the decoration).
The decorated spaces are colored with a very transparent red.
With a setting you can change the number of spaces to add, default 1.
If you delete spaces with Delete it looks funny because the selection does not change, use the Arrow keys to update the decorations.
In a later version I will make the decoration color a setting, and also only update the decoration when the file changes (only important for large files, and fix the delete-update rendering).
I think you can't.
There is no such setting in VS Code. As of version 1.13, you can change the kerning, but this changes the spacing between all characters. You cannot do this only for a single character (or a set of characters).
The space width is a property of the font. Microsoft has a guideline that defines what is the ideal space size for a font. But this does not mean you cannot change it yourself when designing one. So I created a version of Roboto Mono which space character is 4x the original one.
This works on Notepad and MS Word, we can see the space is quite big. However, using the exact same font in VS Code, the space is still small, independently of the font being monospaced or not.

Somehow, it looks like VS Code ignores space size in the font and decides by itself what is the best value.

How VSCode choose the font from the given font list in editor.fontfamily?

When I open the VSCode editor.fontfamily setting, I found there is a list of font family in the input field. So I want to know that how VSCode choose the font from the given font list in editor.fontfamily?
Does it choose font following descended priority, and what is the stategy? Or the font in different locations have different effects?
Thanks.
The "list" is more of a set of fonts, where the first one is the preferred font, the next one being a fallback, and so on. It's not an actual list as far as a JSON object goes, it's just a string that's comma delimited.
{
"editor.fontFamily": "Consolas, 'Courier New', monospace",
// first second third
}
You can test this out by simply switching around the fonts and saving the file to see how Visual Studio Code reacts. If you put in a bogus font name as the first item in the set, when Visual Studio Code can't find the font, it will fallback to the next one. On Windows, if you supply nothing but invalid fonts, it looks like the ultimate fallback is Times New Roman (or an extremely similar looking font):

is there any way to use 'ə' letter in input field?

I want to write 'Ə' letter on the TMP inputField but it recognize that letter as '?' symbol.And also when I copy and paste that letter to the InputField it works but when I try to insert it from keyboard it does not work. Is there any way to use that letter?
Use TextMeshPro input field instead default input field.
This new version includes Dynamic SDF support where it won't be necessary to add the needed characters to the font asset (ahead of time) via the Font Asset Creator. Instead the needed characters / glyphs can be added dynamically to a newly created font asset in the Editor or at Runtime.
You will still need to create a font asset from a font file that contains the Azerbaijanian character set.

How can I make my custom font support on bold or put multiple fonts?

I want to use in my project text view with the custom font- heebo.
but I have a problem when I run my app all the bold word is not bolded
and everting is hebbo regular, how can I fix it or make this font to be multiple?
another solution is to write a function that takes the text inside of the text view and detect if its bold or regular and if its bold I put heebo-bold.ttf and if not I put heebo-reguler.ttf so if somebody helps me with that it will be good.
I downloaded the very same font you're trying (Heebo bold) and I've done the next steps:
Install font on the system (double click on .ttf file)
Copy the font to your project folder on xcode. (Make sure you're checking Copy items if needed and add to target 'your target' check boxes)
Add hebo-bold.ttf to your info.plist under "Fonts provided by application" (as in next image)
Build (cmd + B)
Use font from storyboard or by code:
yourLabel.font = UIFont(name: "Heebo-Bold", size: 18.0)
When you want to know the exact name a font has (when setting it by code you need this name not the filename like 'heebo-bold.ttf') you can use these couple of lines:
print(UIFont.familyNames)
print(UIFont.fontNames(forFamilyName: "familyName"))
First line will print the names of all family fonts available.
Second line will tell you the specific name you'll have to use on UIFont(name: String, size: CGFloat) (i.e. Heebo-Bold, Heebo-Italic, etc)

sarhan custom font space problem

I am using sarhan custom font . But the space character is not reflecting in to the text. It's just replacing to next character in place of space. Is there any way to fix this issue?
i resolved the problem . we have to modify the .ttf file of font and replacing the correct value for character.
