I am creating a facebook ad and the client needs to open that ad in a new tab so that the camera is operational outside the "WebView". I am unable to find any option that uses that. Any help is appreciated.

this topic is about the combination of Ionic 4 + Capacitor + Azure Active Directory B2C + Native Application
I am working inside an Ionic 4 project and i am using Azure Active Directory B2C as login provider.
Unfortionally, trying to add Google as login provider leads to the following problem:
https://azure.microsoft.com/de-de/blog/azure-ad-b2c-google-signin-issue/
Google does not support webviews anymore.
Is there any way to open the login mask from Azure B2C with the embedded browser and only the external Google login with an external browser? I feel like i am forced to open the whole login process with the system browser if I want to use the google login service, which is no option because of the missing option in hiding the URL bar for that external browser.
Because I need a way in open the login mask without the toolbar. The page should look like a clean login mask, so the user does not get the feeling of leaving the application.
Did anyone experience this issue before and found a way in solving it? What I want is the following behaviour:
From the native app the user should be able to open the login mask from Azure and feel like not leaving the app. So this login mask should be opened inside an webview or inapp browser because I think there is no way in manipulating the system browser to hide the URL bar.
Then, if the user decides to use the google identy provider to login, the system browser can be used, best would be inside a pop up window
I would appreciate if someone has a solution for this problem.
Best regards
I have an application created in facebook, along with the integration for my existing website. When users on my website use the facebook connect button and receive the facebook message that "WebsiteABC" will receive the following info: your public profile, friend list and email address," I need to get my logo updated in the box within that pop up window.
I'm looking at all of the settings within the app at developers.facebook.com, but cannot find anywhere to upload that logo. Can someone help please?
Thanks
I am trying to enable deep linking from custom open graph stories. I have gone through the instructions listed
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/ios/app-links
Deep linking works fine when I click from the Facebook timeline to the actual story post page and then click the object button. If I click the object button on the timeline itself, the url is NOT handled and instead is open directly in the Facebook webview.
This may be because I don't have a web platform added on my App Dashboard.
Facebook documentation reads
Deep linking in Open Graph stories If you're deep linking from an Open
Graph story published from your app, you will need to go through one
more step.
...
If you HAVEN'T already added a website for this app, in the App
Dashboard, inside your app's settings, click on ''Add platform'', and
select ''Website''. Then in any of the fields (either ''Site URL'' or
''Mobile site URL''), fill in your subdomain. It doesn't matter if you
don't have a website that you're integrating with Facebook, this will
register this subdomain for use with your native app.
However, when I try to add a the url in app settings (the screenshots match those in the documentation), my open graph submission is rejected by Facebook with the note:
Your app does not qualify for the submitted platform. In the app
settings tab, please remove platforms without Facebook integration.
Canvas or page tab apps cannot redirect users, and websites must
properly integrate Facebook login.
Anybody been through this before and can lend some guidance? I am very much confused by the documentation.
The deep-linking started working on its own about a week later without any changes on my part.
I'm developing a FB page tab app, and I want to provide my client a URL for testing the app. I don't have a page specifically for this app, nor do I want to create one - the test versions of the app should remain private. What is the normal process for testing page tab apps privately in this manner?
Try this:
Go to your application: developers.facebook.com/apps
open your app, on left side there is a section called advanced (settings->advanced),
just click on that and you will find create a facebook page option,
you can create a facebook page and after creating,
you can set setting for publish or unpublish.
You have to enable the Sandbox Mode in your app settings.
If you want to give other users access to the app, you need to add them as developers or testers in the Roles settings.
I have successfully created a Facebook application. I have successfully added the application to my Facebook "Page". After I do this, no link for the app shows up in the menu on the left. This seems like something that should be simple to do, yet I can't find any documentation that is up-to-date. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Configure the Page Tab settings in your application settings under Facebook Integration.
Go to the developer page where you get the list of your apps.
Click on the more link next to your app, and choose Application profile.
Once you are on the app profile, on the sidebar menu click on Add to my page and choose the page where you want to add the tab.
Note that you must have your app tab configured properly inside your app configuration in order to get this to work i.e. setting the correct domain and tab file.
If you are logged in as the page, I suggest you either creating a profile ID and log in as it, or the solution that #ifaour pointed out, although it will be difficult to find your app inside the search engine that FB provides.
