I want to post some jobs on facebook but Preview image is not showing for some job.
Image shows up on posting this link but when I post this link the preview image does not come.
When check both link in facebook developer tool both above link works fine and og:image comes for both link then why one of the link is not showing on actual post ?
I have recently migrated from blogger to wordpress, but am having issues with images.
Both Pinterest and Facebook are not recognising my new images that I am uploading to wordpress, however they do recognise the old images that have been imported directly from blogger and still point to blogger.
When I try to pin an image it allows me to select the image, but then when I click "pin" it says "Whoops! Sorry, We could not fetch the image".
With facebook, trying to share the link, the posts with new uploaded images do not load any thumbnails, however the images from the old imported blogs do show thumbnails.
I have checked the pinning from a friends blog who is based off the same theme and I can pin off their site. I have also checked whether the uploaded images are in iframes - they are not. I have verified my website with pinterest.
wen you are in facebook just right click on the image you want, then select "copy the url" return to pinterest and then choose "pin from a website". paste the link and voilà! you can choose the photo to pin-it :D
I managed to get around the issue for now by uploading the images to photobucket and then linking into the post via the url. So it seems that the issue is that they need to be hosted somewhere other than on my wordpress site.
If anybody else posts a better answer that doesn't require the work around, then I'll accept theirs.
i am facing a problem while sharing a youtube video from my website using facebook share button,
the website contains Article, pictures and Videos imported from Youtube, all meta tags are well formatted and provided. but only with youtube when i try to share a video thumbnail is not shown !!! in the other side the description and the title all is shown and right.
i tried to check what facebook is recognizing from my website through (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug) and the thumbnail is there !!!!
i also tried to take the video url directly from youtube and paste it to facebook and the thumbnail is shown, only when i click the share button from my website to share a youtube video the thumbnail disappear.
please help and thanks in advance.
Recently i saw that a person is uploading gif's on facebook.i know that facebook blocked uploading gif then how it is possible to upload gif's???? here is the Link of page

This is not supported - if there's a loophole which allows this it'll likely be closed soon and the images will be removed by Facebook - I wouldn't rely on this if I were you
I have an app with a comment box inside it, which I inserted as a social plugin

When a user posts a comment using that comment box, Facebook does not show the correct image. With Facebook debug I can check that the Open Graph tags for the page of my application use the application icon as image - which is what I had expected.
Still, when a user uses this comment box, on his profile appears a random image from my app. Is there a way to fix this?
