Send data from PostgreSQL to Kafka - postgresql

I need to send the data stored in my PostgreSQL to my Kafka (is running on my docker),
I tried to create the connector with these setting:
{
"name": "Connessione",
"config": {
"connector.class": "io.confluent.connect.jdbc.JdbcSinkConnector",
"tasks.max": "1",
"key.converter": "org.apache.kafka.connect.storage.StringConverter",
"value.converter": "org.apache.kafka.connect.storage.StringConverter",
"topics": "Bill",
"connection.url": "jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/Kafka_Example?sslmode=require",
"connection.user": "postgres",
"connection.password": "**********",
"table.whitelist": "messaggio",
"mode": "timestamp",
"max.retries": "4",
"timestamp.column.name":"modified_at,created_at",
"poll.interval.ms": "2000",
"topic.prefix": "pg_source_"
}
}
but I got this when I uploading my config file on control center.
This is my logs from Docker:

(My database is running on localhost:5432)
Is anybody tell me what Am I doing wrong, and Is there any easy way to do this on my spring boot application where I already have both kafka and database?

Assuming you've started Connect from Docker, then localhost refers to the Connect container itself, not your database.
https://docs.docker.com/network/bridge/
Similarly, your Spring app isn't running Kafka or a database; those are external services, and Connect framework doesn't embed into Spring.

Getting started with keycloak and kubernetes

I am trying to run keycloak on kubernetes so I follow this example on my kubernetes cluster. But when I run command:
kubectl create -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/keycloak/keycloak-quickstarts/latest/kubernetes-examples/keycloak.yaml
I got database error after 2 minutes. Why I can not run this simple example without error ?

Kafka Connect Debezium postgres

I am trying to connect a Postgres SQL db hosted in Amazon RDS with a Kafka topic using Debezium.
I am following the following tutorial :
http://debezium.io/docs/tutorial/
My kafka and kafka connect services start up fine and the kafka connect service also picks up my debezium postgres connector jars in /usr/share/java dir.
However on trying to attach the postgres config json via the kafka connect API using the following curl command :
curl -i -X POST -H "Accept:application/json" -H "Content-Type:application/json" localhost:8083/connectors/ -d #connector1.json
I end up getting the following error:

Could some please advice on the exception and how to resolve it?
Is there a property/configuratuion that I may be missing here?
Do you have postgres database port configured to be accessible from outside?
IIRC RDS database uses SSL for connection so it might be necessary to configure SSL also in postgres connector.

I have followed xnat tutorial so I am not sure what went wrong
Here's the localhost log:
http://pastebin.com/3qtEJZ79
This is a communications issue with PostgreSQL, not really an XNAT issue. Either your PostgreSQL server isn't configured to listen to TCP connections or there's a firewall issue. It's probably one of the problems described here. If I had to guess, it's probably the TCP connection issue. Edit postgresql.conf (same folder as pg_hba.conf) and look for a line with the string listen_addresses. By default, this looks like this:
#listen_addresses = 'localhost'
Modify it to be:
listen_addresses = '*'
Then restart the postgresql service and see what happens.

JBoss Server stopping error

I am using JBoss Server in my project.
The JBoss version is 4.2.3
When I am stopping the server, at that time the server is giving error and is not getting stopped.
The console is showing the following error:

I know that this question is old but I've faced the same error and I've found the solution.
I edited the jboss-service.xml file that is located at the following path:
<_jboss_installation_folder_>/server/<_instance_name>_/conf
You have to find the NamingService mbean:
<mbean code="org.jboss.naming.NamingService" name="jboss:service=Naming" xmbean-dd="resource:xmdesc/NamingService-xmbean.xml">
and change the port attribute to 1099, eg:
<attribute name="Port">1099</attribute>
