I'm trying to connect my dbt project with postgres db.
I'm writing all the connecting credentials in profiles.yml but it is throwing below error when i am running dbt debug.
dbt was unable to connect to the specified database.
The database returned the following error:
type object 'PostgresConnectionManager' has no attribute 'retry_connection'
I'm unable to find solution anywhere.
dbt-core v1.2.0 has added retry_connection method in BaseConnectionManager to support the retry connection feature. If the adapter implements this method, it can't run on dbt-core v1.1.0. Try updating the adapter.

I am trying to connect a MySQL database via Google Cloud Data Fusion Wrangler. It's a very standard connection and I can connect and do every action with another tool (DBeaver). However, trying to connect with Wrangler, I am getting this message:
A server error occurred when testing the connection. Error: Exception occurred while handling request: string
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Please follow the instructions on https://cloud.google.com/data-fusion/docs/how-to/using-jdbc-drivers
Once done, you will be able to select the uploaded driver from the dropdown
For your requirement, you have to use JDBC Driver for connecting to MySQL database.You can use Public IP to setup connection to Wrangler.
Following are the steps to connect to MySQL database using Wrangler
Go to Hub in the Cloud Fusion instance and and select the required JDBC Driver.
Download the
driver and deploy it.
Go to Wranglers page and click on Add
Connection if you are connecting to MySQL for the first time.
Select
the MySQL database from the list of databases provided in Wrangler.
Add name and JDBC driver along with username, password and other connection arguments.
Click on test connection to check the connectivity.

I created a WebApp with sails new my-app and am trying to use mongodb as its database. I am running mongodb in docker and am able to connect to the database using GUI tools like MongoDB Compass. Using that tool I created todo_list database in mongo.
In the app, I changed default datastore in datastores.js to:
default: {
adapter: 'sails-mongo',
url: 'mongodb://root:rootpassword#localhost:27017/todo_list'
}
This connection string is correct as verified by using it to connect via MongoBD Compass.
When I run sails lift I get:
error: A hook (`orm`) failed to load!
error: Could not tear down the ORM hook. Error details: Error: Consistency violation: Attempting to tear down a datastore (`default`) which is not currently registered with this adapter. This is usually due to a race condition in userland code (e.g. attempting to tear down the same ORM instance more than once), or it could be due to a bug in this adapter. (If you get stumped, reach out at http://sailsjs.com/support.)
I saw this error raised in a few github issues, bu tteh answers were irrelevant to my situation. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
I'm new to Azure Data factory and i'm trying to create data set that connects to azure postgres db where SSL is enabled, but i get the below error, any idea how to solve this error without disabling SSL on postgres.
when i try to add sslmode=Allow to connection parameters, i get this error
You need to select EncryptionMethod option in link service. As MSDN shows,
Update:
I haven't met your error. I can connect successfully via integration run time.
The following is my setting, you can have a try.

I am attempting to create and use an oracle DB.
Was able to create the DB using sql plus however when I attempt to connect to it via sqldeveloper I get the following error

When I check that all services are running I notice OracleVssWriterORCL is not running.
However upon attempting to start it I get the following error:
Windows could not start OracleVssWriterORCL service on local machine Error 0x80070005: Access is Denied
This is my first time using Oracle for DB so any help is greatly appreciated.
I should also note this is on a windows 10 VM
As stated above my listener was not running and going into cmd using the lsnrctrl start command fixed that issue but now I get a ORA-12505 error. Oh the fun of learning new things
I am using Corda Enterprise 3.1 and trying to move the vault from H2 to Oracle 12c using the Database Migration tool supplied. I have made the changes in the node.conf configuration using values I know work to connect from IntelliJ. The driver is Oracle's ojdbc8.jar that came with Oracle SQL Developer. The connection string is below but with some specifics masked. It doesn't work. Any ideas?
dataSourceClassName = oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource
dataSource.url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:#xxxxx.wellsfargo.com:1539:XXXXXX"
Here is the error I get:

check that the correct JDBC driver is installed in one of the
