Remote Host Access plugin is missing in RubyMine... but where is it? - rubymine

Today my RubyMine is broken. No idea why, I didn't change anything explicitly, but my WSL Rubies are all gone. When I try to re-add them I get this:
But there's no such plug in:
What's going on? How do I fix it?

There's a known problem, for which you can try the following workaround:
https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RUBY-20288/Cant-add-remote-Ruby-interpreter.#focus=Comments-27-5591560.0-0
You might need to change the path according to your version/IDE name.

Mongodb compass keeps on showing activating plugin

When I open my MongoDB compass it keeps on showing loading, My os is windows 10, Please help me to sort out the issue
you can just add this path to your path
C:\Windows\System32\wbem
this works for me. I'm using win7
I was having he same issue. I solved this by adding this:
Go to This PC-> Properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Environment Vaiable -> System Variable -> Path -> New -> C:\Windows\System32\wbem(Copy and Paste this path).
Hope this helps. Upvote and mark this as an answer if it solves the issue.
Open environment variables settings and add C:\Windows\System32\wbem to path variable.
I'm also have this same issue -- I did a new download/install of 1.21.2 and it did not help. I did notice a "migrating" phase I don't recall seeing before. I had not expressly attempted an upgrade (I can be wrong, maybe I did, but I don't recall doing it). I suspect that something has gone wrong with this recent version... I did have these in my PATH:
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;
Try with the Isolated Version. It helped me:

GitHub for windows forgot all repositories

Today GitHub for Windows has suddenly forgotten all repositories on my pc. Has anyone seen anything like this? (It is the latest version, running on Win7 pro.)
It turned out to be a bug in GitHub for Windows. At the moment I do not have more details, but I have information about how to fix it if someone else needs that. (I hope the problem will soon be gone.)
Update: To avoid confusion I add the info I got here:
To resolve this, you can go to %LocalAppData%\GitHub and delete the cache.db file located there. GitHub for Windows will recreate that file, and this should get things working again. You'll need to add your repositories again, though. You can drag-and-drop them in, or use the 'scan for repositories' button in the options menu.
Just dragging the folders from explorer to the Github window will add them back.

Problems using netbeans 7.01 with CMake 2.8.6

so once again, I'm having a little problem I can't figure out myself. Meaning, I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is, I just can't fix it.
I'm developing in C++ using Netbeans 7.01 with CMake 2.8.6. However, when I'm trying to build a project, I get the following error from CMake:
CMake Error: The path to the source directory:
H:/Projects/Netbeans/CppApplication_1/CONF=Release
contains unsupported character '='.
Please use a different source directory name.
Please note, that "CONF=Release" isn't a folder. It seems to be a configuration flag set by Netbeans, as it changes when I'm trying a debug build. So, my guess here is, that theres a space missing, or something similar. Unfortunately, I can't figure out where to change that. There are no options in any related Netbeans window, I can't find anything related in the configuration files for netbeans itself or the project either.
Did anyone here have experienced the same problem and found a solution to it? I would be very glad to hear it. If there's any information missing, let me know, I will add them as fast as possible.
Edit:
Just noticed there is already version 7.1 of netbeans, nice to know. However, even with this version, the same problem occurs.
You must specify the command you ran to allow for the error to be identified. However, it looks like you missed the "source-path" parameter.
The cmake command ends with the path to source and should be something like:
cmake -D CONF=Release <path to source>

No autocompletion on Eclipse(Helios)

I'm having a problem with the autocomplete option in Eclipse (Helios).
I've already checked Windows->Preferences->PHP->Editor->Content Assist and everything seems to be correct there.
And when I do get completions when I write "self::" in any of my classes, but this is the only situation I get it.
For example..
"parent::"
or
"$this->"..
Don't work at all.. any ideas?
Btw, I'm working under Lunix, Ubuntu 10.10
Thanks in advance.
A few things to check:
1) .project file contains:
<nature>org.eclipse.php.core.PHPNature</nature>
2) .buildpath contains:
<buildpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.php.core.LANGUAGE"/>
3) Right-click project and go to Configure -> Add PHP Support
4) Are you using a namespace in your code? If so, does completion work without a namespace i.e. in a global namespace
I can also see quite a few open issues in bugzilla related to code completion in PDT. Take a look.
Since it seems that yoy've already tried the basic solutions that are documented across the web (phpnature, add php support, buildpath, etc.) it's probably best to look at the logs and provide any error that occurs when you try to call auto-completion.
You can "tail" the log and check if anything appears when asking for an autocomplete (press Ctrl+Space after writing "$this->" inside a method of a class):
tail myWorkspace/.metadata/.log -f
The error that appears may be usefull for searching google or for including here for others to help!
Seems like updating Eclipse to Build id: 20100917-0705 solved this issue.
If you just upgrade eclipse you should rename/remove workspace/.metadata
some times there is compatibility issues...

Netbeans Resolve missing server

I've encountered a problem with my Netbeans 6.1 IDE.
After an unsuccessful update, Netbeans stopped recognizing Apache and Glassfish servers and requested me to resolve a missing server error, after which I opened a window to add a server, except there were none listed. Trying to add servers in the list yields no results as there isn't even a single server type to be chosen.
Reinstalling Netbeans didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
When you reinstalled did you manually delete the "C:\Documents and Settings\omuhammed.netbeans" directory? apart from deleting the folder in "Program Files"? before reinstalling? This usually works for me.
After reinstaling i didn`t done that, and the result was the same. More people had complains about this but i found no direct answer. I have done it the "hard" way and downloaded 6.5 version and everything is ok after instalation.
The same thing happened with me also. As I opened one project which was created by some other user. But here it says, server is missing and I need to resolve it. When select Resolve server missing problem, window with blank list of servers is shown. When I opened 'Server Manager' window, there it is showing Bundled Tomcat. but there is noway to add the same server to the required project. At the same time, some projects, created in the same machine is running properly.
I could not see any proper reason and solution for the problem even in the net resources also.
any and all suggestion are highly appreciated.
Sajan
After uninstalled the netbeans, then i delete the "C:\Documents and Settings.netbeans", "C:\Documents and Settings.nbi", "C:\Documents and Settings.netbeans-derby", and "C:\Documents and Settings.netbeans-registration" directories. After that i reinstall the netbeans. It works! Thank you omer mohammed!
Right click your project and next click resolve missing server. Open dialog box so you will add server in current glash fish server next solve your problem.
While installing select customize button. Select only tomcat, un-check glass fish and then proceed installation. It will work like charm.
