I would like to know if there is a way increase the output box, as it is very complicated to debug enything only seeing 4 lines at the same time.
In older AWX versions there was a button to expand that box, but in the new interface it has disappeared.
A workaround is to download the output and debug it from local, but I would prefer to enhance the experience for all users.
Is there any way to expand it?

My Talend ESB (6.1.1_20151214_1327) keeps freezing ... run freeze .. resize a tab freeze .. move to another tab and come back freeze ..
So I thought there must be some problem with my windows7, so I tried in my mac laptop, exactly the same thing keeps happening. Same for 610 ESB, Same for DI version too.
Is there an option that I need to change in config to avoid that? Waiting for 10min for defreeze, or at times rebooting makes me scared of creating more artifacts in Talend (I only have 3 now). I wish not to move to python.
If you output a lot of data to the console using a tLogRow component, you will find that your Talend Studio will freeze, especially when changing tabs etc.
Try removing any tLogRows that you have and see if the avoids the freeze.
You can workaround on Two points about talend freeze.

I have an Eclipse workspace with a bunch of projects. I manually created some run configurations for each project (it's necessary to pass some arguments to VM, so I can't just run it directly, e.g. using shortcut ALT+SHIFT+X, T in the specific file).
Most of the time, I just use one run configuration (whereas for the first time I manually launch it using Run -> Run configurations -> (name) -> Run). Since I configured Eclipse to always run the last run configuration (on F11 or CTRL+F11), it's usually enough.
However, sometimes I need to switch to a different run configuration and then back to previous one and then to a different one etc. Is there a quick way to do it? I'd like to see a shortcut, which would display pop-up window with all existing run configurations. By typing first few letters, I'd find an appropriate one and would be able to immediately run it by pressing ENTER. I mean something similar to what CTRL+SHIFT+T or CTRL+SHIFT+R looks like.
I'm afraid there's not something like that. Nonetheless, any advice on how to get more effective would be greatly appreciated, because I'm bored of switching run configurations via menu (as I described above). I can press ALT+R, N and then select a run configuration using arrow keys, but it's not really that comfortable.
You already gave most of the answer yourself. Start by pressing ALT+R, N and then simply start typing the name of the configuration you want. The cursor should be positioned in the filter field and thus incrementally reduce the list of launch configurations as you type. When you've narrowed it down to 1, complete the selection by ALT+R.
BTW: thanks for the reminder, I, too, was using the mouse way too much in this particular use case. I will stop doing so, now that I gave the answer :)
Since Eclipse 4.12 (June 2019, 4 years later) you can also launch any of the Run or Debug configurations available in your workspace from... the Quick Access menu (Ctrl+3 shortcut)
Note: For performance reasons, the extra Quick Access entries are only visible if the org.eclipse.debug.ui bundle was already activated by some previous action in the workbench such as editing a launch configuration, or expanding the Run As... menus.
Question:
Is there a way to run an eclipse action that is available from the context menu in the editor on every file of an project.
Actual Case:
I have to work with the leon3 and my dull mind has trouble enough understanding the code, that I do not want to scan lines to see if there is a semicolon hidden in there to see if there are multiple instructions or if the end if happens to be behind another instruction rather than on a line of its own (I missed an end if, which caused me to think that statements were conditional,...), therefore I would like to format the source nicely. I have access to Sigasi PRO which offers the option to "beautify" code as an operation in the editor. I would like to run this operation on all files in the leon project automatically.
Sigasi indeed only offers formatting in the editor at this time. In the Sigasi editor, you can format a selection or the entire editor's content. But, you can not trigger the formatting action without an editor.
I have not tried this, but I think you can achieve this with the Eclipse EASE project. EASE is a scripting environment for Eclipse.
Has anyone out there in SO land had to deal with this...when you go to build a new deployment profile in JCAPS, you have quite a few little boxes that you have to minimize before you can do the actual mapping (black boxes added to hide company specific info):
We've tried autohotkey and are looking into Sikuli - does anyone know of a good way to get around this silly UI design flaw?
You can build multiple environments that point to the same logical host. Just separate the resources into logical groups to make them more manageable.
I wrote a Netbeans plugin to take care of this. I can't publish the full source, but here is the main idea.
I've found that if you click on the "third" button in the deployment wizard that your logical hosts appear on the lower right. Other than that, the latest EAs you created are on the upper left.
Is it possible to make the code-completion on Netbeans automatic, like on Aptana or Visual Studio?
I've noticed that Netbeans can sometimes take a while to populate the list, so this might be asking a bit too much, but if possible, I'd like to somehow enable it.
The onlything I've found in the options is the ability to set a custom key-combo, but not to make this automatic.
I know that if you wait a bit, the auto-completion shows up anyway, but I want it to be without delay.
It appears there is a setting in some NetBeans versions that sets the delay for the popup window.
Choose Tools | Options
Choose Advanced Options
Open the Editing and then Editor Settings folders
Select Java Editor and find the Delay of Completion Window Auto Popup property
Enter a new Delay value in milliseconds (default is 250).
Article where I found it: http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=519945&seqNum=5
The problem is that this article is a couple years old, so I opened NetBeans (6.1) on my computer and looked for the property but it didn't exist for the Java Editor (It did for other editors like the XML Editor). This leads me to believe my version is newer than the one in the article and the delay property no longer exists for the Java Editor (checking couldn't hurt though).
So instead, I decided to test the delay. I made a sample project, imported and instantiated a list, and then went to call a method. I stopped at the dot to let NetBeans offer suggestions and it was basically immediate (no noticeable delay). It is at this point, I am wondering if the delay you are experiencing is due purely to performance of the computer, especially since you indicate this occurs "sometimes". It is possible that you are looking at rather large classes, and NetBeans is taking extra time to look up the completions. You could try and test to see if this is true or not by testing code completion on a known large class. The other possibility is your computer is not as fast, or is doing work for another program at the same time. You can try and test this by restarting the computer, opening only NetBeans (to maximize resources to NetBeans), and try some code completions. If either exhibit noticeably faster delays, this is most likely the problem.
Hope this helps.
I think I found a solution. I set up autocomplete keyboard shortcuts for all letters and #, it seems to work. In some cases there is a small lag, but it doesn't prevent you from typing. It took about 5 minutes to add those shortcuts.
I tried to get the desired feature by adding the alphabet to the completion selectors. It worked somewhat, you can always try it.
