AEM: Adding an item in tab/carousel component editor does not reflect instantly

When adding a child component to Tabs/Carosel (or any component that uses common panelselect), it does add a tab but it does not show up in panel selector view (to give it a name). However if user closes and reopens that panel to add item, previously added item shows up

Attaching an ActiveX TreeView Control into a tabbed Access form

I have a tabbed form in Access and on one tab, I'd like to create an ActiveX TreeView object. When I go to build this object and drag it to the tab, it attaches itself to the general form instead of the tab. This puts the control over top of all the tabs instead of the tab I want it in.
How do I attach the ActiveX control to the tab and not the entire form?
I've done a number of different "moves" to try and get it to attach and I've looked through the options to see if there is an easy way to attach it but nothing actually defines how the control is attached unlike a normal Access form control that is contained in the tab.
I would like to keep the extra forms to a minimum and maintain a single, tabbed form with separate controls on each tab.
Answer:
Make sure to select the tab first and then create the TreeView control. TreeView controls cannot be attached to a tab page by drag/drop.
If done correctly, the control will be placed on the tab page just under the tab name within the borders of the tab page. A quick test by selecting other tabs can be done to check that it attached to the right tab and only that tab.

Asp.net Ajax Tookit AutoCompleteExtender stops working in update panel after partial postback

I have an update panel with some text entry boxes, a clear button and a save button. Under the boxes I have a repeater that holds database entries. When a user enters data in the textboxes and clicks the Save, a database row is created and the repeater rebinds and shows the new dataset. There are buttons on each repeater row for "Delete" and "Edit". When the Edit button is clicked on a row, the data from that row is populated back into the text boxes. When I do that, the autocomplete extenders stop working. I have a button that simply clears the textboxes. If I click that button and clear the textboxes, the autocomplete starts working again. Even if I remove all code from that "Edit" button in the repeater command and don't have it populate the text boxes from the row clicked, the autocomplete stops working. Something is happening on the item command for the repeater row that is turning off the autocomplete. Any suggestions?
I had some javascript functions running from the code behind on page load. Moving that from the server side page load to the javascript pageLoad() function fixed the issue

View details control on ax 2012 form

I would like to bring view details button in my form when right clicked on my form view details should be shown like in standard any form for example when we right click on item number field on the form we have view details option when clicked that opens the details form of that item.
I tried using the normal right click method but could not succeed, please help me how to bring the view details functionality in my custom form.
To have the "View details" standard context menu, the following must be true:
The foreign key (FK) must have a relation defined on the table of the key
The table pointed to by the FK must have a form
The form must have a display menu item
The menu item must have the same name as the table or the FormRef property must be set
The menu item must have security set up, and the user must have read access (or better)
Running the Best Practice check will usually spot the errors.
This blog entry explains it nicely.
You have to create Display Menu Item with the selected form.
Then you can set newly created menu item for the FormRef property of the Table.

Ms access form: field order

can I somehow set in what order the text fields become active after pressing the "Tab" button?
I think it depends on when you added the field and not where it is in the form. So can I change this or I should add the fields in the order I want to switch them with the "Tab" button?
Thanks!
There are at least a couple of ways to change tab order.
With the form in design view, right click on an area of the form without a control. On the context menu that appears, click on Tab Order. A dialog will open that will allow you to change the tab order.
Another method is via the property sheet for each control. On the Other tab there is a property for Tab Order. Just set it to whatever you like.
