I setup weblogic to run on my Mac. I am trying to start weblogic from eclipse on port 80 but it doesn't start. I can start the server using sudo on a terminal. I am not able to figure out which script gets called when I start the server from eclipse?
The error that I am getting is:
There are 1 nested errors:
weblogic.management.ManagementException: Unable to obtain File lock on /local/bea/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/tmp/AdminServer.lok : java.io.FileNotFoundException: /local/bea/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/tmp/AdminServer.lok (Permission denied)

Eclipse uses the startWeblogic.sh and setDomainEnv.sh from your domain's bin folder. Make sure that these are executable. Maybe you need to execute chmod +x *sh in the bin folder.

I'm trying to install PostgreSQL form ToolShed on my windows machine.
Everytime I run the intaller as admin it fails with errors.
Failed to load SQL modules into the database cluster.
Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly
Error reading file C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/11/data/postgresql.conf
I see the C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/11/data folder is empty.
So I execute initdb, which is loading data folder with some files
and try to start server using
pg_ctl -D C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/11/data -l logfile start
I get below error.
waiting for server to start....Access is denied.
stopped waiting
pg_ctl: could not start server
Tried v11/13/15 same issue with all of them.
Thanks
I follow this Keycloak guide to start Keycloak on my server. I am receiving the next exception when running the bin/kc.sh start-dev command:
ERROR: Failed to run 'build' command.
ERROR: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: /srv/keycloak/lib/lib/main/org.eclipse.microprofile.context-propagation.microprofile-context-propagation-api-1.2.jar does not exist
ERROR: /srv/keycloak/lib/lib/main/org.eclipse.microprofile.context-propagation.microprofile-context-propagation-api-1.2.jar does not exist
ERROR: /srv/keycloak/lib/lib/main/org.eclipse.microprofile.context-propagation.microprofile-context-propagation-api-1.2.jar
For more details run the same command passing the '--verbose' option. Also you can use '--help' to see the details about the usage of the particular command.
The Keycloak version is 18.0.1, the installed JDK version is 11.0.15, the OS is Debian 11
Can anyone tell me how to solve it? Thanks
It turned out that some of the jars were missing after extracting the loaded Keycloak 18.0.2 tar.gz file on the server. After replacing the jars under keycloak/lib/lib/main and keycloak/lib/lib/deployment I was able to start the Keycloak. To do that, I extracted Keycloak 18.0.2 tar.gz on my local machine and uploaded corresponding jars to the server machine.
I get the following error when connecting to a remote host to setup remote SSH connection.
Server did not start successfully. Full server log >>>

Not sure how to proceed, and no more information in the log file or terminal.
Please help.
I had the same issue too.
My local OS is macOS 10.15.4, and the remote OS is CentOS 8.
It turns out that CentOS 8 doesn't installed tar as default. So I just install it (sudo yum install tar), and then connect to remote again in VSCode and it works.
I have the same issue.
The server.sh file is nowhere to be found.

Update after solving the issue:
In my case, VSCODE couldn't download the server.sh file. I gave the linux server permission to download from these two sites and the problem was solved.
update.code.visualstudio.com or (https://visualstudio.com with all prefixes)
vo.msecnd.net or (https://msecnd.net with all prefixes)
I have installed zookeeper on my Linux server ubuntu 12.04 in some folder like abc/zookeeper/zkserver/bin/zkserver.sh start. this works fine and starts the server as expected but when i put this zkserver.sh file in /etc/init.d folder and copy the file in rc2.d folder for the reason to start-up zookeeper on system reboot. and when i run this command /etc/init.d/zkserver.sh start this is giving errors like:
JMX enabled by default
Using config: /etc/init.d/../etc/zookeeper/zoo.cfg
grep: /etc/init.d/../etc/zookeeper/zoo.cfg: No such file or directory
mkdir: cannot create directory `': No such file or directory
Starting zookeeper ... STARTED
The zkServer.sh is dependent on a certain directory structure and certain files being present. It is not supposed to be moved in isolation like that. It is also not supposed to be used as an init script.
Check if your zk download comes with the init script. Try looking at src/packages/rpm/init.d/zookeeper or similar, and use that one instead.
I just downloaded mysql 64 bit as a zip package from their website, extract it to c:\mysql
and added c:\mysql\bin to my path.
I then open a command prompt as administrator and run:
mysqld -install
To install the mysql server as a service. I then go to windows services and start MySQL (also tried sc start MySQL from cmd), but I get the following error message:
Upon inspecting the properties of the service, it shows the path as C:\Program Files\MySQL-5.6.17\bin\ instead of C:\mysql\bin. Any ideas why this is happening?
Use the FULL PATH of your mysql server exe
Try this:
"C:\mysql\bin\mysqld" -install
It turns out that the service installation routine expects the .exe to be at the MySQL default installation directory of C:\Program Files\MySQL-5.6.17\bin\
Your installation with the straightforward mysqld -install could work, albeit only partially, because you had the correct path under Windows PATH
This is certainly a great inadequacy in the MySQL documentation, which does not address this issue at all.
Knowing you might have resolved your problem one way or another, I still thought to post this here as it might be of help to someone with time!
Cheers.
