TYPO3 Formhandler "Attachment not found: !" - typo3

I was trying to implement the typo3-formhandler. I followed this tutorial: How to set up a simple form
step by step, but I keep getting this error:
Attachment not found! Mail NOT sent to: [mail address]
I've made a couple of pictures of the whole debug log:
http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/tg5sjj9x/Bildschirmfoto.png
http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/f6btnnxq/Bildschirmfoto1.png

The problem was, that I haven't configured PHP's mail-Function on my server. I just assmued that formhandler would use TYPO3-Configuration, but it didn't.
Since Version 1.2, you can tell FormHandler to use TYPO3's config:
http://www.typo3-formhandler.com/documentation/release-notes/version-120/
Correct Typoscript-Script for the problem is:
plugin.Tx_Formhandler.settings {
debug = 1
templateFile = fileadmin/contactform/1-contactform.html
formValuesPrefix = formhandler
finishers {
1 {
class = Tx_Formhandler_Finisher_Mail
config {
mailer.class = Mailer_TYPO3Mailer
}
}
2 {
class = Tx_Formhandler_Finisher_SubmittedOK
config.returns = 1
}
}
}

Grails injected Mail Service bean is null inside a controller

I am trying to use the following Grails Mail plugin: https://grails.org/plugin/mail
I've added the depedency in BuildConfig.groovy:
plugins {
//mail plugin
compile "org.grails.plugins:mail:1.0.7"
}
The I've configured it to use a specific email by adding the following code in Config.groovy:
grails {
mail {
host = "smtp.gmail.com"
port = 465
username = "-my email-"
password = "-my password-"
props = ["mail.smtp.auth":"true",
"mail.smtp.socketFactory.port":"465",
"mail.smtp.socketFactory.class":"javax.net.ssl.SSLSocketFactory",
"mail.smtp.socketFactory.fallback":"false"]
from = "no-reply#kunega.com"
}
}
I have a controller where I declare the mailService so it should be injectd as a bean:
#Secured("permitAll")
class RegisterController {
def mailService
def springSecurityService
#Transactional
def registerAccount(UserCommand userCommand) {
def model
if (springSecurityService.isLoggedIn()) {
model = [success: false, message: 'Log out to register a new account.']
response.status = 400
} else if (userCommand.validate()) {
User u = userCommand.createUser()
u.save(flush: true);
Role role = Role.findByAuthority("ROLE_USER")
UserRole.create u, role, true
def link = createLink(controller: 'register', action: 'activateAccount', params: [code: u.confirmCode])
mailService.sendMail {
async true
to 'kunega#mailinator.com'
html "Activate your account on Kunega"
}
model = [success: true, message: 'An activation link has been sent to your email.']
response.status = 201
} else {
model = [success: false, errors: userCommand.getErrors()]
response.status = 400
}
render model as JSON
}
}
I am trying to use the sendMail method it in the registerAccount method of the controller. However I get an error, which basically says that the mailService object is null. Here is the error message:
errors.GrailsExceptionResolver NullPointerException occurred when processing request: [POST] /Kunega/register/createAccount

And there is another strange thing that I should mention. I'm using IntelliJ Ultimate Edition, and here is a curios thing:
If you notice inside the highlighted area with red, the IDE is showing that it can't recognize the arguments inside the closure that is passed to sendEmail.
I've never used this plugin before, so I just followed the steps in the docs, but apparently something is wrong. Thank you for your help.
In your code you have:
html "Activate your account on Kunega"
which I suppose should be either:
html "Activate your account on Kunega"
or
html "Activate your account on Kunega"
otherwise you call a method html with params "Activate your account on Kunega".

Why do I get an MSPL exception "ProxyRequest only valid for sipRequest"

I'm writing a Lync MSPL application using a manifest and a windows service. In my manifest.am I have the following code:

<r:applicationManifest
r:appUri="http://www.company.no/LyncServerFilter"
xmlns:r="http://schemas.microsoft.com/lcs/2006/05">
<r:requestFilter methodNames="ALL"
strictRoute="true"
domainSupported="false"/>
<r:responseFilter reasonCodes="ALL"/>
<r:proxyByDefault action="true" />
<r:allowRegistrationBeforeUserServices action="true" />
<r:splScript>

callId = GetHeaderValues("Call-ID");
cseq = GetHeaderValues("CSeq");
content = "";
sstate = GetHeaderValues("subscription-state");
xevent = GetHeaderValues("Event");
xdir = GetHeaderValues("Direction");
xexp = GetHeaderValues("Session-Expires");
referto = GetHeaderValues("Refer-To");
if (sipRequest)
{
if (sipRequest.Method == "INVITE") {
if (ContainsString(sipRequest.Content, "m=audio", true)) {
content = "audio";
}
else if (ContainsString(sipRequest.Content, "m=video", true)) {
content = "video";
}
else if (ContainsString(sipRequest.Content, "m=message", true)) {
content = "message";
}
else if (ContainsString(sipRequest.Content, "m=application", true)) {
content = "application";
}
else {
content = "unknown";
}
}
else if (sipRequest.Method == "NOTIFY" || sipRequest.Method == "BENOTIFY") {
content = sipRequest.Content;
}
DispatchNotification("OnRequest", sipRequest.Method, sipMessage.From, sipMessage.To, callId, cseq, content, xdir, xevent, sstate, xexp, referto);
if (sipRequest) {
ProxyRequest();
}
}
else if(sipResponse) {
DispatchNotification("OnResponse", sipResponse.StatusCode, sipResponse.StatusReasonPhrase, sipMessage.From, sipMessage.To, callId, cseq, content, xdir, xevent, sstate, xexp, referto);
ProxyResponse();
}
</r:splScript>
</r:applicationManifest>
I'm getting the following errormessage in Eventlog on Lync Front End server:
Lync Server application MSPL script execution aborted because of an error
Application Uri at 'http://www.company.no/LyncServerFilter', at line 60
Error: 0x80070057 - The parameter is incorrect
Additional information: ProxyRequest only valid for sipRequest
Line 60 is where I call ProxyRequest:
if (sipRequest) {
ProxyRequest();
}
Questions:
Why does the errormessage say that ProxyRequest is only valid for a sipRequest? I'm checking that it is a sipMessage right?
Can I remove my call to ProxyRequest() since I have set proxyByDefault=true? Does the DistpathNotification-method "handle" the method (swallow it), or will the message be proxied by default? The code "works" when I remove the call to ProxyRequest(), but I'm not sure what the consequences are...
The ProxyRequest method takes a argument of the uri, which is why you are getting the compile error message.
So you should be calling it like:
ProxyRequest(""); // send to the URI specified in the request itself
Removing it effectivity does the same thing as per your proxyByDefault setting being set to true:
If true, the server automatically proxies any messages that are not handled by the application. If false, the message is dropped and applications that follow this application in the application execution order will not receive it. The default value is true.
As a side-note, you can use compilespl.exe, which comes as part of the Lync Server SDK to verify that your MSPL script is correct before trying to start it on the lync server.
Check out this link in the 'Compile the MSPL application separately' section.

SMTP settings work from localhost but on server it doesn't with PHPMailer

This is the issue what i am facing
Localhost
Test mail with SMTP settings work
New user creation mail using the above smtp settings work
Server
Test mail with SMTP settings work
New user creation mail using the above smtp settings doesn't work
I echoed the mail smtp settings in both the cases and they are exactly same. The error i am getting is
SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: php_network_getaddresses:
getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known (0)SMTP Connect()
failed.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
I further debug it. The behavior turns out to be wierd
if (isset($_POST['User']))
{
if (UserUtil::validateAndSaveUserData($model, $_POST))
{
$mailer = new UiMailer();
$mailer->setFrom('fromAddress', 'fromName');
$mailer->setTo('toaddress');
$mailer->setSubject('Test subject');
$mailer->setBody('Test Body');
$mailer->Mailer = 'smtp';
$mailer->Username = 'username';
$mailer->Password = 'password';
$mailer->Host = 'host';
$mailer->Port = 25;
$mailer->SMTPAuth = true;
$status = $mailer->send() ? true : false;
if($status == true)
{
print "Sucess";
}
else
{
print $mailer->ErrorInfo . "
";
print "Failuere";
}
exit;
}
}
If i comment the call if (UserUtil::validateAndSaveUserData($model, $_POST)), it works fine. In the function i am validating and saving models using Yii framework. I further debug the function. I have the following relation in the system
User has one person
User has one address
So in the above call, if i comment the address part which $model->address->attributes or $model->address->validate or $model->address->save(), it works fine. The save functionality for address works fine. There are no issues related to it.

PayPalAPIInterfaceServiceService::SetExpressCheckout() returns null response object

I'm using Yii to build an application that requires payments through PayPal. After a lot of digging, I found that ExpressCheckout is the method to use. The code below worked fine some time ago (some (?) weeks ago, I suppose before PayPal rolling out their new developer platform), using version 1.2.95 of the PHP SDK. Now, using the latest version v.2.2.98, the code fails.
require_once(Yii::getPathOfAlias('application.libraries.paypal') . '/PPBootStrap.php');
$logger = new PPLoggingManager('SetExpressCheckout');
$PaymentDetails = new PaymentDetailsType();
$PaymentDetails->OrderTotal = $PaymentDetails->ItemTotal =
new BasicAmountType('USD', $subscription->price);
$PaymentDetails->PaymentAction = "Sale";
$PaymentDetails->OrderDescription = $subscription->description;
$setECReqDetails = new SetExpressCheckoutRequestDetailsType();
$setECReqDetails->PaymentDetails[0] = $PaymentDetails;
$setECReqDetails->CancelURL = 'someCancelUrl';
$setECReqDetails->ReturnURL = 'someReturnUrl';
$setECReqType = new SetExpressCheckoutRequestType();
$setECReqType->SetExpressCheckoutRequestDetails = $setECReqDetails;
$setECReq = new SetExpressCheckoutReq();
$setECReq->SetExpressCheckoutRequest = $setECReqType;
$paypalService = new PayPalAPIInterfaceServiceService();
$ok = TRUE;
try {
$setECResponse = $paypalService->SetExpressCheckout($setECReq);
if($setECResponse && strtoupper($setECResponse->Ack) =='SUCCESS') {
$token = $setECResponse->Token;
// Redirect to paypal.com here
$this->redirect(
'https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/webscr?cmd=_express-checkout&token=' . $token);
}
}
catch (Exception $ex) {
Yii::trace(__METHOD__ . ': Exception while interacting with PayPal API, error: '
. $ex->getMessage());
$ok = FALSE;
}
The offending line is:
$setECResponse = $paypalService->SetExpressCheckout($setECReq);
In PayPalAPIInterfaceServiceService::SetExpressCheckout(), these two lines:
$resp = $this->call('PayPalAPIAA', 'SetExpressCheckout', $setExpressCheckoutReq, $apiCredential);
$ret->init(PPUtils::xmlToArray($resp));
are the issue. $resp is null, so the next line fails at the PPUtils::xmlToArray($resp) method call.
Obviously, either I'm missing something here, or PayPal does something wrong.
Any help?
After a lot of debugging, the cause of the issue was that the service.EndPoint.PayPalAPI parameter was not defined in sdk_config.ini. For some reason that I don't recall, this parameter was deleted from the working config file from the previous version.
Now, the express checkout method works fine, even with the latest 2.3.100 version of the API.

Send email codeigniter function returns "Recipient address rejected: Domain not found" instead of false

I'm using codeigniter. I test to send an email to a wrong inexistant address like t#t.com.
My code is just a method of the controleur like that :
function test() {
$this->email->from('mymail#gmail.com');
$this->email->to(htmlentities("t#t.com"));
$this->email->subject('test');
$this->email->message("Just a test !");
$r = $this->email->send();
if (!$r)
echo "not sent, wrong email";
else
echo "sent";
}
Basically, the send() function returns true or false. But it doesn't work ! The error message I got is as following :
A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Warning
Message: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 550 5.1.2 <t#t.com>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found
Filename: libraries/Email.php
Line Number: 1540
not sent, wrong email
I have the message, so send() function replies false but I also have the error message, which I don't want !
It's a blocking point. Anyone has an idea why send() function doesn't return the true or false reply ?
thanks by advance !
a quick and dirty hack to get rid of the error is to prepend the mail function with '#':
$r = #$this->email->send();
I've tried it and it works as it should, I get: not sent, wrong email.
What version of CI are you using? make sure it's the last one.
Just in case, check the Email.php library under system/libraries in your CI folder
protected function _send_with_mail()
{
if ($this->_safe_mode == TRUE)
{
if ( ! mail($this->_recipients, $this->_subject, $this->_finalbody, $this->_header_str))
{
return FALSE;
}
else
{
return TRUE;
}
}
else
{
// most documentation of sendmail using the "-f" flag lacks a space after it, however
// we've encountered servers that seem to require it to be in place.
if ( ! mail($this->_recipients, $this->_subject, $this->_finalbody, $this->_header_str, "-f ".$this->clean_email($this->_headers['From'])))
{
return FALSE;
}
else
{
return TRUE;
}
}
}
Check that the function _send_with_mail() inside looks exactly like the one above
